Fair prices and great service for hundreds of dollars less than the dealer for the same tires.

Mike texted me when the work was completed. I trust Meineke with all of my car needs. They are the experts I can always depend on. Thank you. Carol Stough

I want to start off with understanding that we are only human and everybody makes mistakes. But it…read morecan get more and more troublesome when mistakes keep adding up. I was a Meineke customer, I have been for the last 2 years when I came into trouble with my car. This was my final and last appointment that I will make with Meineke. My car has been there since October 28th to get the timing change replaced, along with 2 spark plugs and 2 coils since that is what it was diagnosed with, and I was told I would get it back by October 30th or the 31st. $340 worth of Uber trips later, to get to work and home and not get my car back until November 5th. Now, the bill for fixing the car was already expensive, let alone over $300 worth of Uber fare. Parts had to be ordered, which I can understand can take at least half a day to a day to get. Then, a part came in supposedly broken, and they didn't find this out until they needed it. So, another day to wait. Then they told me something is still wrong after the test had driven it. So, that means that we had to go back and see what they missed. And what happened was, they missed by a tooth for the timing change. The best explanation for a timing change is that it is a lot like a chain on a bike. If one tooth is loose, then the chain doesn't work, right? Well, that's kind of close to what the timing change is. Mistakes were made, and mistakes were fixed. By this time, I got my bill through their text messaging system. Me, thinking that my car was finally done (Friday, November 1st), I went to go get, only to receive a call from Mieneke within less than a hour of them closing, that something else was wrong. What was it this time, you ask? Well, the catalytic converter melted part of my car underneath the rear bumper. How they missed this after having it for a week in the air and after multiple inspections beats me. And you see, this is where it gets even more frustrating. Because last year, almost to date, Meineke was the one who replaced my catalytic converter and both oxygen sensors. The person I was talking to even mentioned why they gave me a particular catalytic converter and not a different one. What does that entail? Did they give me the wrong one? To me, it is a bit suspicious that I got this replaced just last year for it to start melting my car. The pictures below is what happened when the catalytic converter they gave me last year, burned part of my car. I know that they didn't miss it, they found it VERY last minute before handing me my car back, but what IF they missed this. IF they gave me my car back without noticing. It is extremely possible that I could have died in a car accident or from my car erupting in fire. Becuase that is what could have happened if they missed it. What's happening now is $300 off and a future free oil change. Sure, it just barely covers my Uber fare. And yes, they did replace my catalytic converter for free due to their warrenty. But this total cost was well over $4k.The frustrations and ridiculous things that have happened are not worth the price they gave off to me. For me, my friends and family, and to anyone who will ask me, I would NOT suggest Meineke from any location. Everyone who knows what happens have already been telling their friends, family, and coworkers who not to go to. And I, for one, will not be using that free oil change.
