David took the unit apart, and in removing the drain pan he found a buildup the was keeping the pan from emptying totally. He proceeded to remove the blower which definitely needed service and clean and reassemble the unit. Our AC unit has had a problem needing to be charged every year since we bought it as it is on its…read morelast leg but unfortunately we do not have the money to replace it. This year proved no different and we decided to give Tayfer a call as they do work on our church's units and we had heard positive reviews. They did confirm our unit was on its way out but would try to get it going for one more year. They had to charge it completely and were the first company to let us know that we could replace the AC unit without replacing the furnace as it still has live left in it. We have been cool every since and the AC unit is still working properly and they were extremely affordable for all the work they did charging it after trying to locate the source of the leak. When we go to replace it, we will be giving them a call.

We had them come out for HVAC annual service and they service tech said it was fine and needed no…read moreservice. Then they billed us the entire amount for service. When we questioned the large bill for not doing any service, the rep said we were over billed by tech. They said they would destroy the check in the techs custody upon return I g to shop. They asked for our credit card over the phone for the smaller correct amount. They later never destroyed the check and cashed it. We called and they said it was a mistake and they would issue a refund check in 3 days. 2 weeks later...nothing. Called again and told the One Service Pros merged with All Star and they had no idea. They would "research" the issue and call back. So far, nothing. Don't use them! They don't have good customer service and I'm sure the One service Pros knew when we called that they were merging with new company and didn't care to help use for double charging.
