We needed to store the trailer at our final destination as we had not purchased a home yet and had no where to off load it. No problem with that part either. We bought our home in an area that was a bit further out from our original storage area. The office said there would be a charge of near $500 to move it. I mentioned to him that I had talked with someone when originally booking and mentioned this outer area was a consideration for us and that the person on the phone said no problem, no additional charge. The person that I am now talking to on the phone said they record all calls and he would listen back and see if that indeed happened like I said. I thought to myself, yeah sure. Like they are actually going to find where I said that to a former agent I talked with. No more than a day went by and sure enough.....they said it happened like I said and there would be no charge of $500. I really appreciate their honesty and following through.

On between they rearranged stuff they'd already already rearranged. It took six hours to load of the truck. I called to complain to the manager who said this was their best crew. After some discussion he agreed to come back and comp the extra hours. On the way to the new house, the truck broke down. I told the manager I'd call him when I had a new truck. When I got the new truck reserved, I called and texted him. He never responded. So basically I paid 1000.00 to move 3/4 of the house.

I was also told that for moving this distance (approximately 70 miles) it was standard for companies to charge for the weight of the truck once it's loaded, milage, an hourly base rate, and additional fees like having to travel up stairs. I was flabbergasted. I called this company just to see what they had to say, expecting the same answer I had gotten from multiple other sources, and was shocked when they told me they would charge $80 flat rate, no other fees (they told me they even do out of state moves at that rate too!). The last time I moved, I paid $300 for a U-Haul and had to move everything myself. At the end of the day, I paid these guys $480 for six hours of labor and they took care of everything. Not only was their rate the most competitive, their movers were THE NICEST guys. They got right to work and didn't try to waste time, but were super personable and chatted with me and my Dad the whole time. They knew what they were doing, took ridiculously good care of my furniture (even the cheap-o particle board stuff they wrapped up and took precautions with), and even thanked me and my Dad when we carried boxes to the truck. I honestly can't say enough nice things about this company and I wish them all the luck in the world. Every single penny of that $480 was worth it and I will recommend them to anyone who will listen!
