    Absolute trash product! Wasted $109. Lesson learned. If you're bored in life and need something to spice it up. Order a bunch of trash from these scam artists. You'll thank me later for spicing up your life when you get a bunch of dead sticks in a trash bag. I kid you not my order showed up in a trash bag.

    Wish 0 stars was an option. Purchased 3 tropical trees and 2 types of potatoes April 2nd, didn't get my order until 2 months later. When I did receive my order, 1 bag of potatoes was a rotten mush and the other bag was completely molded. They packed the trees as if this were their first time ever dealing with plants. There was absolutely no soil left in the pot and the roots had completely dried out so the plant was barely alive. I took photos and contacted their customer service the day I received my order to complain. I got a response a week later asking for me to send back the products. Yeah right, like I'm going to mail a rotten bag of potatoes. I sincerely hope this company goes out of business. I completely support small businesses, especially during times like this but this company is ripping people off. I filed a complaint with the BBB after now finding out how many others had the exact same issues as I did. Companies like this should not be able to stay in business.

    If I could give them zero stars I would! I placed my order on 5/14/2020. My order was $410.02, I ordered 85 plants in total. My credit card was charged on 6/12/2020, but I didn't received any plants. I tried calling the number on my order as well as the website and no one answered the phone (shady). I received 4 plants on 6/28/2020! I was missing 81 plants! I finally got someone on the phone can they said the rest of my plants wouldn't be delivered until the fall for Spring of 2021! I told her if that was the case that I wanted to cancel my order. They said ok, they would cancel the order. It's now 10/26/2020, they still have not cancelled my order. I continue to get tiny plants shipped to me, one or two plants at a time. I had to but bamboo sticks next to the plants, so I would know where to water. Half the plants I have received, did not bloom, come up etc. I highly doubt come Spring 2021 they will come up either. I probably have 10 plants that I planted that actually survived. Do NOT order from this website - you will be highly disappointed!

    I ordered two small quacking aspen saplings. They arrived a couple weeks later in a shipping bag - not box. Both were broken off from their root balls. When I emailed about the shipping issue (worst packaging I've ever seen for "living" plants) they told me I'd need to use their guarantee which allows me to replace them one time. I've told them that I don't think I should need to use my one time replacement for their shipping issue (they charged me $10 shipping!). No answer. I'll be filing a complaint through MasterCard to get my money back. Do Not Buy from them - there are plenty of reputable nurseries that ship with much more care and actually try to send you living plants.

    Rotted moldy dead plants shipped in plastic bag unprotected. Plus one "in stock" item, backordered or simply not delivered. I have purchased plants from other nurseries online before. Usually they come boxed and protected with at least some sign of life. These? Well some came in little bags and had molded and smelled or rot. Not to mention 3 of the bags were supposed to have 3 plants each...but either one in each bag had completely rotted or I was shorted. The rose was sent void of any soil, bare root and dry. I seriously put it in the ground 5 minutes after receiving in hopes to save it. I also planted the rotted plants in pots, but give them no chance of surviving. The free items were a joke and I have seen better specimens at Dollar Tree. I tried staying in touch with Direct Gardening on multiple occasions. After over a month I asked for and update and they replied my order was in shipping at that very moment. That was nearly 3 weeks ago. I inquired again last week and got no reply at all. I should have paid attention to the other reviews. Very sadly, the single list item I even wanted was showing in stock when I ordered...it wasn't in the green outer garbage bag everything was placed in and no explanation where it was. I then looked at the outside of the bag and found a shipping order list with that item crossed out. No refund and no clear explanation if I would ever get it!! I also see on that label that they will not offer any warranty if you don't have that particular label...disguised as a shipping label, probably so folks will think nothing of throwing it away. I am highly disappointed in every aspect of this..and disheartened these folks claim to be a nursery when they basically send off plants to their demise. That's assuming they were alive at least a few weeks before shipping...these don't look that way. Steer clear of these people..you will most certainly be dissappointed.

    Keep All Packaging! Half the plants were dead, other half 90 percent dead. Customer service said to mail request with original packaging. Why is that necessary? I have emails, credit card info, and packaging slip...nope. This is their response after I said I would warn other people.

    I should have read the reviews before ordering. Waited almost 8 weeks to get order. My six plants were shipped in a bag, the plants were all loose. They smashed against each other, breaking what little that was there. One was sticks!! I don't expect to NURSE the plants back to health from damage during shipping. Customer service number is always busy, busy, busy. Do not order from Direct Gardening!!

    Ordered two roses and they showed up cooked. Rotten mushy stems and white shoots. These roses where killed by too much heat. I planted the roses just in case they might live. It took 3 weeks for the order to arrive. But heat is heat. The roses came in a plastic bag each and those two bags on a larger bag. That is not enough protection from the heat in travel. They want me to mail back the dead plants. More of my time. I just won't ever order from them again.

