As a Canadian who experienced the Target disappointment a few years ago (they came in, bombed hard…read moreand closed within a year), I HAD to make my way into a Target US. Now this was more of an experience I was hoping for. For many of my American friends, they tend to rate this specific store "standard fare" well it may be standard for them but for me the selection and pricing was fab! Lots of things to find, if you have the mind to search for it all. Shelves were often bare which made you think if they actively worked to make sure they replenished stock quickly enough. Spending time here allowed us to find quite a few neat things, for sure! There was a staffer working with a leg cast, to which I had to shake my head at. Good ol' American health care system. No express lane, which is dumb given it's 2019 and sometimes folks just need 1-2 things and should have to wait behind folks with full carts.

Needless to say, it's really put things into perspective for me and I now love this family dollar just for not being that ugly dollar general. besides that, i've always had good experiences in the past with this store. Employees are always friendly and prices are good.

Agreeable old school department store of the small town type you rarely find anymore, which has…read moremostly pivoted to a visitor-oriented souvenir store, but not entirely. They still have work clothes, for instance, along with a gazillion sweatshirts and hats. The front is gift-style merchandise, the larger rear mostly clothing, and in season there's an outside section with beach toys, camping supplies, fishing gear, and seasonal items. Everything's marked up a bit of course but not too much.

With no fabric store within 50 miles, they took out most of the fabric, leaving a few remnants and the rest prepackaged yards. They no longer carry fleece, and they don't even carry felt squares. Many other items I used to buy have been removed from the store as well, so finding what I am looking for has become much more difficult across the board. PS - the staff has been doing their best, I'm sure they have been receiving a lot of complaints like mine. I surely hope things improve when this is all over!

They have a ton of great sales all year long & the store is fairly well organized with sections…read morekept pretty clean & in order. I stopped in during Memorial Day weekend & discovered the HUGE clearance section they have. I got so much stuff for less than $30 - 5 long sleeves, 3 T-shirts, a blouse, & a pair of athletic shorts. The lady working the register was so nice & even helped me out with some additional savings by offering a coupon she had at the register. This store has been rearranged a bit; I came here years ago when I was growing up in the area & the juniors section is now the underwear section, the shoe section has shrunk to make room for the massive clearance section, and there's a decent sized Sephora in there now. So you might have to wander a bit to find what you're looking for, but there'll be plenty of sales as you do wander.
