At first you think what a quaint shop, until you meet the owner!…read moreNo greeting, no smile, no customer service! I witnessed it as every customer walked in. I have been in this establishment several times liking the decor, hoping the experience would be improved, unfortunately it has not changed. I brought in a friend who had not been in before who had made a small purchase, and we were treated rudely. If zero stars were made available, I would have chosen that option. There are several other lovely stores in Nye Beach everyone should explore. After giving this establishment several chances, I am disappointed in the result. I do not feel welcomed, and will not return to Charisma Gifts.

This isn't a store for all as some of the items may turn a stomach or two. Lots of antique and vintage skulls, sculptures, lots of Victorian period items, weird medical devices that were used somewhere at sometime. My mouth did drop open a time or two while browsing. I understand that they make their own candles which made the store smell delightful. Pricing is fair for most items. I did end up with a couple of prized possessions. I saw that they perform tarot readings in the back of the store for a fee. Service was friendly and helpful. If I lived here I know I would probably be a regular shopper here.

She informed me that all the products sold at her store are all homemade!! Wow! What a treat! No chemicals! I was very impressed. She showed me one product that seemed to be the stores number one seller, The Pedi Bars. Homemade with a list of beautiful simple ingredients, with a piece of sea loofah in the core of the bar! They come in TONS of scents as well!!! I purchased only one.....(because I'm Cautious.. With my sensitive skin...and because sometimes fragrances give me migraines) and I also purchased one body butter 2oz jar, in the scent of Banana Coconut Smoothie. AMAZING scent!!!!! Very sugary sweet and tropical. Total for my two products: $10.45. (What a deal) After a long day sight seeing and walking a long way back to our hotel, I was tired and ready for bed. My partner and I were walking around the store with about 8 other patrons and we noticed that three different customers tried to interact with the owner (?), a man who was searching on his phone the whole time. Two ladies were trying to talk to him about the store pup, while another guy was trying to make chit-chat and both either received a few grumbles or an inaudible response. He didn't ever look up from his phone. This type of service bums us out and we decided to return our handfuls of specimens that we carefully picked out while walking through their well-stocked store.
