Also I have had flat tires repaired a few times, with no charge for the repair. Today I came in for a repair estimate for replacing the tire wear indicators on all four tires on my vehicle. I researched online and opted for the original equipment for my vehicle and placed the order online. They were running specials for Black Friday, too. The tires were not in-store but quickly arrived within a few days. I made an installation appointment online, but went in a day early to knock it off my list, since they accommodate walk-ins. I was quoted it would take two hours, so I dropped off my vehicle, but it took just over an hour. I appreciate that the service was quick and easy. The only cons was I wasn't given much explanation on what to expect when checking out, so I was initially concerned when my TPMS light came on the next day. I received a phone call a few days later to see how my experience was and I asked about this, and the rep said that's typical but I should've received that explanation up-front. I showed up without an appointment and helped me right away they were able to look at my tire since air was low ,looked like it had a leak and they were able to take care of it . I have been purchasing tires and having them rotated and balanced for many years and have been very happy, I recently had a very disappointing experience having the tires rotated and balanced on our Audi Q5. I advised the tech the correct tire pressure should be 33 psi front and 36 psi back. While driving it seemed the car was riding hard like the tires were overinflated so I checked them myself. It was a Saturday morning so I got there early, not as early as I hoped but early enough to get my service completed in a couple of hours. I had my tires looked at and purchased 2 new front tires. Shout out to Lainie and the guys at Discount Tire. I bought a new crossover in Dec 2015. Less than 2 year and 9 mo later, my crappy stock tires were a hot mess. I had to get 4 new tires and not wanting to go through that nightmare and expense again, I bought the warranty for $79. With it, I get free replacement if my tires need to be changed within 65,000 miles. Free! And of course, I get Discount Tire's service. Every 6-8,000 miles I bring in my car for a rotation and at every other rotation, a rebalance. I was just there today for a pressure check when my TPMS light kept coming on even though we put air in the tires. Turns out, there was corrosion around the tires causing the light to go on. Pressure was fine. They cleaned the corrosion and I was on my way in 40 min from check-in though they were incredibly busy. And my cost? FREE!!! Thanks guys! read more