    No no no no no! Do not buy from these people! This company is a complete fraud! Had I looked at their yelp reviews before ordering online I would've never ever ever gone down this path! This plant took me almost a month to get, with constant phone calls from me and them telling me they mailed it they mailed it it will be there soon. I ordered it on November 17 and received it on December 10. It is dead as a door nail. To get my money back I would have to send it back and pay the shipping with no return money for the shipping? Why would I do that? I contacted my credit card company for a dispute and called it fraud. Do not order from them, the picture that it was supposed to be was some big beautiful yellow cactus and it's dead as a door nail and like a 2 inch plant? This company is a total fraud and should be shut down immediately!

    Healthy plants, moist soil and roots, bulbs in good condition.. Happy with my purchase.

One tree is really trying hard to make it. I called about the dead trees. They said wait 5 weeks. They gave me a voucher for one but I get to pay shipping again. I purchased seeds. So far they germinate and come up to about a inch then die off. That is sad, I literally found some skullcap seeds dated 2009 from another company. I planted those and they are taking off like mad. Buying from these guys is like going to the dollar store, paying full price and getting seeds from taco bell... Already chewed ate and crapped out.

I opened it immediately and found two of the plants in plastic containers. The other two were plastic potted plants just in the bag. The two in the containers seem ok. The other two (see below) had one leaf between them. I emailed four seasons the same day and as of today have received zero communication from them. I suggest looking elsewhere for your plant needs. They only shipped part of my order after I filed a claim with my credit card company (since they charged me, another month passed, and still nothing). Then, miraculously, my order arrived, partially fulfilled. I planted everything the day it arrived because many looked like they were struggling already.. I believe 2/10 things I planted has any signs of life. Prior to submitting a claim, I called numerous times, different times of day, over several days, but every time it rang busy. I also emailed, no response. I just received a letter saying that they need payment and are going to recharge my cc for the dead plants they sent me unless I contact them. YET THEY MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THROUGH. I am beyond irritated, which is why I'm taking the time to write this crap review. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. THEY HAVE FAILED OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

I was stuck with them because the HOA where I used to live is contracted through them, but if you have a choice don't use them. I literally can't even tell when the grass has been cut and almost every single one of my former neighbors were in agreement with me about the lack of quality in their "services". In fact one of my former neighbors busted out his lawnmower and mowed his own lawn because they do that bad of a job. They clearly need to lower the blades on their mowers and/or at least sharpen or replace them entirely because it seriously doesn't even look like someone attempted to mow. The only way I ever knew if they'd even been here was if I heard them outside. There's never any fresh cut lines in the grass either, just straight up tire tracks. They also take their sweet time to finish the simplest of tasks, they take breaks that last anywhere from 30mins to 2 HOURS, and they clearly don't take any pride in their work whatsoever. You're better off mowing your own lawn at this rate.

After reading all the negative reviews about…read morethem, I figured we'd wait forever, get dead plants, and have a huge hassle dealing with the company. The company does take quite a long time to do anything, whether it's fill an order or issue a refund. That's the only negative about them. Contrary to other reviews, I found the company very easy to contact and to work with. Every time I called there, the phone was always answered immediately by a live person. The company always did everything they said they would, when (albeit slowly) they said they would do it. After ordering the plants and waiting several weeks, maybe about a month, my mother got the order. After pondering for a couple weeks about what to do with them, she decided that planting them would be way beyond her means (she ordered a couple hundred plants), so she wanted to return them. Again, based on all the negative reviews I read online, I figured we'd be unable to contact the company, and that they'd find some excuse to not refund her money. The timing was right at the end of the 30 day return period. I called to see if I needed a RMA, expecting (based on reviews I'd read) to have a hard time reaching the company. Their phone was answered immediately by a helpful, pleasant customer service person who said no RMA needed; just send them back for a refund. I sent the package back Priority Mail around the end of June. After a couple weeks, I called them to check on status of a refund, again expecting the worst, based on other reviews. Again, no busy signal, no auto-answer, no annoying phone maze; a live person answered the phone immediately. You sure can't beat that for customer service! The customer service person said they'd gotten the return, that it was being processed, and that a refund would be processed and issued after that, in another week or two. Again, based on all the bad reviews, I still was dubious we'd ever get an actual refund. By the end of July, my mother had her refund check in full. So my experience with their customer service, as well as their returns policy, was nothing but outstanding: a lot better than many companies I have dealt with. The only reason my review is 4 stars instead of 5 is that they do move pretty slowly. It took about a month to get our order and about a month to get the refund. As long as you set your timing expectations accordingly, you'll be satisfied.

I was provided 2 "Replacement Cerificate" for $87+ but have been unable to connect with a legit working website AND to my surprise they no longer send me their catalogue. If anyone has suggestions on how to get my money back I'd appreciate it beca I am not interested in being ripped off again
