Stay far away! All the negative reviews are 100% true. I hired Katie and Jeremy to do a substantial…read moreremodel in the main living area of my home. We spent over a month going over the details and the prices. Katie was super attentive and followed up with me daily up until the moment where I signed the contract and gave her money. Then immediately I was met with excuses as to why they weren't showing up or why they were late. We're never here themselves. They had literally their teenage child and another young employee here doing most of the work in the beginning and they had no idea what they were doing. After about two total weeks of work not consecutive we told them that they had to have somebody here supervising these kids otherwise they wouldn't be allowed on the property. Demo was done way before it needed to be. Nothing was covered correctly so my house got destroyed. Drywall and dust was everywhere. They didn't even have the basic supplies needed to properly do the work and to properly clean it up. They ended up using my equipment which all got ruined. They put kitchen appliances on my back patio where they set for over a month and even though it was covered from the rain the elements still destroyed the finish on all appliances and ruined my dishwasher completely and I had to buy a new one. After a ton of complaining and threatening not to pay any more money they did eventually get out actual subcontractors who knew what they were doing, including true electricians, true plumbers, and other assorted handymen ended up completing the work. Jeremy was here a total of maybe three days during the whole 2+ month process and I am not kidding one day All he did all the subs were working around him was push my swiffer mop around the floor spreading drywall dust all over the floor. I ended up being far over budget because things they told me they could do they ended up not being able to do. The most expensive lesson was I had to replace all the flooring in the main living area when they originally told me I would not have to. The main subcontractor who did most of the work and saved the job from being a complete disaster has never been paid by Katie and Jeremy. I've sent numerous emails and phone calls and texts and all I ever get from Katie is an excuse as to why she can't pay. It's always something with a kid or some family member being in the hospital or being sick or even dying. I've told her and Jeremy hundreds of times that either they are the biggest liars or they have the absolute worst luck in the world. Based on all the other reviews, they are clearly liars. They have quite a colorful history and don't bother suing as they do not show up to court. they are simply securing jobs collecting the money and robbing Peter to pay Paul. They have absolutely no skills themselves. They even had the nerve to post the work that the sub (who they haven't paid) did on their social media pages as if they did the work themselves. When I called them out on it, they blocked me.

Initial stucco work looked like 2nd grade play dough work. When asked to return to fix, they never…read moreshowed up at the appointment, no text and no response to text, no phone call and no answer when called. I don't know how their business continues.

My wife and I are so pleased with Jeremy's work, we asked for him to remodel our main bathroom and laundry room. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is getting them back to finish the other side of the house. They are in demand so it took an extra week to get them back. Well worth the wait.

Received a quote from handyman for $700 to install a new prehung door. They sent Larry and Frank…read moreand in the process of removing the old door and frame they chipped our interior tile. During install I had to ask many times why does it not look straight or square and the older man said well what can you do. Larry cut the door frame much more than needed, and matt the manager mentioned that wasn't done correctly. Larry cut out the header and installed it under the threshold raising the door significantly above the interior floor. They decided the door had to be installed crooked to close correctly. After Larry said the job came out perfect he handed me an additional bill for $350 saying he was charging for the extra cutting and header work he didn't have to do in the first place. I told him the finish work was unacceptable. the stucco repair was already cracking, the interior drywall repair was done by loading the excessive gaps with caulk and the 1\4 round he said was going to make it look clean and straight was not even finished. Larry was trying to cover up his poor job. Additionally he drilled numerous holes in our door frame and left them exposed saying we can fix that. Made holes in the threshold which were not supposed to be drilled making an eyesore. Finished with great stuff foam and caulking all over the door frame making it unsalvageable. Need a new frame and a company to come in and fix their mistakes. We were assured by the manager Matt we needed a new door and we gave him the build sheet and receipt. Told would be fixed and now are getting excuse after excuse over a $2,246 door. Waiting now over a month and a half and we know the frame was reordered and is waiting at Lowes! They still after all this time have not contacted us or intend to finish their job. Please don't use this company, save yourself a lot of money and frustration..the rating on BBB is not correct! They are a fraudulent company who shouldn't be in business and get away with this. Their customer service women laughed at me and said it was our fault the door was put in wrong. So sad how they treat people.

I wouldn't hire this company to re-roof my dogs doghouse!! There's so many things wrong with this…read morecompany I don't even know where to begin!! First they send a fraudster, Gary Farmer (GOOGLE HIS NAME) to our house with a binder full of false medals and accolades from the military when the guys being charged with STOLEN VALOR, he never served a day in his life!! He went to the extreme to fake recommendations, medals, accomplishments and the whole nine!! We chose Steel Hammer who was the mid bid of the 4 companies due the the fact of Allegedly being Veteran owned, and being a general contractor as we had trusses broken from a fallen tree. First off they held our 10k down payment ransom for 2 months while giving us the run around on the start date, in that time we had 2 close calls with hurricanes....speaking of hurricanes, they even lied to me and said our materials were sent to the west coast because the hit areas got precedent, I called the supplier and NO ORDER was ever even made! I finally told them to give us our money back and we'd hire a competent company, this was after Gary tells me to do so, but at that point I was already going to do it because I hate LIARS and being ran around during a very active hurricane season. I guess the thought of losing money got them moving, and the thought of doing the whole hiring process over and waiting on a check during hurricane season led us to just allow these CLOWNS to do the job!! LET THE NIGHTMARE BEGIN!! Oyeah, it hasn't even started yet!! They were supposed to get a engineers design to fix the trusses in which I was guaranteed by Brandon and Gary they would do, it was my first question when they said they could do the job. We unfortunately were on vacation when the roof was fixed, or rather NOT FIXED!! I doubt they had a engineers fix on the first attempt, in fact I doubt the roofers who showed up even knew about the broken trusses! They slap some 2x4s half ass on it and re-roofed it! There was a bird bath so big you could see it from the ISS!! I send pictures to the Building Official and he pulls the passed inspection. Now a guy from Brandon's Daddies company comes over to try to do what should've been done when they had my roof ripped off. Now the counties involved so they're using a engineer, the engineer wasn't happy with the 1st attempt to fix it so he comes out again, at this point he gives up and says the roof will have to be RIPPED OFF to fix it!! They rip the roof off and low and behold it's still bird bathing, why? Because they didn't fix all of the broken trusses even after ripping the roof off a second time! They must've used a jack, or just forcing a 2x4 made our living room drywall drop from the ceiling more than before and it was because of a broken truss. They also came on Thanksgiving of all days to finish it!! I would give them 0 stars if I could!!
