The steak and lobster were a bit overcooked for my taste, but still tasty. The meal came with mashed potatoes and green beans, both cooked and seasoned perfectly. My mom had the halibut special, and the fish was definitely overcooked as well. For drinks, I had the TJC Hurricane with dinner and the Hershey's Kiss after. Both were probably the best drinks I've had in Hilton Head, strong and delicious. If you like something sweet and chocolatey, the Hershey's Kiss is a must, honestly better than dessert! No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. A great place to walk, browse, people watch, and just relax, and is nearby the main hub of Savannah.
