Everything was picked up and delivered on time,but a couple of our Items were unable to be assembled because the screws and bolts were not packaged and shipped along with the rest of the items. The folks who dropped off we're supposed to follow up with us about this, but we ended up getting called by the company and having to fill out a claim form, still being processed now. The physical movers that showed up at our house were very friendly and helpful. They packed very efficiently and made almost everything fit. Again, most of the process ran smooth with just a couple of bumps in the road so I'd recommend using them just be careful with assembled items and make sure they are documented and accounted for.

We are disappointed about the time and damaged furniture, because we went off their stellar reviews. UPDATE: When we went down to the basement, we noticed they put boxes labeled KITCHEN meant for the kitchen. We paid movers to make it easier, not harder and with damaged property on top of it. Because the owner cannot separate emotions from business and favors an employee based on relations. We were hoping they would honor a refund and replace our fireplace. We discovered more damaged furniture, including a very expensive curio. They also left garbage in a closet upstairs, when we paid for removal after moving our furniture. They also left pots in the front of the house. Very disappointed that we paid $1300 for a bad job. UPDATE: Our expensive $1500 dollar table is knicked on one of the chair leg. After moving our move out day a week they still were unable to provide us with packers and movers. On top of everything they were sitting on our contract instead of sending it back to military after they openly admitted they did not have anyone to provide the service. It took many hours sitting in offices and $300 due to having to extend our move out date AGAIN, and the military taking them off our contract to find us the needed services. They took up all of our wiggle room and waited till the final hour to do anything. I will say even though I felt as if nothing was done for our contract they always answered the phone and remained pleasant during all conversations.

We had a pack date of early June and these guys MISSED THE PACK, LOAD AND DELIVERY DATE. I waited an additional two weeks with no word. So, I ended up calling Art Paul (AP) many times on my own initiative only to hear many excuses about how they were "calling people to get a mover there for me." But, never did I hear a word about who they were calling or what they were trying to do. When given the option of getting movers who were available to move us to my house from outside a 100 mile radius, they responded with "that would cost us more." Only when threatened by Transportation (military) that they needed to do something or lose their contract with the military for 30 day did they act. AMAZINGLY, they then solved my problem in two hours. Once they had a date down to avoid being penalized by military contracting, AP then failed to show up once again and do a pre-inspection. They FAILED TO CALL ME with news on delivery date and continuously gave excuses as to things being "out of" their control. Meaning, BAD MANAGEMENT and planning on their part. In total, AP Moving and Storage wasted over one month of our family's vacation time and caused us to plan and re-plan our move as well as wait three weeks with no news. With Art Paul, it's about money not about you. My advice...if Art Paul Moving and Storage takes your contract, run the other way.