I arrived at their opening time, there were already seven customers waiting to enter, so I was anxious I'd be there for hours when I needed to get to work as well. This was what happened today. 5 years ago, I bought new Michelin tires for my wife's car from Discount Tires (DT). Today we discovered that she only had 18,000 miles of use on a tire rated for 60,000 miles. The tires were worn and needed to be replaced way too soon. :( My wife was fortunate enough to work with Victor Pleitez at Discount Tire today. Victor navigated working with Michelin customer service to deal with the early breakdown of her tires and their warranty. Victor and Discount Tires stood behind their product. They were able to solve the issue related to the early breakdown of the tires and put a new set on with an 80,000-mile warranty. My wife drove out of the shop with great tires, a manager who stood behind his product, and an excellent customer service experience as well. Nope. Took my 2020 4Runner in to get new K02's. When complete, right front wheel out of balance badly. Returned and they told me my wheel was bent. It wasn't when I first came in, yet they insisted it was. They lied and would not take responsibility. Cost me $600 for new wheel because it was bent during installation. Never again. I knew something was up when the new set of tires I had (barely over a year old) were already showing a leak in one of them. After the standard issue couple trips to the gas station to air it up, inevitably in a day or two the light would pop back up on the dashboard. Discount Tire is just down the road from where I live, so in the middle of the night I was able to secure an appointment the next afternoon and couldn't have been more pleased. My car was taken in right away, all 4 tires were inspected and the culprit on the leaking tire was a dumb ole staple they were able to remove and fix in under an hour. Well, they put four new ties on my car, which I had selected from their website earlier in the week. It took about 35 minutes, which was pretty fast. Only two minor observations: 1) I actually walked in over a week ago and asked them to suggest four tires for my car. The tire model they recommended would have cost over $700. I kind of felt like they were up-selling me a bit too much. I then went to their website once I got home, and found four perfectly good medium-grade tires, for a total bill of $340. These $340 tires will be perfectly fine. If I had gone with their recommendation, I would have wasted well over $300. 2) Back in the 1970's, Discount Tire had a TV commercial. It said, "If ever you're not satisfied with one of our tires, please feel free to bring it back to us", followed by an old lady throwing a tire through the front window of one of their stores. I couldn't help but notice during my recent visit to Discount Tire that an entire section of their front-facing window was gone, and was replaced with plywood. Every time I take my car here they tell me I need new tires. Once, having 12 month old tires in for a rotation, I challenged them stating the tire age and they installed them. Their reply, "oh you are GOING to need new tires. We just want to make sure you plan for it." SMH. (Same thing happened to two others I know.) When you do need new tires, they'll only want to replace all four tires at once, even on a non all-wheel drive car. SMH. Do not trust their word. Make sure they show you the wear indicator. Always ask for alternatives. I had them tell me my wheel needed to be replaced only to find out they "could add an external wheel weight, but we didn't think you would want that." I said, add it to the inside of the wheel. If you can put up with this behavior, they typically do good work and are priced competitively. They fix flat gratis. I stopped in to have a nail removed from my Tesla. They brushed me off on needing to use the rubber jack pads, which I trusted them until I watched someone jack up a Lexus bending the side skirt. The nail was outside the tread pattern so the tire had to be replaced. He acted quickly and got my tire ordered in time for same day delivery! I have been a customer since 2000 so I left my vehicle with him without hesitation. That was just after 11am. 2:30 he contacted me to tell me the tire arrived and put me in line for completion. 2 hrs later they texted me my car was ready! This is my second time to have tires done at this location. They have a large selection of tires in stock but I've also had tires shipped to the store. Their pricing is on par, if not cheaper than many other places. Make an appointment as you'll definitely be in/out much faster;typically in less than hour. This place is amazing. They were very busy before their opening hours (meaning they opened early and was already working on tires). I believe the gentleman that helped me was Brent (? not positive, been there 15-16 years). He was so professional and up front and even came back to me and asked if I wanted to get coverage on my tires that I had just bought in March (without coverage) prior to them pulling it into the bay. Thank goodness I did because I needed a new tire. As I sat in the lobby, I was able to witness everyone so pleasantly taking care of the customers. You can absolutely see that everyone loves their job and is there to help. You can't find customer service like this much anymore. Kudos to the management, which is where it starts. I use Discount Tire for my tire purchases, and part of it is their commitment to the customer outside of purchases. I took my car in with a tired constantly losing air pressure. Not all tires can be easily repaired, but they repaired the tire without a charge. They also have a drive-up air lane. Pull up, and someone will come out during business hours and put air in your tires. read more

The pro of goin here is that they have locations everywhere so even if ur out of state u have the comfort and security of knowing you can get a flat fixed or tires aired up for free when you purchase from here. Subpar customer service for Sales. Came here to get my tire checked out as 1 of my tires was losing air way faster than other tires. The associate started to check me in, then picked up a phone call that was ringing for a while. He asked if he could pick up the call and I accepted. Then he was on the phone for over 5 minutes while I stood there, rather than him putting the call on hold and finishing my transaction before moving on to the next one. In this time, I went and sat down. After the call, the associate moved on to take the next customer. I went to him to ask if he checked me in yet. And he said yeah you are all checked in. Well, thanks for not letting me know that you had checked me in before moving onto the next customer after finishing the call. I am ready to buy all 4 new tires but I guess this locations takes getting business for granted. Customer service provided by the Service staff however, was fantastic. The Service staff spent adequate amount of time after servicing my tire to walk me through their observations and potential next steps. I appreciated the Service personnel. read more

Second time coming to this location, first I had a flat tire and barely rolled in. This time I got new tires. The customer service is great, everyone's super nice and they come and update you about every 15-20 min which I think is so nice! While I was waiting I found out this location is currently appointment only--meaning Had I rolled in with barley a tire left as I did with my first experience here hey may not have been able to help me day of. I heard they were short staffed and just overwhelmed due to the walkins--THIS IS NOT Permanent they said but wanted to share so others can call ahead before coming here for quick help. Totally not their fault and they're super speedy and friendly. I had called and set up an appointment for my tire installation and seemed like they had appointments next day so if you needed a tire fix I'd just call and you'd probably get in at their first available appointment. Once they get more staff I'm assuming they'll go back to taking walk-ins. But the store is very nice and clean--seating is all social distanced which is nice. Just wanted to share this tidbit since I've seen like 3 people come in for tire help and the staff doing their best to accommodate even tho they just started appointments only.
