While frustrated, I approached them with a great attitude and I got a great attitude in return. The rep helped rebuild my account with the services and equipment I wanted and got my price to a manageable and fair point. He got everything set up on his end and told me what I needed to do when I got home to set everything up. He turned a situation I dreaded into a great experience. While I was in the store, I watched several professionals trying to extend customer service with a friendly attitude to quite frankly a bunch of rude customers that came in with a bad attitude. I spent over an hour on the phone speaking with three different representatives. Despite repeated requests to speak with a manager, I was consistently denied access. Due to this severe lack of competence and poor customer support, I cancelled my order. The staff showed zero customer retention effort or professionalism. I highly advise others to look elsewhere for internet service.

They completely missed the first install date and when I called after they had missed the window they told me the installation was canceled and I must have done it as they are not able to cancel...... I did not cancel. Then they did the installation on Friday and everything was work. Perfect great, not so fast, it was down the next evening. I called back in for them to tell me, "my self install wasn't scheduled until next week and my system was not active." What? After a little over an hour and a new activation the system was back up. Now we are home free? Nope! The next morning the system was down again. I was busy in the morning so I called in the afternoon. I was told then that my equipment was scheduled to arrive until next Wednesday (4 more days) and they couldn't help me. I re-explained several times that my installation was done by ATT not myself and I had the equipment and it was working. They told me they couldn't help on. A Sunday and they didn't gave me scheduled until my equipment was to arrive on Wednesday. I asked to be transferred to the cancellation department hoping to get someone who actually understands what I am saying, but was told they couldn't help with this on a Sunday either..... I then reach out to my local sales rep who reaches out to his manager. The manager reaches out to the Director of fiber/internet/the right person????? Well it has been 2 more days and I am still not working and they are talking about sending a tech out with an 8 hour window tomorrow. Now for those you pay attention this is the Wednesday date I was given by the CS people on Sunday.... I also received a message with FedEx tracking number to let me know equipment I already have is being shipped and will arrive by then. And, I have been told that my mentioning please send me to department to speak to someone about canceling has somehow broken the system and is complicating fixing the issue. At this point I really don't know what to say. This is ATT not chuck in a truck internet. I am embarrassed for them. One thing I really don't have clarity on, is do they think this is acceptable or par for the course? The manager I have been speaking with seems frustrated and trying to help, I would even say going out of his way to be available and responding. But, behind him I get the feeling it just how things work. The gaps in process and technology are really astounding. I am somewhat trapped and this is my fault as I did cancel xfinity once this was initially up and working. Big mistake- although xfinity wasn't fiber it did in fact work.

It would go out almost every weekend which was when all the good things were on. Kenneth worked at trying to make it reliable but I finally through in the towel. The upfront fee for the modem, $300 bucks was not refundable even though the service was never reliable. Be careful before buying into the service.

I have now been charged over $700 within three months for my service to only work for about 3 weeks. I understand that some things are out of their control, but they do not care about their customers or trying to help. They want to take your money and disappear. Two days later, a replacement arrives, only to discover that AT&T's own system won't let you transfer an eSIM from a dead device to a new one. Not my fault. Not my problem to solve. But somehow, it became exactly that. Everything online failed. The app failed. I was forced to visit a store in person. Already an inconvenience. What happened next was completely unacceptable. The moment I walked in, the rep was visibly annoyed. His first words? "You should have done that over the phone." I didn't have another phone. That's why I was standing in front of him. Then came the identification issue. I presented a digital driver's license and a Georgia DDS-issued temporary license, both of which are legally recognized by federal, state, local, and financial institutions. The TSA uses these documents to board passengers onto aircraft. Banks accept them. Courts accept them. AT&T does not. His explanation? "Security." That word doesn't mean what he thinks it means. When I pushed back and asked for clarification, his response was, and I am not paraphrasing "I'm not doing this today." There was one other customer in the store. Four employees on the floor. I had an appointment. There was no reason for this level of indifference except a complete unwillingness to help. I had clearly interrupted something far more important, his coffee and his phone screen. When I asked for his name, he refused to give it. A colleague stepped in and offered a name as "Jim." Whether it was real is anyone's guess. Based on everything I witnessed, I'd say probably not. The result? I had to drive unannounced to a friend's house, because I had no working phone to call or text ahead, just to use their device to reach AT&T customer service. That call took over 30 minutes, not counting hold time. All of this because one employee decided customer service wasn't on his agenda. When employees feel comfortable refusing to give their name, dismissing legally valid identification, and responding to frustrated customers with open hostility, that's a management failure from top to bottom. I would not recommend this location to anyone. There are other AT&T stores, other carriers, and frankly other options entirely. AT&T, do better! Your customers deserve it.

After checking in, I received an automated text stating that I would be notified when it was my turn and that I could add more time or cancel if needed. There were eight customers ahead of me, so I walked just two stores away while waiting. About 30 minutes later, I returned to find my name had disappeared from the queue. There was no one greeting customers or available to answer questions. When I finally found an employee, I was told my place had been canceled because I had left the store. That makes no sense given the automated text specifically says you'll be notified when it's your turn. If customers are expected to remain inside the store the entire time, that should be clearly communicated at check-in and in the text message. Instead, I was given conflicting information and lost my place in line. I can't tell whether this is an AT&T policy issue or simply poor management at this location, but either way the customer experience is unacceptable. This is my second bad experience at this store, and it's enough that I'm switching mobile carriers. It's especially disappointing because both my husband and I worked for AT&T for decades and loyal customers. We know the level of customer service the company is capable of delivering. This store falls well short of that standard.
