You can explain a complex problem five different ways, and you'll receive the same copy-pasted response that doesn't even remotely address your concern. It's a wall of digital stone designed to make you give up. ​Key Issues That Never Get Resolved: ​The Hertz Rental Nightmare: Trying to coordinate between Uber and Hertz is a disaster. I've had issues with vehicle eligibility and billing that should take five minutes to fix. Instead, I get stuck in a "support loop" where the AI tells me to contact Hertz, and Hertz tells me to contact Uber. Uber's automated system simply isn't programmed to handle real-world logistics. ​Ride Dispatch Glitches: There are days when the app simply stops sending requests despite being in a "Surge" zone. When you reach out to ask if there's a technical account flag, you get a bot telling you to "move to a busier area." It's insulting. ​Zero Accountability: There is no human element. There are still good people in this crazy world we're living in. So I had good chat with my UBER driver Aderemi about everything EV vehicles on the drive home to my house. He dropped me off and that was that. Nope,,,,So i get a knock on my door about an hour later and its Aderemi standing there and says "Is this your wallet?" Yep it sure was. I'm like yep thats my wallet. It was completely untouched and i just knew nothing was missing. I reached in and gave him another tip which he didn't want to take. I even gave him a hug when he was leaving. This isn't about the money or going through the hassle of canceling all my cards and having to get new ones. This is about human kindness. This company doesn't even have a complaint phone number. I have used them since last September. I have had so many nightmare experiences with their drivers and they simply don't care. Once I had to wait for an over a hour outside my doctor's office while it kept getting darker in the middle of downtown Bakersfield. There were only businesses around, streets were deserted. Drivers kept canceling but they didn't let me know until it was almost arrival time. I felt like a sitting duck. I've been using Uber and Lyft for a little over 15 months. In the last six months I have noticed Uber consistently overcharging me. I requested assistance and explained what the issue was. A couple minutes later I got a reply that the issue was resolved. I'm attaching the whole conversation from the app so you all know I am not making things up. I have dealt with customer service before with other companies and almost always had a good experience, as customer service can be. This CS department is among the worst I have ever dealt with. First complaint is they didn't read the message. Second is there were two CSRs to deal with one complaint and both gave the same bull shit answer. They don't care about the customers or the company. At this point I think I would prefer to pay four times more and deal with Yellow Cab. At least then I would know what to expect with their crappy customer service. I will be contacting Uber's corporate headquarters about this. The situation with the app overcharging is unacceptable. The lacking customer service only makes a bad thing far worse. Please do not mistake my frustration toward the customer service department with frustration or anger with the drivers. I have had nothing but great experiences with the drivers. read more

Back and forth telling me to send them the same things! After I sent everything they requested, INCLUDING A SCREENSHOT OF THE PHONE NUMBER I WANT TO UPDATE MY ACCOUNT WITH THAT THEY REQUESTED, I get "we are unable to verify the phone number because it is not the phone number on your account". Uber is always gouging me by offering rides at higher prices that may arrive more quickly. I'm sticking with lyft

Don't know if it's just me or what but I can hardly get a ride from them,. Their app stinks it never works right except for the billing part of it and that really works great weather you get a ride or not you will get billed. Ím physically and mentally handicapped and they have left me stranded so many times. Don't get a ride but get billed for one almost every time and they don't like giving your money back, I tried for a hour and a half the other night to get a ride and they never did show up but billed me$13.00 . Now it's hard to afford to get a ride they were going to charge me$6-$8 to go 2 block's that's$12-$16 to go 4 blocks that's crazy. The drivers are so rude now and they don't mind just leaving you stranded after you just got done shopping for food. I hope other people have better luck than I do with them. They don't even say sorry or offer you anything when your ice cream and other frozen food have to be thrown away because they left you high and dry out there waiting for them. read more

No one can be contacted via phone for support and the out of usa reps that reply via email are not very qualified to respond to questions or concerns. I have also learned how unfair the company is to the so called partners. Since this is how they choose to do business I myself shall begin a boycott and hope that others will decide to do the same. I've been driving an uber, and this company is ripping the driver, they earn million from their so called partner yet their maps is suck. their reward policy is deceiving, they will tell you will you will receive $ 175.00 if you will complete a 30 trips but then once you complete your 30 trips and you earn like a $150.00 they will tell you "we will add $25.00 to complete your reward of $175.00" and that is not well explain in their site when you sign up, The company doesn't have contact phone number to a quick reply of your complain. I would rather try driving Lyft instead. read more

I would give this 5 stars. I know I live in a remote area. I prefer to use a car service if I'm going to the bar. I took one ride to and from. I know I inconvienced my driver with a stop on the way home, but I thought I made up for the inconvenience. It tipped my driver 30 dollars plus cash for the stop and the road coming to my house being remote. I also tipped 7 dollars in the app. Now my driver ignores any requests and no one will pick me up. Kinda bull crap. Uber needs to find more drivers in this area if one refuses to service me. I am nice and very non offensive. It's a great idea, but it just isn't working here. I have a feeling my driver is refusing service because I disclosed I am trans. Unfortunately uber has no customer service number or process to find out what the problem is. All I know is my driver rated me 5 stars on both trips. No idea why all requests now are ignored as she came to pick another up when she wouldn't get me.
