Went in to get tires balanced, I was there for four hours. My truck was out of balance worse than before taking it to them. Made an appointment for 8:15 in the morning and line ran outside. They need some kind of check in procedure for people that make an appointment. Because your going to miss the time you made the appointment for. They have great customer service on knowledge but miss the mark on getting you checked in. read more

I purchase tires from Discount tire for my Ram3500. I have been trying to get my tires rotated for some time now at several different places with no luck. Today I went to the location where I purchased tires with same result. I originally purchased tires from Ted as he assisted me this time again. He refused to rotate tires and tried to sell me a new set again. I paid for road Hazzard and they advertise and tell you free flats and rotations. Whata lie, I have been doing business with them over 20 years until today. Never going and back and don't recommend anybody go either. Needed one new tire. I had one bad tire. They changed the wrong tire even after I pointed out to the manager they had taken off the wrong one. I was told they were checking all my tires and I was coldly dismissed. They put the new tire where I had pointed out. Had to return there so they could find my old tire and then put it in the right place on my car and then put they new tire on in place of the bad tire. . I cannot recommend this place. read more

I highly recommend Discount Tire on Avenue Q. My car ran over a deep pothole on I-27 and it bent one of the rims. I was 400 miles from home and really wanted to get back on the road, but the rim was a hard-to-find size and was not in stock at any of the locations. Fortunately, John found a good workaround using a smaller wheel but a larger tire so that I could back home that day. The price was reasonable too, and the service was very quick. We've probably purchased 10 sets of tires from Discount Tire over the past 20-25 years...that's what you do when you and your wife have cars and your sons do, too. When I take the time to price shop (like I did today), I remember why I return time after time to Discount Tire...their great prices, their exceptional service, their superior road hazard warranty (no prorating...free replacement), free flat repairs and free rotations, no-interest financing on their credit card and almost always, a rebate! For the last 5+ years, we've tried to always ask for Douglas and he matched the best price I had found (at Sams) and was able to give me a credit for the unused portion of the tires I replaced (based on the tire mileage warranty). My advice is...save your time and just come straight to Discount Tire. And, if Douglas is available, he'll take terrific care of you! read more

I simply needed air in my tire and instead of just airing up my tires the guy try to pitch me his sell about how I needed all new tires. Mind you my car has brand new tires on it. And when I told him my tires were practically brand new he then told me he couldn't air up my tire because his machine couldn't air it up with a psi under 15. So instead I drove my car with a flat a few miles down the road to air it up myself. I only went to discount because they were the closest to me at the moment. Never again will I ever go back.
