This was the first location I went to. I have been a loyal customer since 1984. Women should always buy at Discount. One purchase with guarantee and ALL your tire problems are solved! read more

Sitting for 45 min to fill a tote. This has always been the best Discount Tire but still waiting and the guy filling the tires wants to have a 20 min conversation with every car instead of focusing on keeping cars moving. Ridiculous! read more

Came in to have my TPMS system serviced. Not only did they save me a lot of money, their customer service was amazing! My car was in and out in about 45 minutes without an appointment! When my car was ready the service technician assisted me to my car and made sure everything was good. He explained what was done, and also what to expect. I'm very happy with this location. read more

I always have a relatively good experience regarding tire pressure checks at Discount Tire, but my latest visit to a North Side location off I-45 was great. The service provided by Nathanael was exceptional. He explained that some of the tires were off by 2 points during the assessment, and added air to the tires. The whole process took less than 10 minutes. I recommend this location if you happen to be on the road or near the area. 5/5 read more

I will never go back to this location as far as getting air in my tire. I sat in line for 15 mins and I'm the only one in line and no one came to say anything to me. I finally got out of my car and ask one of the four people that was just standing around will someone come to assist me. One of the guys said yes I told someone that you were out here and another 10 mins passed before the assistant mgr came out. The mgr apologized and I asked him with these guys and 1 girl just standing there, could no one them assist me? No comment from him only to say I'm sorry and I was good to go! read more

Incredible service! I called and let them know that my friend who is a single mother of three boys, had a flat tire and needed to get it fixed so she could drive to work in the morning. It was 5 minutes until close. Dre answered the phone and said, "Sure! Bring your tire in!" When we got to Discount Tire (45 and West) we were greeted with big smiles from Dre and Daniel! They were so kind to my friend. So helpful. What a great business ... truly taking care of customers! They turned a stressful day into a happy one for my friend and we will always get our tires from Discount!!! read more

How can one not get tired of a tire place? Well, the first thing one might notice is if compared to it's competitors like NTB, Pep Boys, Firestone etc, they always seem to come out the least expensive. If your size is not available they are linked to each other and are able to get them delivered to the place where you are at within a few hours. This particular store is set back a little from I 45 North Freeway surrounded by a good choice of stores to shop at while you are waiting. There is a Best Buy on the right, Main-ly Sandwiches and a Taqueria next door, Starbucks at the front of it and a Walmart within walking distance so a little wait can be entertained by the surroundings. Coffee, bottled water and about 10 seats are available as well. The attitude and service here are what I would describe where you would even send your own mother too. Exceptionally courteous, informative and prompt on any questions and concerns that you might have. Rims are also sold here for cars and trucks, come in or shop online to get what style suits you. read more

What can I say about discount tires. I needed tires so I went to get tires. I rolled in one hour before closing time and got out a few minutes after closing time. The sales associate was very knowledgeable about the tires they are selling and got me in the right one. I did my research before hand and was going in with two set choices in mind. Told him what I was looking for and a price range I was willing to pay. He suggested my first top pick I was that I had researched before hand. I'll keep going back. read more

One of my tires had a slow leak. I was told that my tire was not repairable. The first thing I did was give the technician a hard time because I have been a victim of male chauvinism in male dominant businesses involve buying a cars, mechanic shops, or tire shops. I usually have to be accompanied by a male to get honest and fair service. Javier my technician remained cool calm and collective the whole time and OFFERED to show me. Upon walking back into the building I saw the chart that explains what he told me in detail. I kindly apologized to him and thanked him for his honesty and let him know I appreciate his customer service. Next I was pretty disappointed that I was going to have to buy a new tire. I just started a new job and didn't have the funds. He transparently explained the discount tire card process along with warranty info and I was approved. He gave me a breakdown of the payments and got me a next day appointment because my tire had to be ordered. The next day I called to cancel my appt forgetting about a pre scheduled doctors appt. He took care of my paperwork to get service on my side of town making it more convenient for me. Then he called me apologizing for contacting me at work, but wanted to let me know my tire was in earlier than expected and I could make it before my doc appt! I can definitely see this young man in management very soon He gained my trust and executed on services supremely!! Thank you Discount Tire!!! read more

I take my F-150 to put new tires and They lost my wheel cap, Also They used the wheel lock to remove the tire and they didn't put it back in my truck, I had a flat tire in the Fwy and I had to pay a lot of money for someone to remove my tire because I don't have the nut lock remover read more

I arrived at 4pm on a Friday afternoon to have 2 tires replaced. As usual for Discount Tire there was a line so I waited patiently for my turn. Luke assisted me. It was hot... fry an egg on the sidewalk hot... but Luke and I went outside to do the quick inspection, then he proceeded to assist w/ my purchase. After settling on a tire, ringing it up, and waiting almost an hour (it was really busy), Luke was informed their location didn't have my choice of tire in stock, however, there was a slight upgrade available so he upgraded at no additional cost or hassle. Discount Tire has its challenges with flow control- getting customers in and out quickly- BUT they provide some of the best service in the industry. For that reason I remain a loyal customer. Thanks Luke!! Also Chris (mgr)- please encourage your team to keep up the good work! It doesn't go unnoticed. read more

