There were people sitting in their cars waiting to pick up stuff and she was still not open. That is no way to run a business and after 3 trips up there I chose one down the road and I'm glad I did because he did a great job and got them back me quickly. Many, many people have used Quickstitch for years, as I witnessed from seeing so many coming and going while we were there. I talked to a couple customers and found out they'd been using Quickstitch for all their alteration needs for a long time. Prepare to be told their policies in detail, including that they will only speak to the actual bride. The owner told me situations which led to each of their policies, including a bridesmaid who had a falling out with the bride and tried to cancel everything. Hence, only the bride, not parents or anyone else, can make changes in anything. They will also arrange cleaning and preservation of your dress. I was so relieved to be able to take the dress to someone I trusted and had worked with.

Two weeks ago we had a straight hem placed in a king size thin quilt type comforter. Cost was $48 and some change. It seemed high for a straight hem but we went ahead with the work. Went to have the same thing done on another comforter exactly like the first one just a different color and was told the "boss" wasn't there but they would call with a price. No call for two days. We called on day 3 and were told "boss" had an appointment and they would call. That call did happen and we were quoted $70 for the exact same work. The world is full of scams and con artists. Beware.
