I ordered four plants from Four Seasons. I was very patient and about a month after placing my…read moreorder I emailed checking on the status. Received an email saying they were busy but would get it out soon. Received it about a week later. Shipped in a plastic bag via US Mail. I opened it immediately and found two of the plants in plastic containers. The other two were plastic potted plants just in the bag. The two in the containers seem ok. The other two (see below) had one leaf between them. I emailed four seasons the same day and as of today have received zero communication from them. I suggest looking elsewhere for your plant needs. I know I will unless some happens that changes my mind.

They only shipped part of my order after I filed a claim with my credit card company (since they charged me, another month passed, and still nothing). Then, miraculously, my order arrived, partially fulfilled. I planted everything the day it arrived because many looked like they were struggling already.. I believe 2/10 things I planted has any signs of life. Prior to submitting a claim, I called numerous times, different times of day, over several days, but every time it rang busy. I also emailed, no response. I just received a letter saying that they need payment and are going to recharge my cc for the dead plants they sent me unless I contact them. YET THEY MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THROUGH. I am beyond irritated, which is why I'm taking the time to write this crap review. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. THEY HAVE FAILED OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

It was only after the initial purchase that I realized they got such horrible ratings. The people in their home state think they should be shut down. I got excited and spent several hundred dollars at this website and 11 months later I have almost nothing to show for it other than 3 very tiny stick-like shrubs, some buried "pep pills" and a jar of "plant booster" It's very interesting that they have so many plants listed. And I wasn't against the idea of growing from what are essentially rooted trimmings (clones). I thought I would get my money back or a replacement but instead they gave me a "credit voucher" -- the customer service is horrible. They made me send back my proof of shipping. I don't think they know how to use computers. After I sent back the "proof of shipping" demanding almost all of my money back (excluding the fertilizer and the dwarf cherries that actually survived) they never said anything. I had to send an email asking about the credit voucher. Me: "I mailed the two shipping labels back to you around Christmas 2020" They sent me back a one-liner: "As of 1/11 we show credit vouchers began to issue on your account." Like there is some 1970s bank supercomputer processing these things... I was like "Oh ok" and logged into the account but there is no way to see where those vouchers are or how much they are for. So, I sent them another email: "How do I view those on your website?" Their response: We can send the proof through this email thread if you would like. Thank you, Customer Care My response: "Yes I'd like to know how to use them? How much they were for?" What I did not say was "why the heck do I have to even ask you idiots" I've started a dispute with my bank. We'll see. Since they dragged out this transaction for 8 months, the bank will probably be like "it has been too long" or something. I planted over 50 items from this company and only the 3 Dwarf Cherry plants actually survived long enough to take root and grow leaves. The rest died either in the hot summer months or never sprouted at all. And I tried to find things that could survive in direct sun. It took them many months to send my first partial order. They say they won't "send until the correct planting time", but they sent the items so late in the planting season that, of the few items that made it into the ground and actually seemed to be budding, they all died as it hit summer. (Received late May items that could have been planted in April, they died in June)

They looked dead when they arrived and stayed that way all summer. Not one lived. I wanted my money back and THEN found out they don't do that. I got a certificate to order more. Don't think I will do that.

This company also goes by Direct Gardening. Do not ever, ever, **ever** order from this company,…read moreever. They don't ship plants, they lie; they ship roots. If you do end up with a plant or I should say barely a sprout, it will die. I ordered in April, they took my payment in May, and I got a tiny bag in mid-June. Half of everything arrived dead. I shipped back, at my expense, half of the order and they have not issued a refund. The rest of my order? Died. In fact, they're claiming I didn't pay them at all which is utterly absurd as I have the bank statement showing paid. Now they're threatening me with legal and police action, harassing me, trying to extort money I already had paid them. Half of which they still have not refunded. They do not answer their phones. They reply by email so slowly and never with any actual useful information. These people are total scammers and I do not know how they sleep at night knowing what they do to people. Reported to BBB and will report them other places. They need to be shut down. Avoid at all costs.

Remember not having any of the miniature orange trees that we were supposed to ship. Owner told me to send miniature lemon trees and lable them as orange trees.
