Excellent groomers who do a good job at a good price! Quick, competent, and they actually listen and follow instructions! More importantly, they take excellent care of my tiny little baby Maltese who was downright traumatized by her first two visits to the groomers: PetSmart and PetCo! Yeah, I didn't know any better! *facepalm* I've always had dogs and cats, but she's the first one I've ever had that requires actual grooming on a regular basis -- instead of the occasional bath & nail trim at the vet! Speaking of which, they always grind the nails, never cut! That and expressing the anal glands is included in the price, though you do have to pay extra for tooth brushing! They're so gentle that she doesn't mind going, and she's never traumatized and shaking when I pick her up -- just happy to see me after an hour apart! ALSO... If your dog has more than a little matting despite daily brushing because you've never had a longhaired breed before and don't know what you're doing, remember: humanity over vanity! Take them here to be shaved down gently and safely without being traumatized! Then listen very carefully when they tell you exactly what tools and techniques you should be using from now on, and how often! So far, every groomer there has been great - but Jazz is particularly awesome! Remember to tip your groomer! read more

Today I took my 5+ month old puppy for a full groom. (his first) Unfortunately that didn't happen because the young woman (groomer?) said it couldn't be done but a "touch up" of the nails, ears, paws, etc could be done. This was unacceptable to me as all these things had been done by my vet or myself. I had driven 10+ miles one way and have been doing so for so many years I can't remember. This included 4 different dogs. As I was entering the store there was a sign posted in the door saying closing early today at 4 pm. I think this was the real reason for not grooming my puppy. Additionally, I tried making this appointment when my puppy was for months old. Same comment of not doing a full groom so I waited another 6 weeks before making this appointment. No mention of a touch up. I tried calling several times after leaving because I was very angry. Calls went to voicemail, i left voicemails. Not a surprise. They were not busy but they did not want more customers today because they were closing early. I will not be returning to Dipidy Dog in the future. Made the mistake of bringing my dog here a few times. Groomer did not really seem to like my senior Maltese who weighs 5 pounds. He came home from his last grooming appointment and he was shaking. I took him to the vet. He had been injured. He had a neck injury. He was on steroids and pain medication for 10 days. Who abuses a 5 pound dog? He hardly has any teeth. When I called to advise them of the situation, the woman who answered the phone was very lovely and apologetic, but seems like the groomers there are abusive. And now my dog is terrified of clippers. I took my Yorkie for a grooming after being there before. It's the worst haircut she's ever gotten in her 14 1/2 years very very very disappointed. I don't think the groomer has ever worked on a dog before. They also neglected to trim her toenails. But still managed to charge us full price for everything. Not going back. read more

This was the second time that I went to this groomer. The first time was in December (4months ago) I have a 7lb yorkie. I was charged in December 45.00. I took her today and they charged me 75.00. I asked what happened? How come the price changed? They said I paid 65 in December and I said then why is is75 today? Oh prices went up ! What? She asked if I wanted a to pay for a tip? What? I was on speaker phone when you LEGITIMATELY HUNG UP ON MIKE. We had 3 dogs, 2 groomed one bath. You said and I quote " the way you spoke to my employees is unacceptable, I refuse to continue this conversation"-click. So now you can understand why we were upset??? Of course we were. Zero explanation of what happened. The ER vet couldn't make a diagnosis due to how mangled her eyes were! Begged us to tell them what actually happened. And all we could say is that YOU and YOUR employees refused to- on numerous occasions- tell us exactly what happened!! She was, by the grace of god, able to get squeezed into an eye specialist appointment- where they said had it taken any longer she would loose her eye! The negligence is absolutely unacceptable. You should have taken responsibility and called the second something bad happened- yet no phone call, your groomers waited until we showed up and go with it might be shampoo?!?? It was a lacerated retina resulting in an ulcer!!!! She still may go blind!!! Backpedaling now has no effect on us, you were given multiple opportunities to do the right thing, and you chose not to each time. The first would have been a phone call when it happened, yet you waited 2 hours until we showed back up. You should not be responsible for other peoples animals. You have made me and everyone else terrified of what may happen when leaving our babies with anyone who we ASSUME are licensed, caring, and responsible business owners. Your business practices are appalling. You should not be in the grooming business. read more

