Joe and his team at Towaco Service are terrific. Finding a reliable, trustworthy talented mechanic…read moreto service your car in a must. Joe and his crew have been servicing mine for over 12 years. They kept my previous car running to almost 300,000 miles... always providing me with options and wise recommendations based on the age of the car and my appetite to keep putting money into it. I'm in a newer car now and I've moved to a different town but still go to Towaco Service for my needs. One time I did not almost ended badly. I broke down and had my car towed to the nearest dealership out of convenience. It took the dealer 2 weeks to diagnose. They claimed I needed a new clutch and transmission. So I towed the car to Joe and he had me back on the road in one day with only a new clutch saving me over $6,000. It's so great supporting the small business owners who deserve the business: 5 stars for Towaco Service Center!

I had been taking several of my cars to George for many years, and I always felt the work was fine,…read morefor the price. I felt we had a great relationship, and my wife would even bring him snacks or coffee when dropping off our cars. However, a mechanic friend of mine worked on my suv to replace the belt that was squeeling. The belt shredded immediately. What we found was that the pulley for the alternator was not in Line with the remaining pulleys. George had replaced that alternator a few months back, obviously with the wrong unit. My wife and I went to George to explain what I had found, and asking him to fix it, he became very irrational and started throwing insults at us. He refused to acknowledge that he could have made a mistake, and started accusing me that I changed something on the car. I was very shocked and dissappointed. We couldn't believe it. We took our car and never went back. We didn't deserve to be treated like that, we were long time customers, good customers. Please beware.

I wanted to do some custom work to my car (aftermarket suspension, valvetronic exhaust) as well as regular services. John (the owner) and his team has proven to be exceptionally qualified with working on my Mercedes. The valvetronic exhaust installation is not simple because of the added wiring complexity on top of the bolt ons. I was very pleased with their knowledge of these cars. I especially appreciate the care and detail of customizing the locations for foreign parts from the exhaust. I have sat in his shop for hours while waiting for my car and seeing customer after customer walk in and out. All types of cars from Audi's, BMW's, Etc. and nothing customers all walking away pleased. John has been pretty transparent on labor and his explanation to fix the problem.
