My family and I had the most miserable experience with the car service DIRECT LOGISTICS based in Happague. They drove us to JFK on Tuesday, 7/18. There were 4 adults and my 2&4 year old. We used this company in April and they were fantastic and stored two of our car seats for us until we returned. Well, now storing car seats is enough to set off the owner, Greg. He sent my 71 year old mom, who literally does not even curse, a barage of rude, insulting, and uncalled for messages barating her for having him store one car seat. Then he moved on to barating her for not letting him know that we had a duffel bag and a umbrella double stroller with us. After that, he informed us we were abusive to his driver with whom we had a very pleasant conversation with about how he has a four and a six-year-old at home. Greg the owner told us to find our own ride home from the airport and then one hour later told us his guy was at the airport to pick us up and was going to take pictures because he never strands anybody anywhere. He proceeded to end the conversation by calling my mother garbage. During this barage of angry text, we kept asking him when we could pick up the car seat we left with him and he ignored the question every time. My parents had to rent a car to drive home, and I had to call a friend with car seats to come pick up myself, my husband and our two kids. the driver who claimed we were abusive, drop the car seat off at my parents house the next day. At that time, he claimed he never called us abusive. I cannot Stress enough about what an absolute nightmare this man was to deal with. I have never encountered someone with such poor customer service skills in my entire life. He was willing to leave 4 adults and two toddlers with no ride at the airport, but then one hour later backpedaled. I am including a handful of the text messages in this post. Driver was more than 2 hours late picking me up from JFK airport. When I called him asking when he was coming, he got confused seemed to think he was picking me up from Manhattan. When I realized the driver was delayed indefinitely, I called the company asking if I could cancel because I had a work meeting I couldn't miss. The guy I spoke to was incredibly rude and said he wasn't going to give me a refund if I cancelled. I explained to him that I'd been waiting for two hours and he said "lady, you haven't been waiting two hours." I said, "my flight landed 2 hours ago." And he replied, "well, that's not when we're supposed to pick you up." This got me wondering--what time were they supposed to pick me up? Whenever they feel like it? Uber or Lyft would've been the same price minus the wait. read more

We've been using Greg Sclafani for over a year now during Covid and have found his services to be Covid Clean and very reliable. He always checks the flights to see if there have been any changes to the schedules and is there to pick us up on time at our home as well as at the airport regardless if we are running early or late due to last minute changes by the airlines-- and heaven knows there have been many changes these days. We have had to make many last minute changes and he has always been able to work around them for us. He keeps his cars immaculate. This is very important to us because we do not want to be exposed to Covid. Every car is cleaned between clients. I have never worked with a company that went so far above and beyond. Greg, the owner personally picked up my daughter from the airport and made sure that she got to her location. He was friendly and told my daughter all about NY. My daughter felt so comfortable and cared for. Vivian booked everything with me and made sure to know that my baby girl was in the best hands. She did everything and checked in to make sure there was nothing more we needed. We used their service for airport pick up and drop off. Our driver John is a very nice guy. He introduced a lot of activities we can do in New York City. As this is our first time here, it really helped us a lot to plan our trip. We checked in most of the places he introduced and they were awesome. A couple of summers ago I used a website called AirportService.com to find a ride to and from JFK airport for me and my family. They forwarded our request to Direct Logistics Services (www.limocarserviceli.com). The driver (and I assume business owner) Charlie took good care of us so we decided to use him again on our trip in December 2019. We made the reservation a few months in advance and all seemed fine. On the day of, even after confirming with the driver by email a few hours before, we couldn't find him. We exchanged emails, he kept assuring us he was in front of the hotel. I walked up and down the street trying to find the car that fit the description he gave me. We waited half an hour before we had to resort to plan B: we took one of the numerous cabs available. Once settled in, I started writing him an email to figure out what the misunderstanding was. He had already written an email explaining that he had been waiting by the side entrance. Now, this sort of contradicted his previous email saying he was in front of the hotel, but I guess you could argue that he was in front of the side entrance. Keep in mind that he had my phone number the whole time, and I didn't have his, so we were only corresponding by email. As I