Aside from the usual suspects, they also carry an interesting collection of wines and spirits. Every time I come in I always seem to find something new... And usually end up leaving with it! My recent favorites were a blue mango sparkling Moscato (hello brunch!) and a sparkling red wine (in a show-stopping metallic red bottle). They also have lots of novelties towards the front of the store. Buckets of jello shots, a selection of mini bottles of liquor, an assortment of juices and snacks, and lots of other random things. This is an especially good place to visit when stocking up for a party. I always forget this part until it's too late, but they also have a drive-thru. I have yet to use it because I like to go in and see what new inventory they have, but if you're pressed for time, that's also an option.

I purchased a bottle of Bartenura wine for $14.99, only to get home and discover that the cork was defective and would not come out of the bottle. Approximately two hours later, I returned to the store to exchange the bottle. The associate attempted to remove the cork using two different corkscrews, and he was unable to get it out either. At that point, I simply requested a replacement bottle. The manager/owner was contacted and, rather than resolving what should have been a very simple customer-service issue, he claimed that the store had not sold me that bottle that day. He stated that he had checked the surveillance footage, register, and my pending bank transaction. I found this extremely disappointing, especially considering the purchase was only $14.99. What bothered me most was how I was treated as a customer. I was not asking for anything unreasonable--just an exchange for a defective product that the store had sold me. As an African American customer, I also left feeling that my business and concerns were not valued or respected. Black consumers contribute significantly to the success of businesses in our communities, and we deserve to be treated with the same respect and consideration as any other customer. I will not be returning to this store and would strongly encourage the ownership/management to reevaluate how they handle customer complaints and defective merchandise.
