The Customer Service here is absolutely Top-Tier and hilarious interactions. I love the drive thru ambiance is always put together and clean, the offerings are always changing on the marquee,so you know what they serve. Anthony(Tony) is always!! very pleasant, respectful and yesterday he was a True aficionado!, broke it down to a science when speaking of the sizes of wine/liquor as some customers get confused because they go off what they see so some don't know a fifth or pint is two different sizes. Met Marie at the drive-thru this so helpful and accommodating and too funny when they were out of a wine my fam was getting for herself, Marie gave her a look like like I can go grab whaaaatever you like if that's what you want,it's ok you don't have to rush( cars where behind us) . Got the Makings for Martinis and Margaritas , I'd absolutely choose this spot customer service alone and you don't have to feel rushed if you're indecisive they all have patience and understanding, they even make suggestions. affordable prices are a bonus. read more

Ghetto. This place is just a joke. I bought something on 11/30 that had been expired since 9/18. When I tried to return it, the manager was rude as hell, telling me it was my fault for not checking the date, as if it's okay to sell expired products. As if it is MY fault that they have 73-day old products on the shelves! (Mind you my friend went back today, and the same expired products are still on the shelves.) And about the manager...walking around without shoes. Socks all black and dirty at the bottom. Asking me questions like "uhm why didn't you call" or "you couldn't come back before now." (mind you I came back the very next day, as soon as I got off, all within 24 hours, lol) Totally unprofessional. And... as if I am supposed to know the unposted protocol for dealing with THEIR wrongdoings... She was yelling and cursing at customers and employees... How is this the "decision-maker" and person in charge? ..I should've asked her if she was going to put that dirty sock back in her shoe, that woulda gave me insight about her judgement right there. Just gross. I noticed a bottle of bourbon with a faded label, possibly exposed to heat--another violation of how alcohol should be stored. It's questionable if the store was even following basic safety rules--I noticed a leak, and who knows how long its been there, (hopefully not 73 days like the expired beverages I purchased) but I can't believe they're selling damaged or expired goods this boldly. And being rude when it comes to a customer pointing it out, and asking for a refund! If its late and this place is the only one open, oh well. Not going here. On top of all this, the manager couldn't help me access a transaction that was made less than 24 hours ago....hopefully this is not an indication of poor inventory management and a lack of proper records. Because...that's another violation. It kinda seems like keeping track of their stock is not a best practice, and who knows what other violations are going on behind the scenes. This place is a disaster. I'm never going back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Shoutout to madame "manager." The store is a true reflection of her. I'll eat the $11.99 plus tax... I can write it off actually. AND, it's cool because part of me really feels bad for you...just sitting there with your terrible attitude, close-minded way of thinking, paycheck to paycheck mentality, and unwillingness to be of any true help. This place is great because they are open late. However, there are men that are outside 24/7 that can't seem to let women shop without being bothered. It's annoying and infuriating. This place is clutch! Whether I know exactly what I'm looking for or if I'm just perusing and looking for something new to try, this place always comes through. Aside from the usual suspects, they also carry an interesting collection of wines and spirits. Every time I come in I always seem to find something new... And usually end up leaving with it! My recent favorites were a blue mango sparkling Moscato (hello brunch!) and a sparkling red wine (in a show-stopping metallic red bottle). They also have lots of novelties towards the front of the store. Buckets of jello shots, a selection of mini bottles of liquor, an assortment of juices and snacks, and lots of other random things. This is an especially good place to visit when stocking up for a party. I always forget this part until it's too late, but they also have a drive-thru. I have yet to use it because I like to go in and see what new inventory they have, but if you're pressed for time, that's also an option. read more

I love this place and I'm so glad I found it. I was using the usual delivery apps for alcohol delivery during Covid restrictions but since MD put back the law of no across state line alcohol deliveries recently (which was temporarily halted due to Covid restrictions) and I'm on the cusp of D.C., I haven't been able to order any alcohol via ubereats, doordash, or even GoPuff because all alcohol delivery locations that show are up are in D.C. As the original builder of this store I love the Maroon Awnings over the original yellow ones. Don't forget this store sold a 2 million dollar scratch off ticket. It is a lucky store, who sells that big of a winner on Friday the 13th 1996 it was December first $10 tickets ever right before Christmas. Hands down the best liquor store in the Capitol Heights/Forestville area. They have come a long way over the 30 years I've patroned this place when it was called Triangle Liquors. From bulletproof glass and all liquor behind the counter to open aisles of liquor, beer refrigerators and a security guard. And their prices also have been rejuvenated for the better. I had the WORST experience here! I felt like a criminal from the time I walked in until the time I left! I've been in this area for years, coming to this store and not having any issues....even though it was ordering through a 4 inch thick piece of glass. Although the alcohol is not locked behind a wall....you feel like you're going to be shot if you pick up a bottle. I would advise the ownership to ease up a little. Nice place! Wouldn't even know it was there if I didn't use GPS because it's kinda in the cut. The lines get long but they move fast. Staff is friendly. Decent selection of wine, but don't like that the refrigerated wine selection is slim (put some pino grigio in there!) Overall a decent place and I love they are open late! read more

Unfortunately the price for all crown Royal was $27.99 I thought outstanding. Upon arriving to the register the item was rung in as 46.99 I explained that's not the price that's posted. The people who work here are extremely rude and lack customer service. Maybe, I'm spoiled by the store that I normally visit, but this place leaves a really bad taste in your mouth.
