My nephew wanted to check out this record store in Plainville (Chicago suburbs). It's a cool shop especially for collectors. There are amazing imports from various countries. There are all genres to be found from decades past to today (Ie. Taylor Swift and other current artists.) There are records, cassettes, CD, and even 8 track tapes! You can even purchase some artist related merch like t-shirts. If you don't have a record player, I believe I saw one for sale in the front. Our fam was welcomed into the store by someone working on the sales floor. Great visit (all the way from California!) and great vibes. Left 'Round is 4 stars!

There's tons of soundtracks and video game sound tracks and just alot of music to dig through here as well as clothes, Hello Kitty stuff, and more cool things. Sometimes they be spinning house music upstairs which is a throwback to Chicago house days at record stores. Fun times here. Check it out, one of the better record stores in Chicagoland as most record stores don't even have a DJ setup. It's like a hidden gem cuz it's right next door to a HUGE Graham Crackers comics, and tho most people will go there to be ripped off by the chain store of Graham Crackers overpriced books where you'll never find a deal, they're right next to this record store where there's deals and fun stuff to be found. The juxtaposition of opposite places is uncanny

I will give them 1 star because of the pleasant guy who booked my party but if it wasn't for him,…read moreI'd give 0 if possible. 1. I tried to confirm my party a week in advance and couldn't get ahold of anyone. I received a text from what I thought was a robot? Still not sure if it was but they said they didn't have my reservation despite me saying they had my deposit. Gave me a number to call, which I did 2x and left voicemails, no response. I honestly thought I was getting scammed. 2. They state you need 7 car lengths of room for the truck. You probably only need about 4. The gaming trailer pulled up, hooked up to a Tacoma that was clearly too small to be pulling it. The back end of his truck was tilted down and looked very unprofessional with his busted taillight. The trailer was very dirty on the outside. 3. When I booked this party, I mentioned I needed WiFi because it's a Fortnite birthday. The gaming host didn't complete the update by the time he came to my party and told me it was going to take 4 hours, but 1 TV outside the trailer had it. So now, the birthday boy has to play OUTSIDE the trailer by himself while all his friends were inside. 4. The controllers weren't working. So now my son is almost in tears because he patiently waited an hour (which we only had the trailer for 2 hours) to play his favorite game on his birthday and it still wasn't working. I had to use my own gaming controllers. 5. The "Gaming coach" was a joke. There was literally no interaction with the kids at all. I think he said 3 words the entire time he was here. He was scrolling on his phone the entire time. Yes, I did call. Yes, they gave me $175 off. But it's still not right. I throw big parties for my kids every year and this is the first year I am truly disappointed & still out $350 for a terrible experience. Just trying to help the next mom who puts in weeks of work preparing and planning to make everything special for her kids. Find a different company.
