I had a great experience at Discount Tire during a cross-country road trip. I stopped in for a free tire pressure and tire check, and Assistant Manager Peyton Guinn provided exceptional service. Even though there were several cars in line, Peyton remained pleasant, positive, and professional. The service was quick and efficient, and he took the time to make sure everything was checked and ready for the road. What stood out most was his friendly attitude--there was no sense of stress or rushing despite how busy they were. It's refreshing to encounter someone who genuinely enjoys helping customers. Peyton's assistance gave me peace of mind as I continued my journey, and I truly appreciated the care and excellent customer service. Thank you, Peyton and the Discount Tire team, for helping make my travels safer and smoother! read more

The employees here are very accommodating and caring.I came in towed with a flat the tires were mostly shotso i need new ones. I had 2 broken studs on the pass rear wheel they didnt break them they were like that already, they wanted to get them fixed so they sent me to golden rule break on Monroe cause they could get me in right away and fix it. Discount Tire also said they will pay for the repair even though it's not there fault. The employee helping me is very nice his name is Christian super great helpful guy. I recommend this shop to anyone. I have been going here for years getting tires for all my trucks. They have always treated me good. read more

Upgrade. The tire I paid for and ordered didn't make it in before my appointment so they called me before my appointment to offer me what the had in stock for the same price. These tires are a significant upgrade from what I ordered. Outstanding service. In and out in less than a half hour. I've been using them for 20 years. Best prices and service in Spokane. read more

2years later and multiple visits in that time since my last review. I've bought multiple tire set with road hazard warrantees from this store. If you can get in the service is ok. Visited again today to get a tire flat fixed with my paid road hazard warranty and was told the next available appointment was in three weeks or if I wanted to wait 6 hrs and they will fit me in. While I was in line I witnessed multiple people just walk out (them turning away business) saying yes we can do this and that it will just take min of six hours to get to you and the next available appointment is in 20 days or so. What is wrong with management/owners to not get more help /another store or something to fix this. Not an isolated incident. Sad, it's not rocket science to sale/fix tires and plenty of business. Seems like something is still broken here. read more

I was in Spokane for a couple days and found myself here after picking up a screw in my tire and it was losing pressure. I was a walk-in an hour after opening and they had me fixed up when promised. Much appreciated! This is the service I know from being a repeat customer for over a decade (but closer to home). The good experience stopped there. I heard 3 different stories about my tire tread and one included an incredibly hard sell on choosing a set of new tires on the spot. What?!? It was absolutely insane. I realize they weren't making any money off the screw removal but this is a service they offer. However I declined countless times and the employee would not take no for an answer! I couldn't believe it! It was such a hard sell that I was convinced he was lying to make the sale. Definitely not and my tires are only 2 years old and from DT, which I showed proof! Unreal. But I had also been sitting there long enough to hear others walk in and told their vehicles would be ready around 4 or 5pm that day. When I told him I refuse to spend my one full day in Spokane at the the tire shop, his response was he could get me out in 30 minutes if I chose a set of tires on the spot they had in stock. NOPE. And how come nobody else was offered such a fast turnaround? The whole experience left a bad taste to say the least. The 3rd person who handed me my keys told me my tires had no tread left after I told him not to sell me on a set of tires that day. I get sales goals etc. but at least get your employees all on the same page and if someone says no, accept it! Don't argue and waste their time! read more

