The ice cream was good. The "I hate the world" old lady working there wasn't good. Extremely rude. My son asked for another spoon because he dropped his and she yelled "Did you pick it up?" This location is under new management ... and let me tell you, the new manager Sharon is a complete gem From the moment we walked in she was so sweet and excited and has an effervescent personality! She offered us recommendations and even combos she's come up with herself. We got samples, chatted, and she was patient while we made up our minds and was so friendly and personable throughout the entire experience. So glad the owners have got someone worthwhile in here now! {REVIEW FROM 6 MONTHS AGO} I'll give it one star only because I literally LOVE these little balls of ice cream bliss. But I would take the star away based on the horrible service. I'm in town visiting my family and happened to have dinner with my sister at the sushi place a few doors down from here (Shan Kishi btw if you want 5 star sushi) We ran in about 30 minutes before they closed. I was super excited A. I love this ice cream B. I had never been in a store before C. I had no idea they had so many more flavors D. I love this ice cream My ice cream high was soon killed by the super rude, distracted, and totally flippant worked behind the counter. From the minute she finally greeted us she seemed annoyed. She made no eye contact with us and continued to clean the back counter with her back turned to us for a few minutes completely uninterested to help us. I had questions about the flavors which of course went unanswered because by the time she did finally decide that she should help us two other groups came in and she just wanted us to order fast and move on. She was just flat out horrible and I feel sorry for the owners of this place who have horrible employees working for them and who knows if they even know it. At the end... My sister (who is an amazing bartender here in town and is much more sympathetic to those that may have had a super busy day during tourist season here in destin) GAVE THE GIRL A $5 TIP (more than the cost of her ice-cream) the girl didn't even blink or say thank you. Straight up RUDE! I may love this ice cream. But I'll never shop at this location again! read more

This Dippin' Dots is very clean, the staff is nice, and their is many amazing flavors to choose from! I prefer this one over the others in Miramar. read more

I've never met an adult as passionate about Dippin' Dots as the lady that runs this store. She was suggesting so many flavor combinations to my kids, I joked that she was a Dippin' Dots bartender. She called herself a mixologist, so I'm sure she's heard it before. It's always nice when the people are friendly and the service stands out. Oh you know Nailah and Madeleine hooked us up with that good stuff at this joint. So hospitable and Nailah even said that my name was cool! Yes, my name is cool, it's Bo. But it was really nice of them to acknowledge that. They're determination and hard work behind the Dippin' Dots counter made the flavors even more explosive upon my needy tastebuds. Are they ever open!? Went twice when they were supposed to be open (once on a Sunday at 1pm, and a Sunday night at 10pm), and the doors were locked, lights off with a bunch of people waiting. In town vacationing and found the store while eating next door. Walked in with 7 people and we were immediately greeted by a smiling and very happy Manager named Sharon. We went on 7/22 and it was an older lady. She was very nasty with us!!!!! I asked to try one sample and she pushed it on the counter so hard some spilt. I said that was rude she said "I have people behind you I'm not being rude what do you want" she was nasty from the min we got there to when we left. I didn't even want to try any others. My family always comes in a few times a week but this is our last time ever going to this Dippin' Dots again. Very very rude lady!!! She even put her hands on her waste looking at us saying "we'll do you know what you want" I got what I usually get for even though I just wanted to try something new this time. Came by on a Sunday evening end of June around 10:30pm as they were open til 11. A lot of people were sitting in their cars eating their dippin dots. A big guy working at the counter with a blue shirt awkwardly stared us down with a grumpy look when we walked towards the store. We walk in and it was awkwardly silent with no music playing with one family sitting down inside. We walk in and not one employee greeted us or said hi. (3 were present) I told the big guy what I wanted after he awkwardly just stood there waiting and he set it up on counter same with my husband and he gave us the price of the two. He never said hi or thanks and we awkwardly left. Horrible customer service!!! Also there was mops and cleaning supplies laying all over the floor in the dining area (30 mins before closing) that we had to walk around to order! read more

This place smells like cigarettes. $5 for a small ice cream is outrageous even for the novelty of it ($20 for our family of 4). The employee left after serving us and never came back. She reached her ungloved hands into the containers to fill tiny cups for samples. We should have just said no thank-you and left. The whole place was depressing and smelly. read more

As soon as my family and I arrived in Destin we looked for the Dippin Dots store that was open. After passing 2 closed stores we found one that was open in Miramar Beach. I'm glad we found this one, it had the most flavors and the manager and her staff during the week had the upmost consideration and patience for our group of almost15 in town for a wedding. We have never received this kind of excellent customer service. They suggested flavors and I even swayed from my normal banana split and got lemon and chocolate, who would have ever thought lemon and chocolate Dippin Dots would be so good? I appreciated her and her staff making our vacation incredibly unforgettable with our Dippin Dot experience, thank you all! read more

We showed up yesterday around 2:30pm... everything was dark and locked up. The hours on the door state that they are opened 12-11:30 pm. Called the location in Destin and they kindly told us that sometimes the employees don't show up so they don't actually have set operational hours. read more
