The atmosphere is exactly what you'd hope for, relaxed, lively, and filled with people enjoying the sunshine, good company, and free live music. Plenty of umbrella-covered tables provide welcome shade while you soak in the waterfront views. The staff was friendly, upbeat, and attentive, adding to the easygoing vibe.
We decided to make it a finger-food feast, and every basket that hit the table looked better than the last. The onion rings arrived beautifully golden with a light, airy batter that shattered with every bite, accompanied by both ranch and barbecue sauces for dipping. The nachos were a showstopper. Built sky-high with seasoned ground beef, a generous blend of cheeses, fresh pico de gallo, jalapeños, olives, onions, sour cream, and guacamole, every chip was loaded with flavor. This isn't a plate meant for one person, it's made for friends to gather around. Just don't wait too long, because like all great nachos, the race is on before those bottom chips get soft and surrender to all that cheesy goodness. The appetizer sampler was another winner, piled high with crispy chicken strips, crunchy flautas, fries, chips & cheese and even more onion rings. Everything arrived piping hot, perfectly crisp, and cooked exactly as it should be. Every bite offered something different, making it the perfect platter to share over a couple of cold beers. To finish, we shared the shredded chicken quesadilla, grilled until beautifully golden with just the right amount of char. The tortilla was crisp on the outside, while the seasoned shredded chicken and melted cheese created a rich, satisfying filling. Paired with fresh guacamole and cool sour cream, it was simple comfort food done right.
This isn't the place for fine dining, and that's exactly its charm. It's where you come to dock the boat, order an ice-cold beer, share baskets of delicious comfort food, tap your foot to live music, and watch the boats come and go. Sometimes that's exactly the recipe for a perfect day on the water... and this place delivers it beautifully. Overall: A must-stop when you're out enjoying a day on the Delta. Just save room for the onion rings, they're worth the trip all by themselves.
