Rude. Do not return phone calls. Overpriced. Poor quality dental repair. I would not recommend them to anyone!

I'll preface my review with the disclaimer that I have just become a patient of Wahl. This isn't a…read morereview based on a years-long relationship but on my first visit. Having limited insurance, I have not seen a dentist in years and it shows (broken teeth, cavities, missing crowns). This week, a crown broke off and that tooth gave sleep-robbing pain all night. I called Wahl when they opened in the morning; despite being a new patient, they welcomed me at the door within the hour. Susan, who answered my call, was there to greet me. We filled out paperwork and she let me know each potential procedure and cost estimates since she knew I was paying cash and couldn't afford anything major. This was done in an understanding, compassionate manner, not the "you better not stiff us, jerk" manner some care facilities utilize when they know you are uninsured. Dr. Peggy and her assistant got me settled in quickly. After a quick x-ray, my tooth was extracted. Dr. Peggy explained each step ahead of time, constantly made sure I was doing okay, and when I wasn't we stopped and made adjustments. Never once did she admonish me for the condition of my mouth. We solely focused on the issue at hand. Checkout was painless, where I was encouraged to look a little closer at my insurance and submit my info anyway to see if any of my appointment could be covered (I submitted this info via e-mail later in the day and received a reply promptly). Before I left, Susan came by with a card detailing the next few things we might want to do (standard checkup, complete x-rays) if and when I have the chance. She provided the cost for each as well, knowing that was a concern. The office is clean, professional, sincerely friendly, and truly caring. On their website, Dr. Wahl explains how his father took much effort to establish a practice that made a difference through their relationship with their patients. It shows. I've never felt more comfortable at a dentist's office. Highly recommended!

Flexible, personable, clean and bright.... this is the best dental office I've been to. Admittedly,…read moreI think the list of ALL dental offices I've been to isn't terribly long (maybe 5 in my life) BUT this one tops the chart. I've met with Dr. Tai (super briefly) and Dr. Carroccia (my regular dentist) and both have some solid bedside manner. Or chairside manner... Dr. Carroccia noticed that I was a little nervous on the front end of the appointment (jarring past experience with my last dentist) and not only systematically addressed every concern or question I had, but also offered me a complimentary enamel polishing to file down a few bumps that resulted from a childhood crossbite later fixed by braces. He said that his main goal was to make people proud of their smiles. I just loved that, and left grinning from ear to ear. They also offer top of the line technology and all their equipment seems clean, modern, and, most importantly for this worry-wart, NOT SCARY. I'll also add that my mother, who recommended this office to me, has been going for years and had some surgery done. There was something off with one of the caps, and not only did Dr. Carroccia immediately schedule an appointment to fix it, but sent her flowers to apologize for the error (that was not even his fault). Flexible with their scheduling, understanding of fears, and efficient, this is my dream dental office.

Dr. David L. Isaacs, DMD and staff at Isaacs and Isaacs in Wilmington Delaware did a fabulous job…read moreon my smile. This a saying a lot since I rarely write about an experience unless it is really bad. Since I am soooo pleased I wanted to send a shout to the world. Dr. Isaacs took the time and care to work on a delicate situation. I had severe bone loss in the front of my mouth. In fact I was told by a well known dentist in the area that it was his professional opinion that an implant was not possible and that he also recommended additional teeth be pulled since the decay appears to be spreading. Dr. Isaacs did his own analysis and worked to cultivate the bone. Over time, he was able to generate enough bone to support an implant. He took the time to ensure that there was enough bone and that the implant would stick. I was fearful that I would have massive discoloration, crooked teeth, etc. Dr. Isaac has restored my smile. I am officially done treatment and my smile looks fabulous. For those in need of good dental work in a relaxed and fun environment, I recommend that you visit Isaacs & Isaacs Family Dentistry. You will love the treatment and the experience. N. Holly

Methodical and very deliberate, I walked out of his office with my teeth looking better than before my accident! Dr. Isaac is, to use a word I avoid, "amazing." His office staff is particularly friendly and helpful. He even had a "walk-in" veteran there as I was waiting and the staff was accommodating him in such a pleasant manner. Every town should have a dentist like this!

So after a year of living with a failed root canal I decided it was best to part with my leftover…read morehalf of a second molar and make space for an implant. New Concept Dental was referred to me from my old dentist who retired. The ladies at the front desk are super nice and so was Dr. Matthews who examined me. He wanted to take my half molar right then and there but I told him I needed to say goodbye to it properly. Truth was I was chicken. I really, really, really hate getting my teeth worked on but it must be done. The alternative is far worse. The day of my surgery I was scared but very comforted. These people understand that no one likes the dentist and they do their best to put you at ease. No lecture, no torture, some good Tylenol with Codiene to ease the pain. I slept like a baby and the next day I was good as new. I didn't even have swelling or bruising. They give you detailed instructions on your after care and a follow up phone call. Definitely thorough. Highly recommended.

My family and I have been a patients at this practice for more than 20 years and will be changing…read moreto another provider. In the past few years, things have really gone downhill. They have become more corporate and their dentists are focused on pushing unnecessary procedures. Billing is a nightmare - recently received a bill that was issued two days after my visit (before they even submitted it to insurance) stating I owed them, yet when I went in person to straighten it out, they acknowledged that in fact I didn't owe them anything and had a credit on my account that they owed me! Most recently, when they referred me out to a specialist and that office contacted them to get necessary information, the New Concept Dental staff gave inaccurate information to the specialist's practice, which resulted in my having to spend a couple of hours trying to straighten out the situation. I then called and left a message for the practice manager at New Concept Dental asking for a call back - never got a call back, but honestly since the staff on the phone argued with me about the necessity of my request to speak with the practice manager and tried to rationalize away their giving out wrong information to the specialist practice, not sure if she was given the message. Finally, I find it a bit short-sighted that during my last visit, they have posted signs that say they are no longer giving out toothbrushes or toothpaste/floss samples as management has determined they need to cut costs.
