It doesn't take any artistic ability, but if you do have such a trait, you can put it to use here as well. What I'm saying is that anyone can enjoy this place-and you should! First, you select the size of canvass that you want to paint. Then, you select up to five paint colors. There are lots to choose from and you can walk around the gallery to see other art and get some inspiration. Depending on what style you like, you'll be guided by a friendly staff member on how to pour your paint onto the canvass and then tilt it in a way that will achieve your desired outcome. It's a fun process and a bit mesmerizing to watch. For an extra fee, they can add resin to the finished piece, which will make it shiny. It certainly makes the colors pop and I'd recommend it. My only complaint is the price. Sure, you're making a one of a kind work of art. But the price point is steep and will certainly eliminate some people from participating. But if you can swing it, I'd recommend you save your pennies and give it a go.

Well, long story short I was overwhelmed. My co-worker told me about her friend's cute little shop that has the most unique gifts. I walked into the store thinking a long search full of driving all over town was ahead of me. I was immediately taken back by how unique and adorable every single item was. I eventually settled on a few natural smudging insense bundles and an adorable ceramic mushroom to live in the planter of my dear person's favorite fern. Olivia was so helpful. She gave me time to explore each and every little table and shelf, answered all my questions, and told the tale behind every trinket. She even helped me calm down realize that my search wasn't as impossible as I had made it out to be in my mind.

I believe that they do these events twice a year for two weeks on Thursday-Friday. I went on a Thursday evening and it was pretty steadily busy, so I would imagine that it would be packed on a Friday or Saturday. There were around 35-40 booths set up in a large warehouse room, which seemed like just the right amount for meandering around. Each vendor marked their items with their vendor code so you can make all your purchases at once at the end. The vendors had already set up their items and were not present at the event, which made for a low-stress shopping experience. I believe that they rotate through vendors each week so if you would like to see variety, you can go again on a different week and see some totally different items. You could buy anything from vintage clothing to dry shampoo, to embroidery to jewelry. My personal favorite vendor was Vintau, which sold gorgeous rocks and gemstones on stands and dreamcatchers at a super reasonable price. The people running the event stayed near the entrance/exit so they could hand out shopping baskets and check out customers. The lines were short, and they carefully wrapped up fragile items in tissue paper. Overall, it seemed very well planned and executed and was a very enjoyable way to spend an hour.
