They had staples like brisket, which was tender and specials like the smoked wings, which had so much smoky flavor to it. The pork rib pastrami was tasty but a little dry and the sausages were decent. The sides definitely amplified the meal and I really liked how they put a unique twist on the sides. The harissa carrots were really good, and their Napa cabbage slaw made me think of Korean water kimchi, because it was so refreshing. They also had lemon toasted potatoes and Mac and cheese. The meal came with huge pieces of bread, bbq sauce, pickles, and tzatziki sauce. For dessert we tried the bread pudding, which was soft and gooey, and what looked like a s'mores rice crispy, which you can't go wrong with.

This food truck, though, has. What to get: whatever she gives you. That's not just for this truck but general advice for life. Amazing service from a woman that really cares and will stuff your box (so to speak) full of all kinds of crazy wild food. The service definitely gets a 5. The prices and food are a 4. They are good but not amazing. You get a ton of food, including meatballs and drunken noodles and all sorts of other weird stuff. It's all good but none of it was like, omg wow I can't wait to come back. The Thai Tea Bubble Tea was pretty yum, but the bubbles in it were not so fresh at all. I'd have enjoyed it more if I had ordered it without bubbles. Overall a great experience. My first food in DC after driving non stop from Pittsburgh, where I had just driven to from Buffalo. A crazy long drive which ended in me eating a ton of food from this truck and so it will always be a really positive memory for me. But if you've already tried it and enjoyed it, then I just Sang to the choir. Wheeeeeelllllls... I better be going. I have to talk to my friends from Ireland, Scotland, and Wheels.

While normally opting for tender Beef Tongue (Lengua) I can get it, this was the first time I saw lamb, specifically Lamb Barbeque (Barbacoa de Borrego) on any Mexican menu, so decided to try it out in a corn tortilla Quesadilla. It arrived freshly prepared not as a flat quesadilla I'm accustomed to, but more like two giant tacos. (See pic.) This sizable portion came with a red and green salsas, so I tried one on each. Both were good additions, but the red one cleared my sinuses! Definitely recommend El Jalapeño! Look forward to a future visit to Bethesda to trying something with their tongue the next

"Fine, except for this tarzan heat". He says "you like Pakistani food?" , I reply "sure, like I like my Pakistani women, scrumptuous and SPICY!" Then I realized he was the owner or something when he offered to let me taste the food before I chose wisely. They offered chicken and lamb chunks on flavorful basmatti rice or a pita. Side salad included, and everything topped with a yogurt and or spicy red sauce. I decided to go with the chicken bites and both sauces. It wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be, but it was good. It actually had a nice even flavor. The people in the truck were really friendly too. So for the overall experience I'm giving them 4 stars. Be sure to check them out yourself.
