CURRENTLY AWAITING REFUND - ELECTRICIANS IGNORING MY CALLS AND HANGING UP ON ME On August 11, I gave these guys a $1775 deposit (50% of the total) for some electrical work, mainly replacing an electrical panel along with some small stuff like installing GCFI circuits in the kitchen/bathroom/deck. They came on August 28th (a day after the scheduled August 27th) and did some of the work. They installed the GCFI circuits where needed but didn't finish the job (pictures included, there is an outlet still hanging out of the wall in the kitchen, has been that way for 6 weeks now). Throughout September, I called a couple times to check in with when they were going to do the rest of the work. I was often met with a response like "I was just about to call you" or "I was just going to contact the city of Hendersonville to get that permit for the panel." I will say, the guys said they were very sick for 3 weeks in August and also had personal emergencies in September that caused delays, but I purposefully hired them 3 weeks before I needed the work done in order to get ahead of unforeseen emergencies such as the ones that came up. Ultimately, on September 23, they notified me that they were unable to receive a permit from the city of Hendersonville to replace the panel. I don't know the particulars of this but they weren't qualified for whatever reason. If they had contacted the city of Hendersonville in a timely fashion, they would have found out sooner that they weren't able to do the work instead of wasting 4 weeks of my time. I am currently awaiting a partial refund on the $1775, with the difference for the work done kept out. Earlier this week, I asked for a full refund considering the unfinished work and waste of my time. If these guys are willing to come out and finish the simple work they started, then I think a partial refund is fair. This morning I called to check in with the status of the refund and the man who picked up, I'm assuming Ron (who I think I've been communicating with most of this time), hung up on me right after hearing my name. Seeing as it is difficult to reach these guys, I decided to drive an hour to their 22 N Public Square, Murfreesboro, TN address, which turned out to be locked doors that seemed to lead to a bar. I am resorting to Yelp because it seems to be the only way to reach out as I am now actively being ignored. Ultimately, I just want my money back so we can both get out of each other's hair. read more

This company has a lot of people with a bad disposition and cancelled an appointment because I asked for another technician to come!! Do not use them as they are arrogant and acted like they were doing me a favor! Their quote was almost double what other electricians have quoted me since. read more

I found this company on Yelp and decided to go with them after the positive reviews. I contacted them to replace a blown outlet. I was able to get a service call scheduled for the very next morning. The electrician was professional, communicated well, was on time, & did a really good job. The company also does well communicating to you throughout the process such as a text sent with the details of the visit. I definitely recommend their services if you are looking for a good electrician. I would add the initial service visit is $35 which is good value. If the electrical issue will take more than hour, or is advanced, they will give you an estimate so you can decide on your options. read more

Dave came by and did a brilliant job fixing our issue! We had an entire wall where the outlets didn't work and discovered through a bit of discovery an entire wire was not connected to the breaker from evidently another time work was done here at the house! He also made our little girl's room safe by putting the proper switch to the wall because the wrong one was attached, The fan was flickering and the dimmer switch was incorrectly added on a prior install. Had appointment for Monday, but technician called to reschedule last minute. Rescheduled for Wednesday afternoon. My wife took off work to meet them. They were here just a few minutes, but said they couldn't do anything because the attic was too hot. Understandable, but why bother making the appointment? Were they surprised that it is hot on a mid-August afternoon? Technician and owner were rude and unprofessional. There are too many other competent companies to waste time with these guys. read more

I called due to an emergency situation with an electrical issue under my house. I spoke directly to the owner of the company and even sent him a video of my problem. He told me it was probably a wire that was grounding to metal from a 110 source but would send an electrician immediately the next morning at 8am. The electrician showed up on time, but all he did was take a few plates off my breaker boxes and then stated the problem was a recalled surge protector wired to my HVAC unit. He stated if i disconnected these i should not have any problems, but refused to even go under my house to investigate. He then called his boss and proceeded to let me know it would be $225 per hour he was there and would have to call for help to get someone under my house. Since he had already been there an hour, I was not going to pay this ridiculous amount just waiting so I sent him off (paid for first hour). I then called my HVAC provider (ESTES AND CAIN) and the owner came out directly, disconnected the surge protectors and then proceeded to go under my house and found there was a grounded wire that had been pinched and was causing the problem. Not only did he video the whole episode, but he went ahead and fixed the issue by splicing the broken wire and completed the job. Pretty sad I had to get another company when a certified (or so they say) electrician refused to go under the house to take care of this problem. I would never recommend this company for any electrical work in Middle TN. Please find a real electrician to do the work. read more

After struggling with an electrical problem I finally called the experts. Due to some other emergencies, it took longer for them to reach my house than I had wanted, but when the electrician showed up he identified the problem instantly and had me back up and running in half the time that I was expecting. Received quote for $450 to replace the electrical meter base at my house. Ron required payment before scheduling the service, which seemed strange. Check was sent and cashed immediately. After multiple attempts to schedule the appointment, we successfully contacted Ron (The Owner) and setup the appointment. No one showed up for appointment from Discount Electrical and no one called or made an attempt to inform us that they would not make it. After numerous attempts to contact again, Ron sent a text message to us that he would be available any time after 11am a few days later. No show AGAIN! We then called and he said he was overwhelmed and had to schedule us after some emergencies. We gave him another week and followed up... he was on vacation at this point and the Holidays hit.... I then called on Jan 2 and Ron said he would call Tamara and should be able to get to our job the next week. Still haven't heard from him. I have called him 3 times and left voicemails since Jan 2. At this point its been 6 weeks since he cashed our check... It is criminal and he stole our money. read more
