All the dishes we picked were great tasting and super fresh from the grilled squid, tanguingue seviche, mud crabs, grilled prawns, sweet and sour red snapper, scallops, and blue marlin, as well as shrimps in chili sauce. Crispy pata was our non seafood dish and it too was delicious. Advise, do not order rice so you can try and enjoy more dishes and not get too full too early. Service was quick and efficient with the servers always smiling and attentive. Try the fried mini crabs as an appetizer. Yumm. Highly recommend this place.

There really isnt a lot of parking available, but as long as you can fit your car in a spot, youre good. There have definitely grown a lot in the many years of my absence. I remember it was an all outdoor setting and the restaurant was still halfway through the field. Now, it takes up the entire lot with a second story spaces and airconditioned rooms and private rooms. I dont ever recall having a turo turo/ karenderia setting, but its there now and its the same as the food as they serve in the menu. Like most restaurants here, they have a place to wash their hands that is outside of the restrooms which makes it super convenient and you dont have to crowd the restrooms for that. Also, you can fill your own water pitchers or glasses at their self serve water station just beside the hand washing station. They were all very attentive to us. We had over a party of 15 of all ages and everyone was pretty fed and satisfied.

Situated in Cordova at Barangay Buagsong lies the infamous "bakasihan" who founded by Tatay Entoy. He's the father of "bakasihan eatery ". From Cebu City, we travelled 51mins. via single motorcycle. And I'm telling you, better pat sunscreen coz the heat from the sun is too much. LoL. T'was almost 2pm and the place is still packed with patrons eating in big groups. Crowded yet we still manage to find a table to dine-in. FOOD. "Nilarang na Bakasi" (tiger reef-eel stew) - tasty & a bit of savory side. It is made in a spicy and sour coconut milk-based broth with garlic, red onions, tomatoes, fermented black beans, chilis & sour fruits. T'was indeed a steal when visiting Cordova! Fried Bakasi - crispylicious fried fish which you can easily eat its bone. Taste better when dipped on sauce (combination of soy sauce, vinegar/calamansi & chili). Saang - they steamed it and the saltiness from the ocean make it a great sign that t'was freshly caught. Imbao Soup - one of Cebu's delicacy that's also rampant in Cordova. The soup is so hearty the moment you slurp it. It has its own distinctive sweet taste that even without any seasoning, it's sure taste yummy. Imbao meat is a little bit gooey especially if it's a lil bit large. Lato "sea grapes" - is fresh as well but they really don't clean it thoroughly. Still a must when feasting seafood. Don't forget dipping it on a vinegar. Ginisang Octopus - t'was good! Savory and every bite is delicious. Meat is perfectly cooked and not really gooey. They make it a bit spicy which add kicks to it. Takeout: Ginisang shrimp - t'was perfectly cooked and the saltiness balanced to its sweetness. It also has its nice texture to it. Halang-Halang in the form of seashells meat (don't know what kind of seashell is it) is the perfect "pulutan" for people chillin' with beer. Spicy and undeniably Onolicious! Our juander Cordova seafood feast is both filling and economical. For $17.50 t'was one of the best seafood mukbang I ever tasted. With a panoramic view of the ocean's vastness you'll truly enjoy the oldest and most popular eatery serving bakasi in town. Customer service is superb. They were so helpful and friendly. They put that welcoming smile that even though they were tired they still able to show their welcoming aura. Indeed a must visit eatery when you visit Cebu City. Anyway, the way this is set-up is like the public market, only you pick the restaurant that represents and order whatever you like. Tonight's specialty is everything grilled: pork that was marinated several ways of either sweet, the other might be sweet and tangy, same with the chicken, fresh seafoods that are lightly seasoned with just salt then straight to grilling, and last but not the least- roasted pig chopped in big mouthful pieces to enjoy. You may order beers and other cold soda pops once your food arrives after they are cooked. Every customer is assigned a table with number and they determine your orders by this number. Everything grilled as we all know are very yummy. This is an outdoor activity food eating. It means tables and chairs are lined up across the blocked roads that stretches up to at least 3 blocks of what we know it in the US. It is super fun bcs there are several Live bands line-up to entertain all while you eat and drink.
