I've attended many seminars and trainings from well-known speakers and coaches over the years, but Tim's approach is different. It wasn't just coaching--it felt like real healing. Instead of seeing them as burdens, he helped me realize they were actually part of what shaped me into the person I am today. For the first time, I felt genuine gratitude for experiences I had spent years wishing never happened. That shift alone was incredibly powerful. I left the session feeling lighter, more at peace, and more hopeful about the future. I'm genuinely excited for my next session and to continue this journey of growth and healing. Re: coronavirus and severe asthma: "We all need to work together to slow the spread of the new coronavirus. If you're having trouble wearing a mask, try a different fabric or fit. Wearing some kind of breathable face covering is better than nothing. According to the WHO, medical masks when worn the right way do not cause you to breathe in more carbon dioxide or reduce your oxygen levels." So it won't reduce your oxygen intake but will somehow give you more asthma? For the record I HAVE SEVERE ASTHMA AND WEAR A MASK. This is what was so confounding to me. Somehow Miriam thinks it's ok that patients are breathing in her lobby with no masks, and that she should do talk therapy for hours with no face covering. Face shield will work too. From my very first conversation with Dr. Nicole, she made me feel comfortable. She took the time to tell me about herself, asked thoughtful questions about my daughters, and really wanted to understand their personalities and needs. What I appreciated most was how personal and collaborative the process felt. She took the time to get to know both me and my girls, and we worked together throughout their journey. I could share things going on in their lives that might help guide conversations during sessions, and she was always supportive and understanding. She was also incredibly flexible and helpful with our constantly changing schedules. Most importantly, both of my daughters genuinely enjoy their sessions with her and feel connected and comfortable talking with her. I'm so grateful that she has been a safe and open door for them as they've grown up -- especially through big milestones like one of them graduating. I've truly been able to see positive emotional growth and maturity in both of them. As an added bonus, she was able to work with our Kaiser insurance, which made the process even easier for our family. I highly recommend Dr. Nicole to any parent looking for someone caring, personable, and genuinely invested in helping kids thrive.