Not super happy with my tire purchase for a few different reasons. Staff were friendly, but wish I came more prepared to deal with a greedy, non-transparent business. #1 I was charged $75.80 for inflation, there was no mention of this fee and no transparency about it. Had to figure it out on my own after being charged, noticing the amount seemed off, and looking at the receipt. Feels a bit steep to me for air and am upset it wasn't mentioned - wish I could get a refund. #2 For being a tire shop, they didn't seem to have tires in stock. There were three other tires I preferred, per their online shop & that were at a lower "discount" price, but supposedly none of those were in stock at this location so they sold me on more expensive ones. #3 I can understand the last point with low stock, but then on top of that, I also received tires that are one year old. I've never in the past received anything older then 6 months. I feel like this should have also been mentioned ahead of time or marked down on the price for older "new" tires - feels a bit scummy to me. So basically I paid more for tires I didn't want and that were old. #4 I made an appointment and it still took over an hour, there were only a couple cars being worked on upon arrival. Appointments are supposed to be quick & shouldn't take over an hour. This point isn't the worst, but stacked with everything else...come on. Overall, feel pretty disappointed about the transaction, especially for such a large transaction that took over 60% of my paycheck. I am far from being a "Karen," but wanted to share my honest experience here for others so they aren't shocked during their visit. Maybe I'm wrong, or maybe I deserve a refund? Either way will come more prepared with more emotional strength next time so I don't get robbed. Feel like this shouldn't be my job though and the business should just be honest & look out for their customers? Does this not exist anymore? From a customer who feels a bit taken advantage of. read more

I got an appointment to have my tires rotated and I was told it would be at least 1&1/2hours! That seems excessive to me. I'll seriously consider if I buy tires here again. read more

I recently bought my 98 Ranger in, and my only complaint is that you can't set an appointment unless you pay upfront. The tires I wanted (14's are hard to find) were in stock at the Valley store with 7+ around 5:30 pm, with a few at the Division store. By 7 pm, they were out of stock. I took my truck into the Valley store and they got me hooked up with 4 brand new tires for about $50 more than the other tires. No big. My mom was grumbling about how if we buy the tires there they should install, mount, balance and everything else for free. I was trying to explain to her that not is not how things worked anymore she's insisting that every tire place is like that and the woman hasn't even owned a car in 25 years. The guy helping us was awesome, he didn't let my mother's Karenicity affect him, he gave me a discount on the tire insurance and made sure that even though the tires I got were a different size than the old, they were much better, with much better insurance without the optional insurance and not much more expensive. I appreciate that more than he'll ever know. They were fast, I dropped my truck off around 11:30 am, my mom and I walked a block to a cafe and had lunch, and within 20 minutes of being back, they were done. And that was with them having to remount and balance everything because the tire I wanted saved as the spare got mixed up. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this store. Super friendly, helpful, you didn't try to take advantage of me because I'm a woman. And even after my mom acted like Karen the guy that was helping us was still extremely extremely friendly helpful he let it roll right off his back. Give him a raise please. read more

We got an amazing price at Discount Tire. It was the height of the winter season when we needed new tires. We couldn't get an appointment, but were able to be serviced. The only down side was that we had to show up right at opening. I'm sure if we got in earlier in the season, we could have made an appointment. read more

Had to do a walk in today because I had a bubble in one of my tires. Great customer service and was upfront that it might take a while because they had a busy morning and I didn't have an appointment. Appreciated that instead of them saying it will be about an hour and then it take 3. Allowed you to drive your car in their garage because of all the safety precautions. Hopefully won't be back since I'm not from here, but definitely recommend if you need new tires and are in the area. read more

I've had two incidences now with the Sprague store. My first incident was with my Durango. I ordered four all season tires. They said it would take a week to get there. I didn't get my tires on my car till a month and a half later because they don't have their shit together, now my second incident is I recently ordered four studded snow tires. The guy at the counter told me they don't come studded and they will have to stud them and it'll take an hour, that phone call was at 9 AM. I waited till 1020 to show up plenty of time to stud the tires and when I was there at 10:20 they told me the tires were not studded yet that it would take about an hour to do and they would call me when it's done now they're closed and my tires are still not studded. For somebody that was just hiring last year y'all need to get your act together. read more

Came in to have a simple flat repair fixed. Upon further inspection there was no evidence the store had removed the tire to have the beads cleaned or tire sealer applied after they said they had done that very thing. Tire was not over ten years old, tread was over 2/32 of depth. Discount tire falsified information and I am an extremely unsatisfied customer. I will never recommend this company to anyone. read more

