Grateful for the kind, quick, professional ability to understand codes and underlying meanings sometimes it helps to hear what is commonly seen, and I am happy they have my history of what I've purchased too so that I can reference back the dates I've ..for example, replaced my gas cap, etc. I love this location, they've been helpful over the phone - helped me many times over and I feel like I'm talking to friends about my car vs salespeople. Lots of appreciation from a female who likes cars and doesn't like being treated like I don't know anything, yet fun to admit sometimes I know nothing and it's nice to learn a lot about my car too! I walked up to a man who was at another register, his name tag stated his name is Didier N, and attempted to show him a picture on my phone of the radiator fluid I was looking for. I asked him if he could tell me where I could find the item. He would not look at me or my phone and rudely told me to get in line. I explained I was just asking if they carried this fluid and if he could point me in the direction it was located. Again he pointed at the other register and abruptly told me to get in line. I was getting frustrated and asked him if he could just look at the picture and tell me if they carry the fluid. He then said "NO ENGLISH"!!! I was absolutely shocked. He had no problems speaking to me in ENGLISH to go to the next register and get in line. I am a white female. I'm not one to throw around the "R" word lightly but this was very clearly racism. This wasn't just poor service and rude behavior, this was racism at its ugliest. If this young man was in the middle of helping someone else (Keep in mind, they had just opened the door a couple seconds prior) or even if he was helping someone waiting on the phone he could have said he was busy helping someone but he didn't. He was just refusing to help ME, a white female. I walked out and drove down the street to AutoZone. There were two lovely people working, one happened to be an African American young man and a lovely Latino woman, and I told them about what had just happened. They were both as shocked as I was and the young woman was the first to say that was racism. There was no reason for this young man to treat me this way, I was very polite and just was asking to be pointed in the direction of the transmission fluid I needed. That's it. He refused to even look at me. He was refusing to serve me because I was a white female. This is just my two cents.....everyone has to STOP hating on people. Hate only deteriorates your soul. It serves no purpose and produces NOTHING positive. You don't have to agree with someone but you do have to treat them with kindness and respect. Everyone has become so self absorbed and fighting for what they want, they become blind and stomp on the beautiful souls around them. When did we stop having conversations? Maybe just try to have a conversation and learn what the other person is like and what they actually believe, not just what you're assuming, you might end up liking the person and making a new friend. I know it's a crazy concept, but I've seen it work before. We all have to stop hating, otherwise ya'll are just going to end up killing each other and what is that going to prove?? Hate will make you a mental health patient, love will make you a human being. Just my 2 cents.

What I'd say here is that it's really nice to have a neighborhood auto parts store that you can…read moreplace an online order with and pick up in a couple of hours. They seem to have a pretty solid collection of parts and I've been able to find what I need here and the pricing seems fair. As far as the knowledge of the workers, I can only base it on one overheard conversation of a worker explaining to someone how a torque wrench worked, and it was a solid explanation. So seems good based on that one example! The workers seem like they might be mechanic types versus customer service types, which is totally fine. Knowledge is better than a very friendly person who doesn't know about cars, especially in a car store. But it seems like getting around to you when you talk in and step up to the counter to pick up your order is not the highest priority - they usually amble up at a leisurely pace after doing whatever other things they were in the process of doing before you walked in - no interrupt cycles there! :D But it's fine, again, I know it's a chain. But it does feel more like a neighborhood store, and the convenience is really nice. So they're more than OK by me and I'm happy they're close to home.
