This is the first time my experience was AWFUL! I will never be back to this location again. I actually may never use Discount tire again after the experience I had here on Friday. And No! I did not even call to let them know about my unfortunate experience. I had a tire that continued to drop low in pressure so I took it in to have that particular tire fixed. I called around one in the afternoon to see if they were busy and I was told they were not too busy and could get my car done, but I would need to drop it off. I showed up during a break from my shift at work. When I got there, I was the only one waiting to be acknowledged. There were three men helping one person and one guy continued to keep telling me they will be with me soon. After about 10 minutes, a guy walked out with me to check my tire after checking all four he decided that the two back tires needed to be completely replaced which I let him know. I just bought the car in March and it is still under warranty. I just did not have the time to take it to the dealership that day, I needed a quick fix but He still continued to try to sell me tires. I told him if he wants to he could call the dealership and see but I knew that is not the way that worked so when I came back to pick the car up, they just gave me the key. They told me absolutely nothing about what they had done to the tire, but I just figured that they repaired it. When I left from the Discount Tire , I was actually leaving back home to Phoenix. I was only in Tucson working for the week as I let them know. I work as a hairstylist and if you know what that work is like on your body, your mind and your pockets then you know it's a rough life and you must work very hard to make enough to survive in our economy today. I unfortunately forgot and left tip money in the middle council of my car when I dropped my car to this discount tire location. As I was driving down the freeway, I remembered that I had done that so I checked my middle council and of course they had stolen money out of my car. Not all of it was gone, but about half of my tip money for that week was taken out and no one had been in my car except for myself besides the employees at discount tire. As I have said, I am actually too livid to even call as I know by fact, someone there had to steal from my car. All I can say is that you reap what you sew and they may have lost a lifetime Customer not that it matters to them with the many customers they have, but I hope no one else has to go through this experience. read more

I waited 40 minutes got zero help until I said forget to leave then all of the sudden they doesn't to lose my 500 but they didn't want to help me. Let's start off saying if I could give a negative star rating I would. Had a low tire. Purchased said tire from this location last year almost to the date. They supposedly fixed it and I replaced 2 other tires during this transaction. Was told to watch the app for updates. After several hours of the app not updating at all, I went back to the shop. My car was ready and waiting. Nobody gave me any updates or paperwork for the work that was done and paid for. Absolutely no excuse. I'm a several time repeat customer. I went to them last month because of their prices and customer service, I set up an appointment today, I arrived half and hour early. Let me tell you I don't really complain about service, but today...today was a day that I am thinking of taking my business somewhere else, I waited for about 2 hours amd saw people tjat walked in and left before me, I asked them what was happening, but I understood it gets busy but come on, just pushing back and say 20 min 30 minutes ago, plus I had to be somewhere else around 3. I didn't get out of there until 3:15, I really thought they were organized and cared about their customers, but honestly they only care about the new walk in that make them the big bucks not retaining the ones who have a flat tire, on top of that even with the tires having only been 1 month in were already balding. On Saturday night at 4:58pm May 24 2015, I pulled in because I had just happen to check my tire pressure. The fact I am headed out back to Texas on Monday is the only reason I pulled in so close to close. I know that yall are closed on Sunday and Monday. The Asst Manager Jacob met me at the truck and quickly told a part timer to grab my keys with a left rear repair. I didn't even have to explain situation to Jacob. I always love coming to discount tires. I get my air checked whenever I remember. Today they reminded me to have my tires checked once a month. I also learned that they now change windshield wipers, which is a completely new service. They noticed that I needed all three of my wipers changed, and I had it done within about 10 minutes. So I recommend you all to get your windshield wipers changed while you're there getting done your tires. Robb was great. read more

How can I NOT give them five stars?? Discount Tire pulled a screw out of my tire and patched it up good as new for FREE. Their staff is super friendly and helpful and the whole experience was positive. I waited about an hour as I stopped by near closing time and they were busy! I didn't mind the wait since I was getting a free service that other places would charge at least $20 for. You don't have to stay in their waiting room if you don't want to as you can opt to receive a text when your vehicle is ready. I honestly couldn't be happier and will definitely return again should the need arise. read more

Purchased 4 new tires for 400 from cesar.. he quoted me 375 for 3 tires and then gave me 4 for 20 dollars more to make the sale he said he wanted to see me safe. 2 weeks later i get a nail in my tire and need a new donut. Cesar and his team told me to purchase a whole new tire for 200 because it would be cheaper and faster than a donut and i would need to go through the dealership. They sensed my desperation and i paid but after realized they lie and say there are no discounts but they can clearly change the prices of things to fit their bottom line and not yours! Bought 4 new tires 2/18/25 at Oracle/Prince location. Twice in last few yrs they've stripped lug nut and I was sent across street to Brake Masters for repair. Mistakes happen, and was willing to be inconvenienced first time. When it happened again, I asked Jesus (manager) to pls flag my file to avoid happening again. Said he couldn't do that, and said it was probably due to age of my vehicle (debris). 1.5 hrs waiting at Brake Masters for lug nut to be delivered from nearby auto parts store, I had to cancel one appt, and very close to canceling next appt. Called Jesus and asked for someone to go to parts store to pick up, and he said no one was available for another 1.5 hrs. How's that for customer service and dealing with their own repetitive problem? I (sarcastically) replied, "Thank you very much for your help, Jesus", and hung up. He called back, sent someone to get part and I was out of there in 20 mins. Additionally, I found out from Brake Masters' employee this happens VERY frequently (from Discount Tires), and it doesn't matter the age of vehicle. I'm giving them 2 stars because Jesus did get the part. I certainly hope he (or another manager) follows up re WHY this is happening. read more

One name, ROBB!! Best of the best! I went in today just to get a quote for 2 tires and expressed to Robb that I'm on a tight budget. He went out to look at the condition of my tires and at that point I embarrassingly warned him of the severe state they were in. For context, I bought my car in April 22' which was on the dealer's lot for purchase 'as is'. When I got the carfax, it was brought to my attention that my car only had one previous owner. The car was bought brand new by that previous owner and everything on the car was stock...in 2023...aka the tires on my car were 11yr old tires absolutely bald and rotting. When Robb came back into the store he was stunned and said yeah, you're getting all 4 new tires today. $400. It'll be done in 2hrs. I was floored. Robb didn't care about making a sale or selling me the best tires on the market, up selling me, NOTHING. Robb cared about my safety. He cared that I don't spend another day on the road with bald tires. He cared that I don't have a dangerous tire blow out. My safety was his first priority.
