It was one of a few stores open before 10 so it was nice to peruse. I found The Sisters Company peach chips here that were so delicious I wish I got more! Surprisingly this was one of a few locations that sell this brand and I only realized that I wanted to get more when I was in Bend. Sadly there was nothing close to Bend worth the drive. The prices of items in the store were relatively touristy. I only interacted with the person behind the register when I paid. Very quiet early in the morning so parking was plentiful and not too many people on the street.

Customer service. Very rude when trying to exchange an item. Couldn't look up the transaction in…read moretheir system they said they didn't have access. Had to have a receipt. Not posted anywhere that a receipt is required for an exchange. They threatened to call the cops on us!!! When we were questioning them about the policy, where was it posted, etc. the tags were still on the garment! They were raising their voices, not us. No manager available, assist looked like about 17.

This isn't a store for all as some of the items may turn a stomach or two. Lots of antique and vintage skulls, sculptures, lots of Victorian period items, weird medical devices that were used somewhere at sometime. My mouth did drop open a time or two while browsing. I understand that they make their own candles which made the store smell delightful. Pricing is fair for most items. I did end up with a couple of prized possessions. I saw that they perform tarot readings in the back of the store for a fee. Service was friendly and helpful. If I lived here I know I would probably be a regular shopper here.

Nope Blake's Coastal Nursery does not carry carnivorous plants but it's still an amazing nursery. Obviously the chickens will always be my favorite! I took a picture of this really beautiful woman sitting by the fountain. She really made the picture better. Everyone is friendly and how cool is it to visit a farmers market right off highway 101?! We stopped by around 2pm and it was fairly busy, but not too crowded, though it was an hour or so before the end. We saw cool geodes, foraged mushrooms, a cute lil' bakery, a produce seller with fresh strawberries and peaches, creative art prints, and a vegan food truck among other vendors. It takes place on Sundays and if you are spending some time on the beach, you might as well see what treasures you can procure at the farmer's market, too!

An eclectic selection of produce and goods. Pretty small market, maybe 30 vendors. One vendor that was a standout was the bakery. By the time we got there around 11 they were mostly sold out - good for them. This is clearly a go-to vendor for the market and the locals know about it. A couple of great produce vendors, we bought some wonderful tomatoes and blackberries from one of the vendors and were very happy with them. There a couple of food carts, mexican and a breakfast place, both looked pretty promising. Jewelry, woven baskets, re-purposed clothing, all worth a look. A couple of weird booths, one with non-authentic indian artifacts and a place selling some special glass cleaning product ala "as-seen on TV" type of product. If you are passing through, get there early to try the baked goods and score some produce for your road trip.

We discovered that if your size isn't on display, the employees will happily go look in the back stock. They want that sale and will work for it with a smile ta boot. If they don't have your size they feel bad they couldn't help you. The first time it happened, it was adorable. Months later and another employee, the lady was telling us about what they ordered and the time and day they're expecting their next delivery and how the driver has been delivering to them for a couple year's now and how reliable he is. I almost wanted to ask if the driver wanted to come over for Christmas. I felt like I was getting to know this drver I never met. That's how friendly they are here. One of the reasons we've been shopping here year after year. We'll sometimes be on our way to another town. Just driving through Depot Bay, Oregon with no thoughts of stopping for anything and then we're looking at Hoodies.
