These guys know what they're doing. Had rubbing issues from a lift kit install that another shop in Austin did. They were able to fix my rubbing issue completely in less than an hour and I now don't have to worry about tearing into my tire tread anymore. Will definitely be getting work done here from now on. First photo is how the shop in Austin trimmed my bumper and the second photo is the amazing trimming done to the bumper by the guys at 806 Desert Customs read more

These guys are incredible! Extremely knowledgeable, with excellent customer service. I contacted them about a lift for my Bronco, and they had it ordered the same day, in stock two days later, and installed on my Bronco two days after that. They really know what they're doing. I won't go anywhere else for my off-road needs. read more

My boyfriend originally took my car into M&M to get checked due to the engine jumping, as I work full-time (8-6) and couldn't go myself. The initial quote was around $630 for an O2 sensor and an air filter--seemed reasonable at first. Then we were suddenly told by Mitch that my car needed cylinder head work totaling $6,000. Naturally, we wanted a second opinion. Not only did they refuse to provide the diagnostic codes when asked, but I later scanned the car myself (I have photo evidence of the actual codes)--and none of them supported the diagnosis or the $6,000 repair Mitch claimed was needed. This felt dishonest and ‼extremely predatory‼ After waiting nearly two weeks, I picked up my car only to find: 1. An oil separator was installed without my approval 2. The A/C had completely stopped working--a system that worked perfectly when I dropped the car off When I called Mitch, he said to bring it back and he'd refund me and look at the A/C. From the second I walked in, he was rude and condescending--questioning me and speaking down to me for not "handling this myself," completely ignoring that I'm a full-time student with a full-time job. The only time he showed any decency was when I became visibly upset--and a customer walked in. He then refused to take responsibility for the A/C issue, saying "we didn't touch that," and tried to blame it on me supposedly hitting a pothole--again, suspicious timing. (I have video of this exact conversation.) Why would I have him work on my car again after spending $899, getting a partial refund, and coming back with more issues than when I dropped it off? Bottom line: I have the codes. I have the video. I have the receipts. Mitch was wrong and the entire experience was unprofessional and stressful. I strongly urge anyone reading this to take your car elsewhere and get a second opinion. You deserve honesty, transparency, and respect--not to be talked down to and overcharged.

AGAIN THE WORKERS ARE NOT THE REASON FOR THE BAD REVIEW. I have read so many reviews that are hidden in their multitude of them but they are all stating the same or similar thing. Yes some of their mechanics don't give a f because they aren't valued some actually do care. They are taught "policy" when a real mechanic would know how to keep a car safe. I have seen and heard first hand of the attitude from the "managers" of this business. Word of advice if your turn over rate is high look at your managers that seem to have such a big stick up their . Edit- We have been trying to find corporates number but haven't had any success. Yes, minor scratches that Collision Center caused were buffed out. The major deep scratches on my door that CC caused were not buffed out because the shop scratched too deep. It was Collision Center choice to not replace the roof of my car and Collision Center choice to not repair the damage to my door that occurred at their shop.

I went by a few body shops for estimates and was rushed through. They seemed to not care if i did business there or not. I stopped by Collision Center of Lubbock and one of the adjusters there did a very accurate detailed description of the work they would perform. She printed out the estimate and walked me through the whole process. At that point i was so impressed that i told her to order the parts and move ahead with the repair. My truck was there about three weeks. It took a lot of work to take off the box and do it back to factory specifications. The GM (Daniel) and owner (Lowell) both made sure that the truck was to my 100% satisfaction. When i picked it up it looked better than off the showroom floor. These are fine people that did me right.
