His chairside manner was genuinely caring, every few minutes he would check in..."doing alright ?"; "everything Ok ?" My initial session was a huge relief. Then he went away to help his daughter move which left me without care and I was referred to a pain center $1100 out of pocket later that did not fix the issue. Then Dr. Truono offers me a $500 credit towards service at his office. I called to use that credit and now I am being told that I am not a good fit for the practice and they will not schedule me. I was always pleasant and respectful to him and his staff. I am at a loss of words to be told I am not a good fit for a practice and denied services and the credit. No one called me to have any discussion. I have never. This is a first. To be dismissed from a practice and still needing treatment with not referrals or conversation is beyond the scope of professionalism.

This morning I called for confirmation and requested predetermination of the bleaching trays, and consultation. As soon as I mentioned Bluetooth and Apple Airdrop, Brenda's brain froze! She started acting IT illiterate, and kept repeating the word "email" After explaining a million times that I do not share medical records through email, she finally contacted the OM, Jen. So, an hour later Jen calls and reports that FDS wouldn't offer the services I requested unless I become a patient, which means that I would essentially commute over a 100 miles for routine care! All this is after I very CLEARLY explained and confirmed with Brenda that I come in for just bleaching trays and imaging consultation!!! Dr. Crawford if your reading this, please advise your staff! Not everyone uses email for medical purposes! I can show you the text I changed with Ashley. I asked questions and she mindlessly wrote FDS's email address..

She is the first person either on the phone or face to face that you encounter when going to the practice. She called me on Tuesday 1225pm, after my dentures had been dropped off to office at 1030am. She called not to tell me to come pick up the body part made SPECIFICALLY for me, mouth. No she called me to taunt and harass me that it wld need to be a discussion between them and my counselor regarding how I acted and I was ungrateful/ yea this demented psychopath called me to taunt harass reprimand chastise me while saying lies. The 5 visits I had never had an issue I said what I wanted and what I didn't which is my right I'm the one wearing them. And then when I was told by the dentist they'd be ready that following Wed 9/20. I was asking him due to an upcoming event with myself my children my partner that we had pushed back because of the dental treatment and awaiting the outcome. When I called while stating what I was told she began to get smart and irritated of me asking so I hung up on her I wasn't gonna continue trying to talk to her smart demeaning self. From that when I called the lab and the nice gentleman informed me that they dropped off my case, the dentures and my personal top denture off to the office at 1030am. But again the psychopath never called to tell me that she called to taunt me. I called the Wilmington police aa a civil matter asked them for assistance because the dental office was refusing to give me, the patient, my made for me body part. The officer was in awe and they LIED to the officer and told him the department of labor Voc Rehabilitation had cancelled IT. Cancelled what after I've had this treatment extractions and now the finished product what was cancelled? It was a LIE their psychopath receptionist and whomever else in that office blatantly LIED. And the dentist office had already been paid for the authorization for the treatment and product for me This matter is disgusting to say the least, a professional dentist Dr, Daniels employs such a demented evil unprofessional LIAR. So the police officer said ma'am I'm sorry but you need to escalate this matter especially since they had been paid. And that's exactly what I did the following day. From the governors office to the leadership of the agency that sends patients there , the board of professional regulation the question was asked, what in the world is wrong with them refusing to give a patient their pad for body part made especially for them? I wait she knew how important what they meant to me and because she thinks she runs something maybe at the front desk she does, she means nothing at all to me Don't like me oh well, could care less. Then said when she called to taunt me that I was a problem every visit, well the video on my phone of each visit says that's a lie. And If I was then why did the dentist continue treatment then? Why did she fake speak and say goodbye with my name at each visit? Something I should be so excited about I am not and because of this fiasco, when my husband called asked if he could pick them up, she told him NO, bc I was ungrateful. This psychopath really taunted and withheld my dentures because she could. So if anyone reading this is considering there proceed with caution. I find it interesting that the google and YELP reviews with low ratings all have in common "the rude light brown" lady at the front desk. Some reviews go back 2 years, so nearly 8,9 different patients said the same thing, need I say more.

Today, I received an email bill for over $800!! I called and office insisted I pay this as they were "a little bit off" on their calculations! I asked to speak with the owner or dentist and was told that wouldnt be possible. Said most they could do for was offer installment plan. HORRIBLE!!!!! ZERO STARS. They do horrible work!!!! You have to continue to follow-up with repairs…read morefrom work they have done. I have now spent over $12,000.00 in their office in less than a year on root canals and crowns (with INSURANCE). Both crowns have fallen out in less than 6 months (2). They are the wrong shade and do not match the other teeth (very white and obvious). They recemented them back in (charged and billed insurance/running up my benefits for the year on work that was already paid for, upwards of 4,000 a tooth). I could not have booked an appointment due to their cancellation policy. Mind you, I spoke directly to the office and note my chart that I had not cancelled my appointment and yet they continue to state I did not cancel within 48 hours of said appointment and therefore they BANNED me from making appointments. So, here I am with a mouth full of VERY EXPENSIVE, mismatched, broken teeth, in pain, and cannot even make an appointment for repairs. I can only call on Wednesday's and hope for a cancellation. My last visit to Crescent resulted in a perfectly good lower molar that was drilled down and cracked in half, while the dentist was recementing my upper molar crown back in. So now, another dental repair to a good tooth that is now broken. I have since obtained a new dentist, reputable, reasonably priced, and in the process of having the $12k worth of work done at Crescent Dental redone as the new dental provider stated they did a root canal and crown on the upper molar that is not viable. I need to start an implant process ($6k) to replace the unnecessary $5k upper molar that Crescent did in March of 2026, basically now an $11,000k tooth, not to mention the cost of the office visits for repairs. I was informed by new dentist in June that the tooth should never have had a root canal and crown as it would not have worked. Money thrown away on a useless, expensive crown. I have reached out to my dental insurance as Crescent was submitting claims that were not valid, such as a mouth guard, office visits, xrays, etc. They are investigating Crescent Dental for false claims. I DO NOT RECOMMEND CRESCENT DENTAL or any of its affiliates as they are shady. They do not do good work, cause more harm than good, unprofessional, rude, and simply looking to get paid. Yes, they are more expensive than a regular dentist as he is a Priemer Dentist, meaning he submits claims at the highest billing rate and you get stuck paying more than other dentist and runs down your allotted benefits for the year. It is unethical. MEDICAL MALPRACTICE!!!!