was writing a new email trying to figure out how we could compensate him for his time because I felt bad for him losing his morning, I noticed on my phone a barrage of email. All of them were insults and threats to me and my family. About half a dozen emails with threats so specific I had to get the authorities involved. Below are the emails: 08:47 (our meeting time was 08:17) I am in front of the hotel 08:49 (after I informed him we were taking a cab): It cost me money to get here. I was on the side entrance 09:00 What's the matter you can't answer me back you piece of s##t. You're a f###ing piece of s##t and your family. I hope you go to hell 09:00 (referencing our trip with him from two summers ago) I have the address where you were in Westchester. I'm gonna go there and tell him to pay me. I will find you believe me 09:11 (my response after discovering the first few insults and threats): What is the matter with you? You have my phone number. You could have called. We've been waiting 30 minutes. If you were here, it was an easy fix. And now you're insulting me? Is that how you run your business?  09:13 I tried to call you and I couldn't get through a##hole. You know what you're f###ing dead. Do you think I came there for nothing you a##hole. Insult you. I'm going to find a way to get my hands on you you piece of s##t 09:15 (remember: I don't have his phone number, but he has mine.) Why didn't you call me or text me you f###ing liar. I run a good business and I show up when I'm supposed to be you piece of s##t 09:17 I came all the way from Morgantown to pick you up. I told you I would be there at 8:17. And that's exactly where I was. On the side entrance of the hotel. I got the doorman's name in and identification to verify was there. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! THEY WERE 45 MINUTES LATE PICKING ME UP FOR THE AIRPORT MAKING ME WAIT AT THE HOTEL FULL OF ANXIETY SO I HAD TO FIND ALTERNATIVES. I had to pay another car service to get to the airport they won't refund my money. At the airport the check in for luggage drop was very long making me almost late boarding. I booked this company on a Trip to New York in Dec 2021. They failed to pick us up from JFK. We waited for 2 1/2 hours . I've since try to engage with them to get a refund . I had supplied all the evidence of the communication I'd had with them. They are not engaging with me . Not a professional Outfit at all. Think twice before using them. read more

I was fortunate enough to have found Direct Logistics after calling several other car services to plan a trip to the city for myself and a friend for her birthday. The driver, Greg, showed up and called us directly to let us know he was waiting and when we came out, we found this amazing new sedan sitting there and him standing next to the door ready to open it. As we approached he introduced himself and he had this genuine smile on his face that made both of us feel more at ease and as we slid in the car, the comfortable interior completed that feeling. The interior had a nice warm smell as if just cleaned, the interior was spotless and had plenty of room to sit comfortably. The music playing was low enough to talk but still be heard as well and was the perfect touch to the start of what was to be an amazing evening. We requested to be picked up around midnight and gave a location and were told to call if we needed to be picked up earlier or somewhere else. As we drove to the city, we talked of our plans and Greg provided us with a few suggestions on restaurants, one of which we decided on as he made it sound truly amazing; which it was. The man knows what he is talking about! As the night wound down, we made our way to the location we requested to be picked up at and as we rounded the corner, so did Greg...he was a couple minutes early and we appreciated that as the night turned a bit cooler than originally anticipated. I recently visited Long Island from out of state and needed a reliable car service to get me from St James to JFK. Direct Logistics was recommended by a few of my fathers neighbors. They showed up ten minutes early; the car was super clean and very comfortable; driver was respectful and nice. Plus their pricing was very reasonable! Arrived at JFK with time to spare. Booking with a service you don't know - especially when you have a flight to catch - can be nerve wracking, but I would say you can book with confidence. I was referred to Direct Logistics Services by a neighbor of mine. I first referred them to a friend of mine who needed a ride from Bluepoint to JFK. They loved him and said they would use him again. Then another friend/neighbor needed a ride from Smithtown at 4 am to NYC. She thought he was great and on time. Then I had my aunt coming from Asheville to Newark Airport and I hired Greg to pick her up and then pick up my other aunt in NYC and bring them to my home in Smithtown. They thanked me for Greg. Then I used him to go from Smithtown to LaGuardia on Saturday and he was right on time. Then he picked me up last night from LaGuardia and unfortunately my plane was delayed 3 hours and then we circled for an hour before landing. He was there and in a great mood despite waiting 4 hours for me. His prices are reasonable and he returns calls promptly. I will use and recommend him to anyone and everyone. read more