I'm sitting here for 2 hours now & 2 people that came after me have already been serviced. I'm confused. It seems as though they chose to get the easier jobs done first instead of going in order of which we arrived. That's not very respectful of peoples time. read more

Joseph, Alexis & Dustin went above and beyond for customer SAFETY this week! They educated me about how uneven my tire wear was after carefully inspecting each one. Then, they made sure I safely got back on the road with used tires until I can but 4 new tires from their location. Check them out! The are informative and they SHOW CUSTOMER CARE! read more

Just had tires Aired up. Young man was quick and followed my instructions without trying to change my mind. Tipped him for good service

Mistakes happen everyday right? Human error. Well I dropped my car off this morning at 8. A tire had to be ordered and I was told I could pickup at 1pm. I come back to find out that Discount Tire changed out my brand new tire instead of my damaged tire. When I went to get this corrected, FOR THEIR ERROR, I was met by Joseph who made this even worse! When your company has made a mistake it is NOT your job to argue with the customer, continuously! It does not matter who checked us in, wrote it up, didn't inspect the car etc! When a customer comes to you with a problem, it is up to YOU to fix it or at least get a manager or help to fix it. I am so disgusted with this company I will never come back. You need to teach your employees RESPECT, ACCOUNTABILITY, HOW TO RESOLVE A PROBLEM, AND HOW TO EFFECTIVELY SPEAK TO CUSTOMERS!!! -5 Stars. read more

Very unprofessional. One of my tires' stud was stripped by a tech and not a single worker bothered to tell me until I noticed a nut was missing a couple days later. Yes, that's my fault for not noticing right before I left, BUT even discount tire could not repair the issue themselves. They are paying for the repair; however, I now have to go out of my way to an independent repair shop on Ella & 610. read more

So far the couple if times I've been here they have given me A+ service. I think what I paid for a set of tires was reasonable but mainly I'm happy with the service given at discount. I purchased the warranty and when I did have an issue with that specific tire they went ahead and gave me a brand new tire. It does get a bit busy in the afternoon but the morning was a breeze. Definitely will be back. Thanks discount tire. A+ service read more

I think my wife and I have been using Discount Tire since 2009 and I have to say I've never been disappointed with the quality of service. We usually buy from the location and the guys here are very attentive to the customer. With tires like anything else of value, you going to pay a bit, but after calling several different places these guys had the lowest price even said they would price match another dealer. I've dealt with both Juan and Dustin in the past and both made the process go smoothly without making you feeling of condescension or pushiness I've experience at other places. Great place to get quality service! Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. Please don't review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you're connected in any way to the owner or employees. read more

Prompt, professional, and effective. Technicians really cared to provide best service to my vehicle.

Solis helped me today and provided great customer service. He listened to my needs and met them !

They can be counted on. I've been using these guys for Years. I've only had 1 problem, & they fixed me up

I pulled up to their service around 6:00, have been waiting patiently just to get air in my tires. And haven't even been talked to or recognized. Poor service, low on employees. I'd advise yall to either hire more employees so this wouldn't happen. Then you have an employee that looks at me while he's taking yalls trash out and it's full means that yall don't have yalls environment sanitized. Then comes outside to tell me that they close at 6 but I've been waiting patiently for them since I got here. Then says I saw you out there. Because I came last time and y'all said you guys were low on employees. Let's make a better future for this DISCOUNT TIRE. read more

Always worth coming to Discount Tire. Yes it always seems to be packed and there seems to be a long wait but the service is awesome here. All these guys bust their ass and work fast and hard. Today I had 12 cars in front of mine and was given a 1.5hr-2 hour wait. It is always worth it, these tires come with guarantees and they replace, fix, or patch for free. read more

Excellent service. I have never written a review before, but thought it was necessary this time. I had a bolt in my tire, brought it in, and they patched it for free and quickly. They didn't try to push unnecessary services on me, which made me happy to ask for advice on services I may need. Also, they got very busy while I was there and handled every customer with patience, and politely. I will definitely go back. read more

While the tire prices are good, the customer service is seriously lacking at this location. Dustin was very rude and condescending when speaking with me. I feel that there was no reason for him to chastise me for rotating my tires. There was no need for him to calculate the amount of rotations I had missed and point that out to me. I have had a similar experience with Carlos at this location as well. while I like Discount, I realize that it is chain and I will just take my business to either the Willowbrook or Airtex locations from now on. The Greenspoint location is in serious need of customer service training. read more
