It made my daughter extremely happy from the start. Hannah definitely worked to keep the menu within our budget, offering suggestions on where we could tighten things. The week of the event, they were back in touch to finalize details and on the day of the event, Chloe showed up with the food at the designated time and was very professional and polite but also very approachable. She did an excellent job setting up and explaining all the dishes. Finally, the food! Absolutely amazing! The hits were the leaf-wrapped elven lembdas bread and Balin's spiced beef (brisket). The brisket was so tender it melted in your mouth. While those two were the standouts, the rest of the food certainly held its own and disappeared quickly. Regardless of the drizzle of rain, the heat & those pesky mosquitoes, the employees were Rockstars. Two of three that were on the grill along with the Manger on duty had not issue checking to see if their Veggie Burger was Vegan friendly, it was not. However & in the interim of checking the ingredients, one of the Griller's offered to cook the Veggie Burger on aluminum foil & away from the meat products...that did me righteous. Other employees taking orders were just as friendly in trying to accommodate customers & their children selections. As far as prices serving an outside venue/event the menu (Tempo Grill) are pretty reasonable, glass of wine for $7, a bag of chips or cookies for $2, Veggie Burgers $11 & Personal Pizza $10. There is eco-friendly self serving station providing plenty of condiments, napkins & utensils. Again, my review is based solely upon the good customer service & accommodations I received during Strathmore's Summer Concert Series & not for catering services. Now Ridgewells, let's get some Vegan Patties on the grill! :-)
