My gel manicure took longer than usual, the edges we not very neat, and they started chipping after only a few days (that's never happened anywhere else!!). They "clean" them between, of course, but I'm not too keen on busy worker's sanitation skills or consistency nor the dingy look of their pedi bowls. I ended up getting them done at a random shop while out of town and was very pleased. He cut both my big toes during my pedicure. Twice on the left big toe & once on the right. 6 days later they are still not healed and look awful. I can't wear sandals. I should have stopped him as soon as I noticed his hands were shaking. I just didn't want to make a scene on her birthday. Plus, they started getting busy with just 3 nail techs available. If he doesn't regularly do services but did so because they were short on help, he should have just said so. I would have gladly waited considering the outcome. I'm giving one star because he knew he cut me..he should have at the very least discounted my service or refused my generous tip. So Katie I think they said her name was came over to do the design after she confirmed she could do the design I wanted. She indeed could not do the design I wanted she tried MULTIPLE times. My thing is is if you can't do a design just say that I was more than willing to change the design but after 3 plus times of her filing down the nail to restart my nail is brittle my nails look HORRIBLE. She also tried to reshape them and they are more stiletto than almond the sides of my nails are RAW. And they still made me pay for them I will be disputing it with my bank because I now have to go to another nail salon to get them fixed. I use to come here all the time before they went under new management they were amazing now not so much definitely disappointed I came in for a mani pedi and the water was cold despite saying something 4 times about it my toe nail broke the same day and the way it broke I have no idea how it broke I never stubbed my toes. My feet were so rough still after. The towels were even cold It's like the men they hire don't care. The lady that did my nails was amazing I will also add they changed how they do soak offs and that's something else that really upset me due to the fact they don't wrap your nail with the Cotten and aluminum foil you get a hot towel and you soak your fingers in it with product getting all over your hands. Once I arrived he told me to go ahead and get my pedicure first. I did that. After my pedicure I was told to go to table six which is not his table. I told the lady I have an apply with Alex. She called him and he says he did not see an appointment. I do not see how when he met me to do my nails at my appointment time but then said for me to have my pedicure first. He said I can make another appointment. Absolutely not!!! The reason for an appointment is to be able to be seen at the appointed time and day. Not to leave work in expectation that your nails will be done but not receive the service you're paying for. The pedicure was terrible as well. I asked her multiple times to make the water hotter. Then I asked her over and over to cut my toe nails shorter. Someone translated for her so I do not understand where the disconnect came in at. Poor service. Poor quality. No ownership taken for the lack thereof.
