In the past 3 months, I have bought tires for 2 cars, a wheel for 1, used their free air service, used their warranty for a rotate and balance, had a tire repair, and even signed up for the Zero Interest Credit card. I feel I can speak to the value of this business. For starters, the staff is great! I highly recommend calling ahead with an appointment. You can build a profile online, so they know the type of tires and/or wheels you need! You can have them order the tires if they don't have them, and then show up at your appointment time... they will have everything they need, you will have everything you need, and you will be out in less than an hour! If you stop in though, they are still fantastic, but you might have to wait! They have complimentary coffee and water, and a great view in the waiting room! ProTip: Get your wipers changed here! They are better quality than the local auto parts places, and cheaper! 5 STARS for "nailing" every aspect of the business! read more

The staff here is amazing I walked my tire from across the street and brought it in, they got me checked in super fast and when I was asked if I was dropping it off or staying I told them I couldn't stay I was on lunch. The attendant said wait right there we'll have it done for you in a second and in less than 10 minutes my tire was done and for less that $200. These guys are great would highly recommend. read more

We buy all our tires here. I have 4 vehicles including 3 Mazda's and a suburban. I have always received the best service from the other locations. My wife pulled in to get her air in her tire because the light came on. They normally at least greet you and say it will be a minute. They pretty much just ignored to the point where she just drove off. Not the service we've received from Discount. We will continue to business with them because they are great. I ordered 4 new tires using my phone bout 9am, made apt for 3:15, I showed up bout 3:10 I drove away with new tires at 3:38....Place was packed as it typically is, I might have spoken 2 min total with staff in and out. I guess if you need a flat repair you got no choice but to show up maybe a warranty but if your just replacing tires make the easy appointment otherwise stand around for 2 hours complaining with the others who didn't make appointment. Chris (Store Manager) took about 20 minutes via a phone call providing me with his personal thoughts (which I requested) over three options I was considering. I made my appointment for later in the week and was in and out in less than one hour. It's now been two months on these tires and I couldn't be happier. Absolutely awful location. Ive been a loyal discount tire customer for about 15 years. I had a slow leak and went in to get a patch on the tires i bought from them 6 months ago. The associate there didnt even pretend to be interested in patching it or looking me up on their computer. Instead it was straight to tryimg to sell me me some new tires. I repeatedly asked for my tire to be patched but instead was given prices for new tires. I ended up driving away with a qoute and a almost flat tire. Thanks for the help. Aired it up and Went to independent tire shop a few miles away. They patched it within 15 mins and treated me like an actual customer. I will say this. Discount tire ive always been treated right but this particular location ive been to twice and walked out angry. Also, my co worker visited same location yesterday with pretty much same situation. He came back into work pissed. They took his tire off to patch it and then said it was unpatchable. They refused to put tire back on forced him to buy a new tire. read more

I went in for a normal tire rotation & balance. Was aware I needed new tires kinda soon tread was at 5 still. Was asked if I wanted to by new lug nuts told them no I plan on buying new tires in the next 2 months. Got asked 3 more times if I wanted to buy new lug nuts so gave in out of irritation. Then the guy tells me 2 of my rims were bent & that it was causing severe damage to my tires. He then urged me to buy new tires before I have a blow out so I panicked. After being convicted/pressured into needing new tires & rims I had to put a down payment on them. Reassured it would all be delivered & ready no more than 5 days. Waited 7 days to find out it would be almost a month before they came in.. then the tires they ordered were not the right size.. Decided to go get another opinion from Decatur tire. My rims weren't the problem for my tires being worn it was my alignment. Tires still had about 20k more miles left on them. Discount was trying to take advantage of me because I'm a young women who isn't an expert about vehicles. Would NOT recommend to anyone! read more

Confusion! Lack of order! Lack of communication between the service writers and the shop workers! NOT HAPPY with them But not angry or Ranting. Just reviewing. I purchased a set of tires for my truck the summer of 2019 and the extra service package .The DT employee recommended upsizing the tire form the original size. He said that's what they normally do. I agreed and it did not work. They corrected the problem. All is good..... I thought. Today, (summer 2020) I stop by to have a lawnmower tire replaced. I asked the young man about rotating the tires on my truck. He made me an appointment for 1-1/2 hours later, so I leave the LM Tire and go eat. I come back, the same young man checks me in and said someone would be out to get me. I noticed a customer walking out with what appears to be my lawnmower tire. I thought, "He just has one like mine". About twenty minutes later I see the same customer return with "my LM tire" and leave with a different tire. Another ten minutes or so and I'm still sitting there, waiting. I saw a DT employee walk out with a service order in his hand, looking for a customer when a new arrival intercepted him. Yes the DT guy returned the service order to the shop and came back out and worked on the new arrival. I go in to retrieve my LM tire so I could leave. To their surprise no one has rotated my tires. I told them they had allowed others to go in front of me at my appointment time and afterwards even after I was told someone would be right out to get me. Again, I'm not angry or ranting. Just writing an honest review. I now will search for a better tire center. read more

Stay away. I had a flat on my truck and decided to pull in and have these guys fix it. They said 20 minutes. 45 minutes later my truck still sits were I parked. Finally they get it in. While my truck sits there 4 guys stand around the counter talking about coffee and there weekend plans. A worker comes in from the shop area calls my name and then begins to tell me how horrible the repair done on my previous patch was. "I'm not sure who did this but the quality is poor and a sealant wasn't used we can't fix it. You need a new tire". I informed him that Discount Tire did the previous repair at another location and I even had the receipt. The guy still trying to sell me tire starts back tracking his words. I informed him that if the repair is of such poor quality and ruined my tire they should replace it. Reminder I have the recipe. (The original Discount Tire did fix it for free) he would not budge on the issue gave me a safety speech and was quite rude. I told him to put my spare on and get me out of this store. He did. So my flat tire is in the spare rack on my truck now and I'm using my spare. I go back to the original Discount Tire. I say nothing about what the other guys at the Decatur location told me. They call my name. They find a nail in my tire. Mind you the last people to touch the tire was the Decatur location. I asked them if the other patch was good. He informed me it was in great condition and in a good spot on my tire. Fixed the nail for free. I told them about my experience and they said sorry and quietly urged me on my way. Thieves! Stay away from the guys in Decatur. There are many good local companies to use and they are easy to find. read more
