Deciding to put my review here as the email I sent to guest services was replied with a link to…read moresend via their website which has yet to have a reply: My appointment was scheduled for 8.2 at 11:45 a.m., and I arrived around 11:30 a.m. I checked in with the receptionist and let her know I understood I was early, so I would wait outside directly in front of the store. When I came back inside at 11:44 a.m., I was informed that the wax specialist was running about 15 minutes behind. I asked if another specialist was available and was told that the other employee had called out, leaving only one wax specialist working that day. This information should have been communicated before my appointment or, at the very least, when I checked in early so I could have decided whether to wait or reschedule. Instead, I waited over 20 minutes before asking for another update. The receptionist apologized and said she wasn't sure what was happening. I explained that I could wait another five minutes, but then I would have to leave to pick up my daughter. A few minutes later, she told me she didn't expect the specialist to be available anytime soon as she had t even heard paper from the wax room that was being used and apologized again. She also offered to have the manager place a $20 credit on my account (didn't happen). I appreciate the receptionist's kindness and the thought of that gesture, as the delay was not her fault. However, the situation could have been handled much better. Everyone's time is valuable, and with my busy schedule, I intentionally arrived early out of consideration for both your staff and my appointment. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated experience. A couple of months ago, when I checked in, the reception area smelled strongly of marijuana. I had continued coming to this location because of the professionalism of my previous wax specialist, but she has since left to another location. Against my better judgment, I returned, and this experience has reinforced my concerns. I hope you will take this feedback seriously. Delays happen, but communication, professionalism, and respect for clients' time are what define a positive customer experience. I encourage you to evaluate the standards and customer service at this location so it better reflects your brand.

I've had a few bad experiences with other wax chains, but once you try Sweet Peach you're guaranteed to be a loyal customer. Their wax is super gentle compared to anywhere else. Also, the environment is clean, warm, and welcoming, and Candy is super bubbly and friendly. Candy finished my Brazilian and underarms in a pain free 20 minutes and left no hairs. This was my first time ever being late. As I was walking in the door, my phone dinged with a $5 no show fee. My aesthetician was standing there and told me that she would not be able to take me because she'd already taken her next appointment back. She said I could come back in three or four hours when she had an opening, but that did not work with my schedule. Their website states that 10 minutes late is a no show- with no mention of how long your appointment was. Sadly, they lost three customers this morning over that five minutes.
