I am unfamiliar with the history of these sets from generations past, and though I am grateful to have them, they are simply not needed! I brought many pieces into AAA on each visit,I was initially a bit intimidated and nervous to pursue the route of selling, that went away immediately as the entire experience could not have been more kinder, informative and honest! This little spot on Ogden Avenue in Downers Grove is very welcoming! I sold many pieces and was able to leave with payment right away which was a delightful surprise! Hoping to find more Treasures and I will definitely continue to return to this fabulous place! Kay

The first time we went in, Jim was very thorough with how the customization would work, timeline, etc. we decided quickly that we wanted to get our bands done here. We were both able to find our dream wedding bands at AAA! Highly recommend anyone needing any type of jewelry; whether it's wedding rings, or trading in any jewelry, this is the best place to go!

"I might find a treasure among the discarded everything" she always said, and she would come home with a collectable this, that or another thing. She never sold anything, at least since my dad passed so the stuff just accumulates in the basement. The last time I went with her on a "run", we stopped a the ark in chicago (those of you who do this sort of thing, you know the place I mean right?). and my casual shopping finally paid dividends... I always look at this thing or that, mostly trying to placate her in her search for the next "treasure" but this time the very first thing I picked up was a metal pitcher that might work to serve water. My years going to these places finally paid off when I turned it upside down and saw the all important word... STERLING. There was a box behind this piece filled with odds and ends, all similar of silver metal, most with the word sterling across the bottom, or side. Mom said I hit it big and who was I to argue, I've watched the prices of gold go through the roof, why wouldn't it impact silver as well.... This place Americash is right next to my car dealer, so I stopped in. I have to say I felt kind of important with the offering of drinks, chocolate and all. Way better than the waiting room at the dealership that I had just left. Anyway, I'm giving these folk a top rating because they couldn't have been more informative. With no feeling of pressure, I sold the whole lot for an amount I felt was truly ridiculous. Mom said I should have shopped the number, but I got a good vib here. I actually just made plans with Mom to make my second "run" with her in as many weeks. I'm either getting old or something but either way, the treasure bug should did bite me good. I'll be back.
