Came in with a screw in my tire to get it fixed. The first thing they did was check all the tires for tread and said they have to be replaced even though they were only two years old. They did the same thing to the next two costumers also. So don't go there unless you actually want to buy a set of tires. read more

Brought my raptor in for new tires. A huge hole was punctured in my bed cover. I called to talk to a manager and asked him to check the footage. I'm %100 sure it wasn't there prior. My dad always loved Discount Tire, but when a competitor moved to our hometown, I found it more convenient to go there. I have had repeated problems with the competitor though, so when my son needed tires, I bought them from Discount Tire in Burton. I loved their tires, their customer service, their integrity, their prices, and their conscientiousness. When it took me 2 tries to get my own tires fixed (they kept going flat and I had to air them up at least weekly), I went back to Discount Tire in Burton and asked if they could repair them. I kind of expected to be told I had to replace all 4 tires at once or I was out of luck. They looked at my tires, told me that 2 of them had quite a bit of life left in them, and I could get just a few more months out of the other 2. They showed me the remaining tread left, and I could see for myself that they were getting pretty worn down. They didn't insist I buy new tires. They didn't even charge me for the repair on tires that I had purchased from their competitor! So I set an alert in my phone to go back and buy those 2 tires from them when I was ready to replace them. Overall, I am loving my experience with Discount Tire. My only issue--and I know companies everywhere are struggling with having enough staff--is that I couldn't call to the Burton location and talk with someone there. Because I wanted to speak to a person, I was routed to an attendant at a central location. I get why they're doing that, and the person was genuinely nice and willing to help, but I just didn't find it as helpful as I'd hoped. I really wanted to talk to someone who had hands-on knowledge of tires--I'm great at reading reviews and figuring out things when I have to, but it's no substitute for someone who actually works with tires. So I can't say I'm happy with that aspect of the business (which can't be helped since there aren't enough people in the work force) but overall Discount Tire is great. read more

Buyer beware. I bought new tires from Discount Tire in Burton off Center Road about four months ago. I have a slow leak in one of my tires I've gone in twice trying to get it repaired but they want me to wait five hours and they'll maybe be able to see me and get it fixed. They're more interested in selling new tires than fixing those that they sold that are defective. I'm a very upset customer I don't have the time to wait five hours to fix something that should not be an issue in the first place. I guess I'll put a can of Fix-A-Flat in it and hope for the best, but I'll never buy tires from Discount Tire or refer or recommend them to anyone. read more

I flet like a Sprint Cup driver. I made an appointment for 8:30 am and arrived a little early. Paul met me at the door, took my keys and had one of the crew pull it into a service bay. The crew had all 4 tires off before I even picked out my tires. Paul steered me toward a great tire for my vehicle at a great price. When he brought my keys to me less than 30 minutes later, I thought it was a mistake. It wasn't. Almost every store has had tried to sell me something or incorrectly "fix" my tires and I'm forced to wait over an hour even with making an appointment. I was highly impressed how fast they were considering they were busy when we showed up at 10:30am. They did have special going on where can get up to 100 bucks back by buying 4 tires. I got 75 bucks back because I got a "better" tires but not the "best" to get the 100. They offered an additional 60 bucks off if you are approved for their credit card. I'm good. I would've just gave them the 60 bucks back in interest. It's always a drag hearing there is something else you need to fix with your car, but they were honest and sincere about it. The guy that helped was very nice and personable. He even recommended a tire that his put on his daughter's car. The only thing I can "complain" about it, the wait time to speak to someone about tires. They were kinda busy. They should have another person helping.