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I can't give enough credit to these guys for keeping it cool when it's a snowstorm outside and everyone in town wants snow tires put on at the same time. 100% will be back. read more

We have used Discount Tire for years, ever since they helped my wife with a flat tire for free. They have become our go to tire shop. Friendly service and good prices along with tires including free flat repair and lifetime balance and rotation. We have used this specific location for the past 8+ years and have always had a positive experience. Even when they accidentally stripped a lug nut years ago they made it right. (It was a weird vehicle and easy to do, so I understood) They called and said that it happened and that they would pay to have it fixed. They could have hidden it, but they didn't. I know accidents happen, but Discount Tire went above and beyond to make it right. Integrity, price and service have made us loyal customers. read more

I broke off one of my valve stems that was metal. Headed to Discount Tire and they put on new plastic valve stems that wouldn't rust. I had issues with more tire light and that was because I had a few sensors with 15-18 year old batteries and some wouldn't communicate. I worked with Del and he went above and beyond on my tires; went the extra mile. I will definitely go back here for future tire needs. read more

Employee Spokane-Valley: Scott .B I dont fell like I got the best Honest service I spent $800 in the store for brand new tires for 24" rims an my boyfriend hes military I wasn't able to get the military discount and then when I purchased the tires I asked if they had the capability of putting them on the new tires on my rims they told me they didn't have the capability... They didn't even tell me that they had another location on the North side where I actually live closer too that actually can put my tires on my rims.. I feel like he was more concern about making a sale ...... then to actually take time to do customer service and treat me like a valuable customer he was more concerned about me spending my money then to actually help me with what I desire money was not an issue for what I was looking for..... I feel he was being lazy tours the company and not only that when I could have just went to the other store and got everything done without having to drive all the way to The Valley multiple times wasting my gas Or have to transfer all these tires and rims all the way to the North side. I'm about to purchasing for my boyfriend new tires and rims that it's costing me $2000 from the North location Discount Tire and Im very pleased with there 1# service I don't feel I got the best service at the Valley location.... So if you want true quality service go to the North location Discount Tire and make sure you ask for Chris or Jordan there best . read more

This is a great location in Spokane. Put the address in the GPS to prevent getting lost since you have to travel through random neighborhood streets. We've come here often for are checks and the staff is always nice and very quick to finish the job. I am usually out within an hour if I just walk in. Better to make an appointment ahead of time if possible. This location is very clean and they offer a mini fridge that has water stocked. They also have coffee available. read more

Tried calling and no one picked up. For over 15 minutes I sat on hold. The line would ring like someone was going to pick up but then it went back into the hold music. The service here is not good. read more

Service is terrible at this location. I came for a simple air check, waited for over 15 minutes and not a single employee acknowledged me. I have bought many sets of tires with another location and the service was great. But this location has terrible service. I always get told it's at least two hours to get a tire rot even if they only have a couple vehicles in the lot. could really use more people that can do the job or send them to another state to get trained. I've gone to stores in Wisconsin that have multiple cars in the lot and more than two bays in use and they get it done in under 40 minutes every time. Valley store is pretty much the same, called them and was told I would be waiting all day. Definitely would not recommend either of these stores for anyone that wants actual customer service. Guess you have to go outta state for this stuff too. read more

I had an appointment for a flat repair. I am told that they cannot repair my tire because it is at 2 32nds and said I need to buy new tires. Interesting since the dealership had VERY recently told us that they were at 5 32nds. So.... Feeling that they were not being honest with me, I took the car to Les Schwab to see what they would say. Les Schwab fixed the tire for me free of charge and it was done in less than 30 minutes with no appointment. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Discount tire. Seems they are just trying to gets sales and not focused on taking care of their customers. read more

