2years later and multiple visits in that time since my last review. I've bought multiple tire set with road hazard warrantees from this store. If you can get in the service is ok. Visited again today to get a tire flat fixed with my paid road hazard warranty and was told the next available appointment was in three weeks or if I wanted to wait 6 hrs and they will fit me in. While I was in line I witnessed multiple people just walk out (them turning away business) saying yes we can do this and that it will just take min of six hours to get to you and the next available appointment is in 20 days or so. What is wrong with management/owners to not get more help /another store or something to fix this. Not an isolated incident. Sad, it's not rocket science to sale/fix tires and plenty of business. I was in Spokane for a couple days and found myself here after picking up a screw in my tire and it was losing pressure. I was a walk-in an hour after opening and they had me fixed up when promised. Much appreciated! This is the service I know from being a repeat customer for over a decade (but closer to home). The good experience stopped there. I heard 3 different stories about my tire tread and one included an incredibly hard sell on choosing a set of new tires on the spot. What?!? It was absolutely insane. I realize they weren't making any money off the screw removal but this is a service they offer. However I declined countless times and the employee would not take no for an answer! I couldn't believe it! It was such a hard sell that I was convinced he was lying to make the sale. Definitely not and my tires are only 2 years old and from DT, which I showed proof! Unreal. But I had also been sitting there long enough to hear others walk in and told their vehicles would be ready around 4 or 5pm that day. When I told him I refuse to spend my one full day in Spokane at the the tire shop, his response was he could get me out in 30 minutes if I chose a set of tires on the spot they had in stock. NOPE. And how come nobody else was offered such a fast turnaround? The whole experience left a bad taste to say the least. The 3rd person who handed me my keys told me my tires had no tread left after I told him not to sell me on a set of tires that day. I get sales goals etc. but at least get your employees all on the same page and if someone says no, accept it! Don't argue and waste their time! read more

Not super happy with my tire purchase for a few different reasons. Staff were friendly, but wish I came more prepared to deal with a greedy, non-transparent business. #1 I was charged $75.80 for inflation, there was no mention of this fee and no transparency about it. Had to figure it out on my own after being charged, noticing the amount seemed off, and looking at the receipt. Feels a bit steep to me for air and am upset it wasn't mentioned - wish I could get a refund. #2 For being a tire shop, they didn't seem to have tires in stock. There were three other tires I preferred, per their online shop & that were at a lower "discount" price, but supposedly none of those were in stock at this location so they sold me on more expensive ones. #3 I can understand the last point with low stock, but then on top of that, I also received tires that are one year old. I've never in the past received anything older then 6 months. I feel like this should have also been mentioned ahead of time or marked down on the price for older "new" tires - feels a bit scummy to me. So basically I paid more for tires I didn't want and that were old. #4 I made an appointment and it still took over an hour, there were only a couple cars being worked on upon arrival. Appointments are supposed to be quick & shouldn't take over an hour. This point isn't the worst, but stacked with everything else...come on. Overall, feel pretty disappointed about the transaction, especially for such a large transaction that took over 60% of my paycheck. I am far from being a "Karen," but wanted to share my honest experience here for others so they aren't shocked during their visit. Maybe I'm wrong, or maybe I deserve a refund? Either way will come more prepared with more emotional strength next time so I don't get robbed. Feel like this shouldn't be my job though and the business should just be honest & look out for their customers? Does this not exist anymore? I recently bought my 98 Ranger in, and my only complaint is that you can't set an appointment unless you pay upfront. The tires I wanted (14's are hard to find) were in stock at the Valley store with 7+ around 5:30 pm, with a few at the Division store. By 7 pm, they were out of stock. I took my truck into the Valley store and they got me hooked up with 4 brand new tires for about $50 more than the other tires. No big. My mom was grumbling about how if we buy the tires there they should install, mount, balance and everything else for free. I was trying to explain to her that not is not how things worked anymore she's insisting that every tire place is like that and the woman hasn't even owned a car in 25 years. The guy helping us was awesome, he didn't let my mother's Karenicity affect him, he gave me a discount on the tire insurance and made sure that even though the tires I got were a different size than the old, they were much better, with much better insurance without the optional insurance and not much more expensive. I appreciate that more than he'll ever know. They were fast, I dropped my truck off around 11:30 am, my mom and I walked a block to a cafe and had lunch, and within 20 minutes of being back, they were done. And that was with them having to remount and balance everything because the tire I wanted saved as the spare got mixed up. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this store. Super friendly, helpful, you didn't try to take advantage of me because I'm a woman. And even after my mom acted like Karen the guy that was helping us was still extremely extremely friendly helpful he let it roll right off his back. Give him a raise please. read more

