When I arrived at Brunello Cucinelli, I felt welcomed and was encouraged to stay and enjoy their space. They also had a little bar at the back with refreshments. Marie was amazing. She knows everything well and can even enlighten you about past, and current styles. They have a variety of designs on display and the customer service doesn't fret like they do at Isabel Marant when you look at or pick up an object or article of clothing or jewelry. The Brunello Cucinelli staff actually encouraged me to, and they said that's because that's how you'll know if you love it. I tried on some unique pieces and left with a bracelet that caught my eye. They said too much time had passed for an exchange. I was told that I would have to wait around a month for it to be repaired, but that I would receive updates via text from staff letting me know its status. It's April now and I still don't have my bag back. Every update I've received has been because I've contacted McQueen first to ask. When I expressed concern about the lack of communication, I was told that this was normal for the brand. I'm extremely disappointed to say the least. I've spent more time waiting for my bag to be repaired than actually using it, and the customer service I received has been the worst I've ever experienced from a major fashion house. They took their time helping me choose a candle and diffuser, answered all my questions, and gave me recommendations without ever making me feel rushed or pressured to buy anything. Acqua di Parma also had an artist there who could customize and hand-paint the candle, which made it feel even more special. Tamara and Darian helped me through the whole process and made sure I was happy with everything. What stood out to me most was how friendly and patient they were. It felt like they actually cared about helping me find something I would enjoy rather than just trying to make a sale. I also had an amazing experience with Rani at the Clinique counter. She went above and beyond helping me find the right foundation and shade for my skin. She was incredibly patient and made sure I was actually happy with what I chose. I walked 1.2 miles from my hotel to get here and was very impressed when I walked in! It's like a large department store which is set up like a mall filled with boutiques. They have multiple Prada boutiques, as well as all the other popular designers, all organized by menswear, ladies, perfume, etc. Service was GREAT too! I was shopping for myself, so I stayed in menswear, on the lower level and Ruthie helped me. She got me a great jacket from Peter Millar, a nice polo from Burberry, and a couple other small things.
