Not a bad spot for Indian food, pretty average flavour, nothing outstanding. I'm used to Punjabi…read morestyle which is more intensely spicy with heavier use of onion. Needed more achar, but it was removed once the appys were done. We ate most of the achar straight out of the dish for want of more spice and flavour.
The food here is very middle of the road but will satisfy one's curry cravings. The channa with paneer (ceci curry) was good, the baingan bharta was missing depth and that lovely roasted flavour. The masala lassi was very plain, no real masala.
A bit overpriced for what you get in my opinion. Not sure I'd come back, would probably try something else, though this spot looked to be the cleanest of those along this particular street. It was also the only one without leering be-capped creeps hanging outside the front door. Yeesh