Great customer service and was upfront that it might take a while because they had a busy morning and I didn't have an appointment. Appreciated that instead of them saying it will be about an hour and then it take 3. Allowed you to drive your car in their garage because of all the safety precautions. I've had two incidences now with the Sprague store. My first incident was with my Durango. I ordered four all season tires. They said it would take a week to get there. I didn't get my tires on my car till a month and a half later because they don't have their shit together, now my second incident is I recently ordered four studded snow tires. The guy at the counter told me they don't come studded and they will have to stud them and it'll take an hour, that phone call was at 9 AM. I waited till 1020 to show up plenty of time to stud the tires and when I was there at 10:20 they told me the tires were not studded yet that it would take about an hour to do and they would call me when it's done now they're closed and my tires are still not studded. For somebody that was just hiring last year y'all need to get your act together. read more

Upon further inspection there was no evidence the store had removed the tire to have the beads cleaned or tire sealer applied after they said they had done that very thing. Tire was not over ten years old, tread was over 2/32 of depth. Discount tire falsified information and I am an extremely unsatisfied customer. We have used Discount Tire for years, ever since they helped my wife with a flat tire for free. They have become our go to tire shop. Friendly service and good prices along with tires including free flat repair and lifetime balance and rotation. We have used this specific location for the past 8+ years and have always had a positive experience. Even when they accidentally stripped a lug nut years ago they made it right. (It was a weird vehicle and easy to do, so I understood) They called and said that it happened and that they would pay to have it fixed. They could have hidden it, but they didn't. I broke off one of my valve stems that was metal. Headed to Discount Tire and they put on new plastic valve stems that wouldn't rust. I had issues with more tire light and that was because I had a few sensors with 15-18 year old batteries and some wouldn't communicate. I always get told it's at least two hours to get a tire rot even if they only have a couple vehicles in the lot. could really use more people that can do the job or send them to another state to get trained. I've gone to stores in Wisconsin that have multiple cars in the lot and more than two bays in use and they get it done in under 40 minutes every time. Valley store is pretty much the same, called them and was told I would be waiting all day. Definitely would not recommend either of these stores for anyone that wants actual customer service. This is a great location in Spokane. Put the address in the GPS to prevent getting lost since you have to travel through random neighborhood streets. We've come here often for are checks and the staff is always nice and very quick to finish the job. I am usually out within an hour if I just walk in. Better to make an appointment ahead of time if possible. This location is very clean and they offer a mini fridge that has water stocked. They also have coffee available. read more

I had an appointment for a flat repair. I am told that they cannot repair my tire because it is at 2 32nds and said I need to buy new tires. Interesting since the dealership had VERY recently told us that they were at 5 32nds. So.... Feeling that they were not being honest with me, I took the car to Les Schwab to see what they would say. Les Schwab fixed the tire for me free of charge and it was done in less than 30 minutes with no appointment. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Discount tire. Not once did anyone ever answer the phone. I just needed to speak to a live person because I was not able to complete my purchase and schedule my appointment online. *** Stay away from Discount Tire if you like your car *** I bought new wheels/tires for my 1991 Miata (with 75k miles on it) from Discount Tires online, and took them in to be installed at the Discount Tire in the valley on July 3rd. They were able to get them installed that day. I told them beforehand to set my old rims aside and to not put them in my car, they confirmed they'd set the old rims aside. I even showed up with a someone else in a truck to drop off my new tires/rims for my Miata - the guy that confirmed the old rims would be set aside even helped us take the new tires/rims to the install area, so he saw the truck that would take the old rims home. When I went to pick up my tiny Miata, they had two rims inside (both without bags) - one directly on the seat, making it dirty - I'm surprised it didn't rip the seat fabric. They had the other two jammed into the trunk (again without bags) - I had to push down hard on the trunk to get it to open. Those wheels severely scratched the inside of the trunk lid, and damaged the closing mechanism - making it difficult to open/close the trunk. I talked with the manager. They offered to have me take time out of my day to take my car into a detailer and they'd reimburse me to have the one seat cleaned. Stay away from Discount Tire if you like your car! read more

I actually did all my shopping for tires and rims on their website and had them delivered to the store. The wait time with an appointment was very reasonable considering the installation I had done. Only problem was they forgot to pair the new TPMS sensors with the new rims. When i was there to have the lug nuts retorqued today they quickly paired them up and apologized. read more

Even during the crazy snow days, he took the time to listen to what we needed and wanted and actually gave us great recommendations within and below our budget. My wife and I travel full-time and I made this appointment today to have our travel trailer tires replaced. I knew nothing of this particular location but have used DT all across the southwest and knew I was in their system. I can't say enough good things about Del, Kelsin and Tyson - 3 great guys who worked hard to make our experience a positive one. Our trailer is our home so I was a little nervous about their level of expertise changing out trailer tires. No worries whatsoever!
