I've sold them coins, gold, and silver. It's a very honest place who gives you an honest price - no haggle needed. Strongly recommend

I am a big fan of Distinctive Coins. They are the most fair coin shop in the West suburbs and Chris and Ray are very polite and helpful.

Well worth the visit to see the selection of garden furniture. It's seems to be unique to the area as I don't know of any other store with garden stuff like this. It isn''t stuff to find at Tuesday Morning but actual old iron and stone benches and tables and chairs, just delightful! The store itself is nice with a good selection of furniture, jewelry and smalls. I feel though that the prices are a bit high compared to other area stores, but it just might be the slight difference in quality and rarity of items compared to other stores. ( I'm not enough of a expert to know.) The store is packed so plan on a long visit.... in between the garden courtyards are more back buildings filled with less qulaity furniture and stuff. All together I think there are 3 buildings, and 2 courtyards. I also recommend not bringing your screaming kids- the aisles are quite narrow and stuff is piled high and one bad move of the elbow and I bet someone will be buying the things they break. Touch with your eyes, not with your hands!

There are tons of venders who have sections of items. Some can be pricey, but there are definitely deals to be found. In one afternoon, my kid was inspired to redecorate her whole bedroom with antiques and florals. We bought lamps and pictures, and decor for shelves. She was so happy, which made me so happy. I collect vintage Christmas elves from the 50's. I was so excited to find some. I usually find them at estate sales, so finding one in a shop was a bonus. When we rang it all up it came to $250. We walked out with a lot of stuff, so $250 was a great deal. Just remember they don't do returns or exchanges I can't believe I waited so long to show her this place. I know she'll make me bring her here often.

How harmful can a musical comedy be to their business? Would not even hang the poster in the back for their employees to see. Sad as I've purchased many items here in the past. I won't support this store any longer.

They're also reasonable with their prices, they'll meet you in the middle but remember they do have to make a profit so don't expect to come in here, grab 10 things and walk away with everything for $7... everything in the picture I got for $40! Basically you're just playing Pawn Stars haggling with the man at the front (probably without any experts involved.) Don't get me wrong this store got plenty of business and customers throughout our visit here. The store itself is chaos and unorganized. In the men's restroom it's absolutely awful because they have stuff thrown and shoved all over the bathroom and around the corners it seems like it's definitely a fire hazard just walking around. One of the weird things I found was a checkbook from many years ago. Nobody should be selling that that thing needs to be sent to the fire. They do have some decent finds but nothing out of the ordinary.

I was asked to help sell the crown and I first tried the mail in service who I sold a bunch of old silver forks and stuff to, but the price they offered was nowhere close to the market rate for the gold. So I got it back and took it to A to Z, remembering they're a pawn shop not just a store. The service was friendly like always. I handed over the crown and wandered around while he weighed and tested it to determine purity. When they had an offer ready for me it was a lot better than the other place and closer to what I was expecting. We made the deal and I got paid in cash. My loved one was happy and so was I with the fair business conducted here. And like I mentioned in my older review, they have some cool merch in their store and the prices are fair.

Once inside, I was disappointed. Maybe it was the "longing to get inside" but once inside it was less than I anticipated. Happily it was still open (hours weren't anywhere to be found online, but I found a sheet in the store snd added them here!) and we had some time to roam around the small two story space which is packed with goodies! If you've lost your marbles, this is the place to look for them; bottles and jars full can be found all over the shop! Along with items as diverse as a lady's plumed riding hat, artistic miniature figures, a lot of classic bar gear, vintage radios, classic instruments from makers like Fender and Gibson, and so much more. If you like tiny things, the owner has boxes behind the counter, divided out into categories (political etc). The owner, John, was a fun fellow to chat with. Be prepared to pay cash; Uncle Bubs across the street does have an ATM! My friend did find a unique metal clarinet, including its original case and a stand, for $65. Prices were fairly reasonable overall for the things I looked at. Items do apparently move quickly here; someone stopped in while we were shopping to ask about a typewriter that was recently there and it had since sold. So if you see something you like, better jump on it! Overall, definitely worth dropping in! I would certainly check back on a future trip to that side of town.
