One thing I really liked was that the table was heated because I've been having some issues with my back that make it uncomfortable to lay down so having that heated surface under my back made my appointment even more relaxing. My skin felt amazing when she was done, even though she had to do a few extractions. I was so pleased that I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for a few months out so that my skin will be able to recover from the upcoming summer months. He never worked on my neck and shoulders while I was face up which is odd since I mentioned they were an area of focus I wanted. They also don't do the hot wet towels on your back to wipe off excess oil. I was not impressed when I left with so much oil on my feet I was sliding around and my car seat had residual massage oil when I got out. The man who gave me a massage awkwardly ended it by saying, "okay, that's it". And walking out. No, I'll meet you outside or we'll have tea for you... completely abrupt and odd. I walked out after dressing and the front desk lady was nice enough but said she didn't know I wa done and was going to go get me water and snacks. It wasn't long until I got an email from Lacey Holland, the owner of the Day Spa, who was very responsive and did a great job putting together a package for me that would work well for the special occasion as well as keep my wife there at her place for 3 hrs. We settled on The Ultimate Recovery Facial + 45 minute massage 2 hours 45 minutes treatment that began with a foot soak and has a two hour facial/LED light therapy oxygen treatment with a 45 minute massage focused on whatever area of the body is most needed and then during the facial includes more facial massage next massage and a foot massage. Lacey even threw-in an extra 15 min. for that perfect 3hr getaway. When I picked up my wife, she looked so radiant and relaxed. My wife is an RN that works nights and just finished a 5-day marathon. She flew back from CA just a few days before. Since we were new clients, the massage was supposed to be $10 off. That means the total should have been $169 plus a 20% tip ($33.80), which equals $202.80. Instead, they charged my card $214.00. The manager, Wendy, knew my husband was a new client because (1) he had never been there before, and (2) I had called ahead to confirm the new client discount and asked about the $10 off. Despite that, she charged the full amount plus the tip and never applied the discount. Wendy only refunded me after I posted this review--and even then, she called and texted my husband asking that I remove it multiple times, continuing to harass us even after I told her I would take the review down. I do believe this was stealing. Wendy is the manager and should know how to correctly process a new client discount. Instead, she knowingly charged my card more than authorized, including a 20% fee I never signed paperwork for or agreed to. I wasn't even present at the time, so the only authorization she had from me was for the $169 new client rate. Being pressured for two days straight to delete a review after money was wrongly taken from my account is unprofessional, unethical, and unacceptable.
