I got over there and there was a hand written new schedule on the door. Open at noon instead. I had to take my wife to physical therapy and went by there at around 12:30. There were people sitting in their cars waiting to pick up stuff and she was still not open. That is no way to run a business and after 3 trips up there I chose one down the road and I'm glad I did because he did a great job and got them back me quickly. Two weeks ago we had a straight hem placed in a king size thin quilt type comforter. Cost was $48 and some change. It seemed high for a straight hem but we went ahead with the work. Went to have the same thing done on another comforter exactly like the first one just a different color and was told the "boss" wasn't there but they would call with a price. No call for two days. We called on day 3 and were told "boss" had an appointment and they would call. That call did happen and we were quoted $70 for the exact same work. The world is full of scams and con artists. Beware.

The people there probably do great work with clothing but this outcome was a bit ridiculous. All 3 of these Christmas stocking were done by the same lady. I took the correct one, the gingerbread one, in a few months ago while I finished the other 2. When I brought the other 2 in she said she remembered the gingerbread one because this process is so time consuming and intricate. I said I'd like her to do the same with the newest 2-the stocking shape with a hanger. I told her this twice. And she agreed that she remembered the first she did. When I came to pick them up they were sewn in a rectangular shape, like a placemat. I pointed out the shape and told her that I wanted a Christmas stocking. She said "you never told me that. You have to say that when you bring them in". I agreed to come back, an HOUR's drive from where I live, to get them. I get back and it's a half baked job. They don't even open, they're sewn shut. I'm pretty disappointed for driving so long thinking the Wichita area would have someone good. Could I have left it to have it redone a third time? Sure, but these take about 2-3 months to stitch and would cost a buyer about $350-$500 if I sold them. I didn't want to risk it and will need to find someone that knows what a Christmas stocking needs to look like. The first one turned out great, and I'm baffled as to why the others didn't unless she just didn't really want to do them and should have said so.

Very aggressive and threatening for somewhere that should be kind and light hearted for brides to feel comfortable and excited about their wedding dress!