I have to agree with Alexander. We have taken our dog in here a number of times but we will no longer do business here. I used to tell everyone to go here but now I warn them away. The first time they did my golden the job lived up to the hype! He didn't shed for months! It was the most beautiful job I had seen on a golden. However since then he's come out with nails untrimmed, uneven coat trimming (I fixed it at home), thick matted knots and shedding like crazy (it has taken me hours at home to work them out). The last time I was so disappointed. I had just had twins, they were in the NICU, and I was recovering from surgery and preeclampsia and our dog needed a good grooming from being dog sat for two weeks. I just needed the grooming to be great so I wouldn't have to worry about it and it wasn't. In fact is was terrible. But I didn't have the energy or time to complain or get it remedied. I took my 7-8 month old pit puppy to them for a nail file/trim and it was her first time ever! They did amazing I'd say perfect!! My pup was all smiles when we left! I was able to relax and pick out some bones for her because I could physically here the groomer talking to my dog and making sure she was calm the whole time!! I'm beyond impressed. I own a dog training company and have been to many groomers in this area! None are like dipidy dog!! Please take your pups to them!! 10 stars if I could!! Very disappointed. My golden doodle looked like someone took an electric clippers to her without any other trimming. Her tail, which I had requested to be groomed and the long part cut back some, did not even looked like it was trimmed at all. I cannot say anything positive about the grooming (she had long, untrimmed Tuft's in several places and was trimmed right to her skin in other spots). They called for me to pick her up only 1-1/2 hours later! I cannot conceive a proper grooming on a large dog that quickly. it was absolutely the worst cut she has ever had. Read the reviews and was very skeptical but needed grooming for 90 lb. Labradoodle with lots of mats. Thought for sure without a doubt this difficult to groom dog would be shaved down. Was prepared for the worst and couldn't believe my eyes. Oliver was clean, fresh and NOT shaved. They got all the mats out. I'm going back with my other dog too. I love this place, they groomed all four of my babies at a very reasonable price. I have three Brussels and a Teddy Bear who is female. All the Brussels Griffons are males. The dog cookies smell good enought o eat. It is very accessable-they let you park in front of store to drop off, pick up and buy food. The groomer Kristine was a delight. She had her hands full with all my pups and listened to my every word on how I wanted them to be groomed. Vallerie is also very helpful as are the two young girls that talked with me while they put the finishing touches on my little one. read more

I am horrified that a dog left here with razor burns on their chest and bruises on her face. Beware, the owner is claiming the dog had "hair" in their eye and the dog started rubbing it. We have been bringing our Australian Shepherd to DipidyDawg for about 5 months now and we're very pleased with the grooming he has received. The staff is always very attentive and through with him and he always comes home looking and smelling fantastic! The grooming rates are very fair especially being as he's an 80 lb dog. I hadn't been to the newest location and it's been a long time since I've been in but I stopped in for a quick treat for my pup's birthday. Immediately upon entering I was hit with the sweet scent of cinnamon and peanut butter. It smelt good enough to eat! The shop is a great size and everyone was so nice and friendly. I can't speak for the grooming but the shop had a good selection of brands and were a little over priced but it's a specialty dog shop, so that's to be expected. We had immediate service. We forgot to get the name of the wonderful woman who took care of us. We usually go to the "big name" place that charges more than Dipidy Dawg (we gave a tip, for sure). Also, the other place required that you schedule on line, but their on-line scheduling would not allow you to schedule. My dachshunds only needed nails trimmed. They did an excellent job - they are hard to trim because the nails are black. My dogs are skittish, but not at Dipidy Dawg. They have a cute little bakery for dog treats and a plethora of foods and other treats, toys, etc. GREAT service! They appreciate having customers, which seems to be something that is lacking these days during COVID. This is my new go-to place. Right beside Publix at Corkscrew. Love Dipidy Dawg! I've been taking my dog here for almost 2 years. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They always remember that my dog has long quicks and they take special care when trimming his claws. Once, a employee brought him back out to me, claws untrimmed, because she didn't want to hurt him. She explained that she was new and still learning and would rather risk my displeasure than hurt my dog, suggesting I come back the next day when another groomer was in. In the past this place did a great job but has sharply declined in quality. I picked up my shih-tzu today not only to find that her haircut was uneven but they had knicked her as well. Now I get the dogs thrash around and mistakes happen, but the young woman at the front counter said nothing of it. In fact she didn't say much at all and was deadpan for our brief stint in the store. Naturally I wanted to introduce my puppy to the groomer and let her know what I was looking to have done. She came out with an attitude and expressed she was really busy. I received a phone call around 430 to let me know that my dog was ready.
