I was impressed by their eclectic collection of unique and culturally inspired items. The store has a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, and things are artistically displayed . From handmade crafts to global artifacts, the store offers a diverse range of gifts that celebrate different cultures. We ended up finding quite a few fun things that made great presents . Prices are slightly higher because I am assuming a lot of it is exported .

She said her shop has been open for 20 years, with 8 years at this particular location. From the moment we walked in, I felt like we were being watched the entire time. As a single mom shopping alone with young children, it was incredibly uncomfortable. For context, my children were behaving appropriately. They were not running around the store or touching merchandise. My 5-year-old simply had a pen in his hand while we were shopping. The final straw was when I asked a sales associate if there was an issue with us. She got down to my 5-year-old's level and pretended to punch him. Why would you pretend a punch my five-year-olds to wind him up when you're obviously watching me because you're judging. She appeared to be in a management position, which made the interaction even more upsetting. We still made it to the checkout line, and she continued watching us. At no point did she apologize or acknowledge how uncomfortable the situation had become. I left the earrings and didn't want to purchase. It's frustrating that a children's store could make a parent feel so unwelcome it was actually my two year old that depends. Shopping with kids isn't always easy, but families deserve kindness and understanding--not judgment. I left feeling embarrassed, disappointed, and certain that I will not be returning.

Well we went in to ask if would be opening up since the lights were on. The owner greeted us and said oh the girl just went home sick but I have time I can open the store for you. As we waiting for her, she was so gracious to the guest she was assisting and her other staff as she explained the situation and excused herself. So our sweet girls got to on their annual shopping spree at their favorite store in Leavenworth thanks to her. I can't remember her name but she was so friendly and loved helping the girls pick things out and show them all the toys and accessories in the shop. We have gone to both shops for the last 5 years on our annual trip to Leavenworth and every time the experience is exceptional.
