They genuinely care about their clients & providing a good experience. Catarino picked us up at my home in Bakersfield & drove us to San Diego getting us to our departing international flight on time. One week later he was right there waiting to pick us up & drive us back home to Bakersfield. His vehicles are so clean & comfortable. We were all so tired from our travel that it was nice to be able to sleep most of the 4+ hours home while Catarino took care of getting us home safe. Rating: I've been driving for Uber for a while now, and I…read morecan say with full confidence: You aren't a partner; you're just a ghost in their machine. The biggest issue isn't the traffic or the pay--it's the "Support" team. Calling it a team is a generous overstatement. Every time you have a legitimate issue, you are funneled into a loop of fake AI bots and automated scripts. You can explain a complex problem five different ways, and you'll receive the same copy-pasted response that doesn't even remotely address your concern. It's a wall of digital stone designed to make you give up. Key Issues That Never Get Resolved: The Hertz Rental Nightmare: Trying to coordinate between Uber and Hertz is a disaster. I've had issues with vehicle eligibility and billing that should take five minutes to fix. Instead, I get stuck in a "support loop" where the AI tells me to contact Hertz, and Hertz tells me to contact Uber. Uber's automated system simply isn't programmed to handle real-world logistics. Ride Dispatch Glitches: There are days when the app simply stops sending requests despite being in a "Surge" zone. When you reach out to ask if there's a technical account flag, you get a bot telling you to "move to a busier area." It's insulting. Zero Accountability: There is no human element. If the algorithm makes a mistake with your pay or your rental status, there is nobody with the authority or the brainpower to actually click "fix." Bottom line: If you value your time and sanity, look elsewhere. Uber has replaced human empathy and problem-solving with a cheap AI mask that does nothing but waste your gas and your patience. You are completely on your own when things go wrong.

He dropped me off and that was that. Nope,,,,So i get a knock on my door about an hour later and its Aderemi standing there and says "Is this your wallet?" Yep it sure was. I'm like yep thats my wallet. It was completely untouched and i just knew nothing was missing. I reached in and gave him another tip which he didn't want to take. I even gave him a hug when he was leaving. This isn't about the money or going through the hassle of canceling all my cards and having to get new ones. This is about human kindness. This stuff goes unnoticed every day and we only see the worst in people on tv nowadays. This guy is a great human being and may the Lord bless him and watch over him.

Was Promised cab in 20 minutes and at 30 minutes called and checked in they said it was going to be 10 more minutes. So really 40 minutes. Made a lame excuse about traffic and did not apologize. There is not much traffic in bakersfield in the early morning. Did not call and tell me they were running late. And on top of that when I expressed my displeasure they hung up on me. The person handling the calls has no people skills. Did not answer the phone with the name of the company. Did not apologize. Just seemed frustrated that she had to deal with customers. I like to give the little guys a shot. But was a mistake this time. If it is going to be 40 minutes tell me. 40 minutes would have worked for me and I wouldn't be stuck standing out in front of my building not keeping the taxi driver waiting. Final wait time 50 minutes They charge $2.75 a mile Did not tell me over the phone that it is cash only. I got lucky and had some cash. But usually wouldn't have had enough to cover the tab.
