When we stopped in Lubbock for the night, we had realized that the brakes on our car felt spongy and somewhat non-responsive. With the local dealership booked til the week after, we needed a more immediate option as we had to leave for Austin the next day. We settled on M&M Tire and Service Center because of the glowing reviews and it did not disappoint. We met Mitch in the wee hours of the morning and he immediately made us feel like we were in good hands. We told Mitch our car dilemma and our need to leave Lubbock and make it to Austin that day. We left the car and set off to eat at a restaurant at his recommendation, which was also fantastic! When we came back and our stomachs full, it only took an hour or so later for Mitch to update us. He found the problem but was unable to fix it with our timeline and needing to get into Austin the same day. He found the car was still OK to drive and helped us concoct a plan to fix the car when we arrived in Austin. He even went as far as calling a number of dealerships in Austin himself to figure out which was the best for us and which one had the part we needed. Mitch is awesome, and we are greatly indebted to him. Not only did he take us on short notice and without an appointment, he found our problem, and called a number of dealerships on our behalf. And he did not even charge us a cent! It should go without saying that we made it to Austin and based on his recommendations, we are getting the car fixed. Whether you live in Lubbock or you are just passing by, M&M Tire and Service Center should be your first choice if you are having car trouble.