I have called multiple days at both the valley and the north store. Never did I speak to a person on the phone. I listed to the automated message for over 40 minutes at both stores. Not once did anyone ever answer the phone. I just needed to speak to a live person because I was not able to complete my purchase and schedule my appointment online. I realize this is the busy season and they are probably short staffed, but not have ANYONE answer the phone is bad customer service. read more

I will never use this place again. I ordered tires online and scheduled an appointment. Showed up to my appointment and they waited a half hour to tell me they didn't have my tires. It took a week before my tires came in and then no one even bothered to call me. when i called and found out my tires where there i showed up to and after another half hour they told me that they had refunded the money. After an obscene waste of my time, i will never ever go back to these underqualified tire guys. Absolutely absurd customer service and i never got the tires i purchased online. *** Stay away from Discount Tire if you like your car *** I bought new wheels/tires for my 1991 Miata (with 75k miles on it) from Discount Tires online, and took them in to be installed at the Discount Tire in the valley on July 3rd. They were able to get them installed that day. I told them beforehand to set my old rims aside and to not put them in my car, they confirmed they'd set the old rims aside. I even showed up with a someone else in a truck to drop off my new tires/rims for my Miata - the guy that confirmed the old rims would be set aside even helped us take the new tires/rims to the install area, so he saw the truck that would take the old rims home. When I went to pick up my tiny Miata, they had two rims inside (both without bags) - one directly on the seat, making it dirty - I'm surprised it didn't rip the seat fabric. They had the other two jammed into the trunk (again without bags) - I had to push down hard on the trunk to get it to open. Those wheels severely scratched the inside of the trunk lid, and damaged the closing mechanism - making it difficult to open/close the trunk. I talked with the manager. They offered to have me take time out of my day to take my car into a detailer and they'd reimburse me to have the one seat cleaned. Stay away from Discount Tire if you like your car! read more

This is my second review of this store, inside a week, they seem to have no idea how to pick up a phone or give good customer service, which means picking up the phone and letting a person know they are not forgotten or ignored. Even though they have a automated phone msg, telling you it's a longer than normal wait, I believe 20 minutes with no one answering is out right rude on their part. read more

This place is a joke. Scheduled a tire rotation 1week in advance it took them a total of 45 minutes.

I actually did all my shopping for tires and rims on their website and had them delivered to the store. The wait time with an appointment was very reasonable considering the installation I had done. Only problem was they forgot to pair the new TPMS sensors with the new rims. When i was there to have the lug nuts retorqued today they quickly paired them up and apologized. read more

My wife and I travel full-time and I made this appointment today to have our travel trailer tires replaced. I knew nothing of this particular location but have used DT all across the southwest and knew I was in their system. I can't say enough good things about Del, Kelsin and Tyson - 3 great guys who worked hard to make our experience a positive one. Our trailer is our home so I was a little nervous about their level of expertise changing out trailer tires. No worries whatsoever! I would highly recommend this particular store to anyone traveling I-90 with recreational vehicle needs! Del has his own 36 foot 5th wheel so he understood the need to get it done right. Thanks guys! read more

Why review a tire shop? Aren't they all about the same? Heck no! Discount Tire has taken care of me across multiple years and multiple states. I've sadly used some other tire stores, and won't go back. I'm a Discount Tire girl for life. So, what makes discount tire so great? Well, first, they have excellent selection. They have always had the tires I want in stock, and tires I didn't know I wanted available. The store is always clean and they have coffee and chairs if you wait for your service to be complete. To the point about tires I didn't know I wanted, enter Miles. Aside from the fact that his name is a great tire pun, Miles has taken such good care of me and my husband. Even during the crazy snow days, he took the time to listen to what we needed and wanted and actually gave us great recommendations within and below our budget. We have returned to his care multiple times and he has offered consistently great and knowledgeable service. Thank you, Miles. And thank you Discount Tire for the unlimited air pressure checks and adjustments, tire patches, and great guarantees. It's rare to find a business that continues to treat customers like lifelong business partners. read more
