I went to the pharmacy to ask…read moreabout an OTC item, used in conjunction with a medication I have been prescribed & taken for years since leaving the Military. Before I could finish my sentence, while simultaneously showing my prescription, she interrupted and said "No, we don't have those". That's weird because it's a very common item. The Tech gave me the look like she's lying but had to go through with it. She said we have been out of it for over a month. Funny, because my Caucasian neighbor literally went there 2 days prior to me going, and go the same item that they were "magically out of for over a month". This Pharmacist is racist and clearly has a chip on her shoulder. Possibly got an unfair advantage when getting admitted into Pharmacy School ("D"idn't "E"arn "I"t, strikes again) Then, after leaving, I received an email from Walgreens asking "how they did". I surely left as detailed as a response as possible. A few days later, received a phone call from a San Antonio number, who identified himself as the District Manager. This guy seemed like he was just "going through the motions" and didn't actually have sincerity in his responses. Then acted like he magically was surprised. What? There are SEVERAL negative reviews all dedicated to this Pharmacist. Best advice, go to a different pharmacy establishment all together. NOT RECOMMENDED. 1 out of 5 stars.

I nearly dropped when I heard the $50+ price, but their confidence in the product led me to try it. It's worked miracles for me, and I've told so many others that I've lost count. A few weeks later they solved another problem for me with a special formulation of magnesium prescribed by my doctor in a lower dose than I could find elsewhere (including Whole Foods Market). It was just what the doctor had ordered, and I didn't have to split pills and worry if I should have. And, to think I almost didn't go here because I'd sized them up as an overpriced, small town shop. You can pay less, and you can guess at what you need at the big box stores, but there is a value in knowledge and service. As far as pricing goes, I've actually priced the identical products at a holistic pharmacy chain in Austin and found I would've wasted the dollar or so savings in gas alone. Although I don't have any experience with their pharmacy, I understand they compound prescriptions. Last time I tried doing that with their three letter competitor, I got lost in the shuffle somewhere in San Antonio and wound up waiting 5 days for my medication. (This is a co-owned sister to the B&J Pharmacy in San Marcos, so if you're closer to that location, you can feel confident that you'll find the same products and get the same great service as at Wimberley.)

I Was a regular shopper at the HEB in Bastrop. Then I moved to Georgetown and was a regular shopper at the 3 HEBs in Georgetown! While staying in Lockhart, this weekend for a family wedding, I went to the local HEB. It wasn't the HEB, I'm use to shopping at. It was much smaller and older. That part wasn't a big deal, because Lockhart has a smaller population and that store has been in the same location for a long time. I went in to grab some flowers to bring to a local friend of mine, that invited TV (The Villain, my husband Ray) over for a BBQ. I was also going to grab strawberry shortcake fixin's. I went to pick out flowers and half of the selection was wilted. There was a young lady vacuuming the floral section, that clearly saw me waiting to peruse the rest of the flowers. She took her sweet a$$ time vacuuming. I patiently waited. When she was finished, she shot me a snotty irritated look. I'm not sure if she was mad that she had to vacuum or that I patiently waited. This is NOT the customer service I'm use to receiving from HEB! That was the first time I saw an HEB employee unhappy to be working at HEB! I was as confused as a fart in a fan factory! (Personally I've always dreamed of working at an HEB, if Ray aka TV (The Villain) divorces me. I would move myself right back to Texas and work at an HEB) The good news is, this HEB carry's a lot of my favorite HEB products! They carry my Cobb Salad, that I use to eat at least 3 times a week! Their tortilla chips with Sea Salt! Their Ice Cream is to die for!!! Their coffee! I could write a novel about HEB products, but I don't have time. Bottom line; HEB has great prices and products! I've missed you HEB!!!! PS. I would love an HEB t-shirt, I wear a women's size medium SSDGM, Elaine

I have lived in Canyon Lake for several years. Today was…read morethe worst experience I ever had. I broke my foot while on vacation. I went to my GP and ended up with a rx for my pain . The pharmacist was so incredibly rude, refused to fill or transfer my rx to someone else. When I asked why she LIED, said that she called the other two pharmacies in our area and tried to tell me that she found out that I was getting narcotics from all 3 pharmacies in town. Not possible first of all because narcotics go into a database and she would automatically be able to see anywhere that I have not gotten any other narcotics. Also I can't possibly even do that because any doctor can also see that. I believe they are breaking the law on two things. 1. Calling other pharmacies and talking about me I believe breaks HIPPA laws. 2. She is refusing to follow Doctors orders and told me she just doesn't want to do it because she doesn't like me! Also 3 years ago I almost died because they didn't do their job and I was unresponsive and taken to the hospital. That tells me they didn't check for drug interactions! Please please, do not trust them with your life, nor your privacy. Oh, and yes I recorded the call and have her saying she called other pharmacies and talked to them about me. Thank God I have an attorney in the family lol. When karma hits you ma'am, I hope you remember my name and it never leaves your head Edit: so I talked with our attorney in the family and unfortunately it's past the statute of limitations. However what I can do is file a complaint with the Board of Pharmacists and it will stay on her permanent record. I urge anybody else who has had to deal with her abhorrent and unprofessional behavior do the same. The more people that file misconduct or any other complaints to the board of pharmacists the better. This can get her license revoked! And she can no longer put people's lives in danger nor their privacy . This woman's lack of compassion, unethical and irresponsible practices will stop and she will never practice as a pharmacist will stop and nobody will ever have to go through the pain and suffering I have gone through. Actually I'm going to call our family attorney and see if I can sue her for pain and suffering personally. Also I will come back with another edit and leave the link for the Texas board of pharmacists

Missing even one dose can be life-threatening. Due to a storm, the Walgreens location where her prescription was ready was closed, but another nearby Walgreens location was open. I called to ask--very politely--if it would be possible to access her medication at that store so she would not miss a dose. The employee who answered the phone, named Arlene, was shockingly rude and dismissive. After briefly explaining she would have to contact the other pharmacis, she rudely stated, "I don't get paid enough for this," and then hung up on me. This was not a minor inconvenience or a casual question. This involved a child's life-saving medication. The lack of professionalism, empathy, and concern for patient safety was alarming. I was left extremely distressed and shaken by the interaction. I understand that pharmacies can be busy and that policies exist, but no parent advocating for their medically fragile child should ever be treated this way--especially by someone working in a healthcare setting. I hope Walgreens takes this seriously and ensures better training and accountability. No family should have to experience this while trying to protect their child's health.
